what about the weight? please put it on a scale... :) and please take the insole out and let it show...
Who test and decide to release shoes without catching such bad heel design
Would this work as a walking / casual shoe?
Yea, I would and I have. They definitely get the job done
I want this shoe so bad
Definitely a shoe tour gonna want!!
Oh hell yeah 1st comment!
Thanks for being the first!
I have both ... I like both ... I definitely use my Glizzy for long runs when I need to remind myself not to speed up. They can both DO everything but the Superblast cannot let me slow down. I lock in on that steady pace and can't seem to slow it down or speed it up (That's a compliment) but the Glizzy I can really shuffle nicely at 9 minute paces. My first run after SB2s I immediately went and bought a second pair. My first run in my Glizzy was 12 miles @ 9 minute pace and I had to stop because I had plans but it was so comfortable. So what I'm saying is probably not helpful. Both are great. Both paired with a racing shoe can make an entire shoe rotation. Great video!
Thanks! Yea, they both can have a place in a rotation. Glad they are working for you and thanks for the video love
Today I use a Hierro 7. For the next sneaker I'm between the Hoka Mafate and the Tomir 2.0. What do you think is the best choice?
Mafate is one of my favorite shoes. I have used it during an ultra and pacing friends at 100 mile races. I like both shoes, but I might give the nod to Mafate.
Thx for being honest. Always appreciated.
Thanks!!
Are these water proof? If I were to purchase the white pair mud can easily come off from it? etc Thanks!
Not water proof and I think it would come off a little but not back to it’s out of the box condition
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Codythank you for the response this was helpful 😁
I beg to differ, I ran 24km on wet roads, pretty much half the time it was raining and the grip was fine. Its not puma or continental rubber but its not slippery by any measure.
Can't wait to wear mine...walking around town HAHA
Haha nice!!
Nice review. Thank you for sharing. ❤️ My pair just got shipped. Can’t wait for its arrival. 🥰
Let me know how you like them!
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody just tried em on. They are way lighter than I expected and the upper feels amazing. Love the quick laces and heel section. Overall great shoes - love the colorway so much too. Amazed!
@ heck yea!!!! Let me know how you like them post run
Just got it online. Please compare to Triumph 20/21. Don't why I bought it. Clifton 6 and 8 are ok. Don't know if 5mm drop is for me, tho. Anxious to get it.
You think this would be a good travel do it all shoe? Debating between this or the craft xplor for traveling, hiking, etc when abroad!
I think it would be a great option! I really like the xplor to, both great picks.
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody sweet! thanks!
thanks for review . did u feel any scratch on the heel part during your runs? and what socks do u recommend for running ?
Thankfully no! I have now closer to 20’miles and no issues. I wear stance socks and they are always money
Nice review! True to size or should we size up for this?
For me true to size.I am a 9.5 in a hokas and other brands
Always wear padded socks. And it will wear in and you won't have to wear padded socks anymore. And the socks are great.
Yea! Definitely feels better, but that first run hurt
Just got a pair and first run they felt good
Hell yea!! I really like what Diadora is doing
These shoes have managed to check all the boxes for me! Enough cushion for longer runs, responsive enough for when you want to push the tempo, available in a wide fit where it’s wide at the forefoot but snug in the midfoot and heel, and the wide fit was available in not-so-boring colors. I had not worn Mizuno running shoes before but I could not be happier and might even get a second pair just in case. Previously, I wore the NB 1080v12 also in wide, but I found the mid foot and heel to be a little too roomy for my foot; a runner’s knot helped with that but then until I developed a gripe about the max cushion outsole’s lack of responsiveness. It has become a really good walking shoe for me though.
Heck yea!! I’m definitely excited to see where Mizuno goes.
The outsole pattern look like tomir
I can see that, I would say the lugs aren’t as long
How does the cushioning feel? Is it enough or a little bit thin?
I would say it’s in the thinner side. It’s enough for daily runs, but I wouldn’t take it long
500ml soft flask work well with the front pocket on the shredsters?
Yea! I put one in it for my last marathon training block a lot and no issues for me
i just wish they put more effort on the esthetic
😂 😂 I agree!!
I love this shoe, fast and light, and the cushion is surprisingly spongy
Yea!! Definitely a good one
Would you mind compare the 1080v14 with Nimbus 26 ? Thank you
Once I rack the miles in I’ll def do a shoe showdown!
Ran today in it I felt much slower in it vs the Mach x 2 which has a crappy heel flap.
