I have both ... I like both ... I definitely use my Glizzy for long runs when I need to remind myself not to speed up. They can both DO everything but the Superblast cannot let me slow down. I lock in on that steady pace and can't seem to slow it down or speed it up (That's a compliment) but the Glizzy I can really shuffle nicely at 9 minute paces. My first run after SB2s I immediately went and bought a second pair. My first run in my Glizzy was 12 miles @ 9 minute pace and I had to stop because I had plans but it was so comfortable. So what I'm saying is probably not helpful. Both are great. Both paired with a racing shoe can make an entire shoe rotation. Great video!
I have both. Both are very good shoes. Superblast 2 is a very good training shoes. I normally use it for 3:45 - 5:15 mins/km training (interval, tempo, speed Long run) Glycerin Max for 4:45 - 6:00 mins/km training (recovery, LSD, easy run)
I agree to this video. I borrowed superblast 2 and glycerin max from my friends (same shoes size). superblast 2 is crazy good for like an "all around shoe" like if you're a casual runner, join races sometimes and only need 1 shoes, this is the best and i'm planning to buy this one also. definitely a super trainer. glycerin max could also be an all around shoe, it feels like super cushiony and great for recovery runs, i can feel a very little bit of it's weight but it's really good too and i think it's a solid shoes to use if you want to run after a hard day workout especially after gym leg days.
I currently have the Novablast 4 for my trainer and Brooks Hyperion Max 2 for my speed interval tempo work. I am planning to buy the Glycerin Max for my recovery days and overlap training and upgrading to the Superblast 2 when I retire my Novablast.
@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody I am 250 miles into my 2nd Novablast. I love the spring from the foam. After years of using the Brooks Ghost/Glycerin, I needed more oomph/bounce to keep me going on long distances and not tire my legs. I like the plate in the Hyperion Max 2, which gave me a push to go faster for my speed work. Together, they have helped increase even my slowest speed. Now I need a shoe for recovery days when my legs won't cooperate, that I will also use as a training shoe when I need to rest my Novablast. I believe the Glycerin Max, Hyperion Max, and Nova(Superblast) will each have some overlap with each other in their uses
I love the Novablast. It was working for everything, but I was using it so much, 50 miles a week, I realized I needed a shoe rotation. The Hyperion Max 2 has been great for speed work. It has helped me run faster and easier in my Novablast. I just got the Glycerin Max this week. I have run in it 3 times for 25 miles. It is definitely going to be my short run recovery day shoe. I like the pop bounce from the dual foam, but I do notice the weight on longer runs. I ran twice today, once before lunch in Glycerin Max and once before dinner in Novablast. Both 10K. Was using extra effort to finish in Glycerin Max. Wanted to run longer in Novablast.
I wouldn't recommend these for walking dude. They're designed for jogging and running paces and could cause someone an injury by walking in them due to lack of support at walking pace. There are running shoes out there that are acceptable for walking but most tend to be a bit firmer and less stack.
I have done a lot of walking in them and have recommended them to other folks who have been walking in them without injury. Curious why you think they will?

Thanks! Yea, they both can have a place in a rotation. Glad they are working for you and thanks for the video love

Nice!! Both are really great shoes
I was thinking to do the same, I have the SB2 and looking to purchase the GM for easy/recovery days.
I’m wondering if you considered the NB More V5?
@@donjr.mNB is too plush for me. But It is a good shoe.
Great video! Were on the same page with these two
Thanks!!! SuperBlast 2 is just so good

Which one i should buy for daily training for 5km running?
Hyperion max or saucony endorphoim speed 3
I’d go saucony speed!
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody thank you.
Any issue with Hyperion maX?
maybe GlideRide max can be compare with Glycerin Max
Hoping to get the glide ride max soon

@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody that's cool if it works for others! Just my experience from the past and talking to various other people 🙏
@@Re_mad7 Always important to also understand how others are affected by max! Appreciate you sharing your experience
No actually the Glycerin Max is great walking shoe. I don't see any problem using it for walking. It has great stability and no plate
Glycerin Max is perfect for walking