Yea definitely not a shoe I’m dropping the hammer in
How durable could this be?
Very, I think your getting at least 400 miles of not more
Are these shoes suitable for running on mixed terrain? a little asphalt a little trail?
Yes, I would say so. The lugs are deep on it
SL 1 was hard at first and I grew to like it better after it broke in .......the upper on the SL2 is more comfy and midsole is softer....look forward to more runs in SL 2
Yea, SL1 just didn’t do it for me either.
Great review! If you start a petition to get Hoka to release the 2.5, I'll gladly sign. Definitely confusing and makes me think the consumers got a less than ideal release if the Hoka team only run in the 2.5s.
Thanks! 😂 😂 I think I might
The silver dots fell off ! I am surprised at how the quality is bad
That’s a bummer
I would stay away from this shoe brutall mid fit. Topo unfortunately has now become junk
Interesting, I found the misdole to be pretty nice especially at the price
Any update?
With thicker socks I’m not having any issues.
send them to me if they are size 10 UK. I could wear the Hoka mach X2 all day. It’s a top shoe🏆
Bro the fit in New Balance I am 7.5 uk size will it be the same in these mizuno I am ready to buy I just want to know your thoughts Thank in advance :)
It should be! I’m a 9.5 in new balance and 9.5 worked like a charm
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody Thanks Bro I got 7.5 and they fit perfect same as my new balance evoz
Thanks for the review! Love seeing more of these "smaller" brands being covered. More of this please!
Thanks for your support!! Definitely want to make sure I’m getting coverage for all the brands, not just the large ones
Same here. Love the shoe, so I trimmed down that heel. I removed the stitching and trimmed the heel about half an inch and glued the edges. Works fine now.
Yea, definitely an interesting defect to get through testing
Does your usual size in adidas have allowance? My boston 12 in my usual size seems like a half size longer than my new balance shoes. Would you recommend that I go my usual size here? Thank you!
agree with u, my right heel very tortured
Yea!
How is it nitpicking when the phone holder can’t hold a typical phone?
Some people don’t care about pockets, that’s why
When do they have sales, 300$ is crazy
Rarely sorry to say
This shoe is what Pegasus used to be, but better
Agreed!!
So should I order half a size bigger? I have fairly wide feet.
Yes
Yes
If they made it in orange 🍊 I’d buy it
😂
I had issues on my first run. Switched socks to max cushion (non-cotton). No more issues. Amazing ride.
Yea, thicker socks definitely help
Last month, I purchased the Mizuno Wave Sky 8, and just a few days ago, I received the New Balance 1080 V14. When I compare both shoes side by side, it is evident that the 1080 V14 has a higher stack than the Sky 8. The 1080 V14 offers more cushioning, softer foam, and better bounce compared to the Sky 8. I am puzzled by the official specifications from Mizuno stating a 41mm heel stack for the Sky 8, while the 1080 V14 is listed at 38mm.
Right?!?! Doesn’t make sense
I wouldn't recommend these for walking dude. They're designed for jogging and running paces and could cause someone an injury by walking in them due to lack of support at walking pace. There are running shoes out there that are acceptable for walking but most tend to be a bit firmer and less stack.
I have done a lot of walking in them and have recommended them to other folks who have been walking in them without injury. Curious why you think they will?
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody that's cool if it works for others! Just my experience from the past and talking to various other people 🙏
@@Re_mad7 Always important to also understand how others are affected by max! Appreciate you sharing your experience
No actually the Glycerin Max is great walking shoe. I don't see any problem using it for walking. It has great stability and no plate
Which one i should buy for daily training for 5km running? Hyperion max or saucony endorphoim speed 3
I’d go saucony speed!
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody thank you.
Any issue with Hyperion maX?
I agree to this video. I borrowed superblast 2 and glycerin max from my friends (same shoes size). superblast 2 is crazy good for like an "all around shoe" like if you're a casual runner, join races sometimes and only need 1 shoes, this is the best and i'm planning to buy this one also. definitely a super trainer. glycerin max could also be an all around shoe, it feels like super cushiony and great for recovery runs, i can feel a very little bit of it's weight but it's really good too and i think it's a solid shoes to use if you want to run after a hard day workout especially after gym leg days.
Yea! Both shoes are great options for runners.
Just ordered a pair, cant wait to try them out!!
Heck yea!! Let me know what you think
maybe GlideRide max can be compare with Glycerin Max
Hoping to get the glide ride max soon
