Waiting for Bandit to restock some of their colors in the quarter superbeam tights. Can’t wait to try them.
Thanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
This isn’t the foam in the top Evo shoe-it’s last gen Lightstrike Pro; still great all the same.
Are you sure? Adidas keeps saying it’s the same foam
Could you please compare the 361 Eleos with the 1080V14? I currently own the 1080 V14 and I adore it for my recovery runs. Thank you 🥰 361 has recently launched a revised edition of Eleos. This version features a more breathable woven upper in place of the yarn upper. Additionally, the weight has been reduced by 15g for men's size 9. The updated model introduces 4 new colors and a solid, stiffer logo on the side aimed at enhancing support for the midfoot. It appears that this modified version is exclusively available in China, likely due to the region's preference for breathable footwear, given the hot climate throughout much of the year.
Is it good for daily 15km running???
How did you find the sizing? I'm usually a 8.5 and it was a bit 'short' and my big toe was in contact with the upper. Shoe person recommended a 9 and it's definitely roomier in the toe box area but no slippage.
Damn that stinks. I got my normal size of 9.5 and no issues with the length. I do think it’s more roomie in the toe box
Honest and clear review, bro... Appreciated. What about the sizing between these and Speedgoat? Same size? I heard Tecton x3 has a lot of room e lenght....is this true? Thanks a lot for your reply
For me it runs true to size, I am a 9.5 in all hokas and this one worked very well for me. I do think it has a little more room in the toe box compared to the speedgoat.
Good to hear.... Thanks a lot 👍
There are 2 foams ... SR02 and zoom x
Good call
You couldve atleats worn it so we can see the fit
Does it run small, large, or to size?
For me True to size.
Copy that. Thank you.
I had no problem with the heel counter, for me it's the shoe of the year, especially since my race day shoes are Hoka Cielo X1 and Rocket X. I'm afraid that version X3 will suit everyone but not me, version X2 fits my foot perfectly and is very breathable
That’s great to hear!! I know some people didn’t have issues, the 3 looks amazing to me
I have both. Both are very good shoes. Superblast 2 is a very good training shoes. I normally use it for 3:45 - 5:15 mins/km training (interval, tempo, speed Long run) Glycerin Max for 4:45 - 6:00 mins/km training (recovery, LSD, easy run)
Nice!! Both are really great shoes
I was thinking to do the same, I have the SB2 and looking to purchase the GM for easy/recovery days. I’m wondering if you considered the NB More V5?
@@donjr.mNB is too plush for me. But It is a good shoe.
Brooks has been killing it. Quality!
Agreed.
Love mine. Great shoe for long runs and steady paces. For heavy dudes like me who run 30-40mi x week this is worth the money
That’s great! Definitely a shoe I keep reaching for
We didn't even see then on feet..! SMH
😂 I save that for the only fans page
Excellent trainer . Got it early spring and it is still a pleasure to run in .
Definitely a top daily trainer for me!
Did you have to size up by half or a full size?
For 003 I went full size up. I usually wear a 9.5 on all shoes and a 10 in Norda 001 and 002. The 003 10.5 feels great
Did you go up by half size or full size?
For the 003 I went full size up. I’m a 9.5 in all brands a 10 in Norda 001-002 and a 10.5 in the 003
@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody many thanks how is the shoe holding up for you after several months of use? What is its best use case for you?
Was able to get a pair on a random restock on a friday morning. Absolutely love mine, super comfy/light and responsive. Is there a way to swap the laces from the lock system without cutting them?
Great question I’m not sure.
@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody appreciate the response, consensus from what I've found is they have to be cut. 😞
Kboix -> “k’boysh”
I just pronounce it the way the GOAT taught me!
Do you get used to the narrowness? I just got a pair and man it is narrow. New Balance are best for me. This is my first Hoka. Hope it will be OK. Got it for a good price from third party retailer so can't return/swap for a wide.
Uhh if it feels to narrow it might break in a tiny bit, but not that much. I’d exchange for wide
Any concerns on the integrity of the bottom of the shoe long term with that outsole not being full coverage? Seems like it has potential to have that foam chewed up on rocky surfaces
I’m not seeing any issues and honestly unless your going in some serious mountaineering paths you should be fine
I love my 1080 V 12’s so I just bought a pair of these to see how I like it with longer training runs that I’m not worried about time. I’m certainly not worried about how I look like the previous comment. I’m 54 and have had four knee surgeries and I’m looking for anything I can do to keep these two original knees running on air.. a lot of people talk about them slowing them down but I’m just trying to get two hour and 10 minute half marathons.
I think you will like these a lot.

Great video.. quick question.. how is the sizing
For me it’s good. I went medium and no issues
Can you wear these casually and to the gym?
Oh yea!! I used them for everything when I took them to the beach with the family. Even used them to coach my kids sports team
@ nice . Would you take these , Pegasus 41, or vomero 17? Or what do you think is the best casual shoe?
So which shoe?
@@misterjay4347 i have both sl2 and peg 41 . peg 41 is better for casual wear / walking - it is more stable than sl2 . but i run all the time with my sl2
@ ok 👌 thanks
Great review! I wonder if you can tell me about this size, Normally I wear size 12.5 or 13 (narrow 🦶🏽) so should I stick with my regular size ? Thanks
I’d stick with your normal size. I went with my normal 9.5 that I get in all Hoka and worked wonderful!
Hello cody is this midsole softer plush ???
Not terribly soft. Its that right amount of softness
Whats the weight. Hows the fit
165-170lbs and the fit is good, I have a widish foot and it’s accommodating
Do you think you can use this shoe as a casual/gym shoe?
Absolutely
Excellent review, Cody! ❤ I’ve asked Santa Claus for a pair of v14’s for Christmas and I have my fingers crossed lol. It’s good to know that this iteration is veering more towards daily trainer status. The v13 has been my favourite shoe of the last year. So plush. It makes for a pillow like ride. By the way, the beard game is coming on strong! Keep doing what you do, brother 🙏🏻
Thanks!! I hope Santa takes care of you this year!!
what size is your bandit longsleeve and what are your measurements - thanks!
Medium top and I’m 5’9 160lb. I’m usually a medium in all others brands
@ thank you! I’m about the same, fit looks fantastic
How many millimeters drop on this shoes? And what part of the foot does it specifically support?
6mm drop shoe with a stack of 36-30. What do you mean support?
@ What I meant is, does it focus on arch support or more of a heel support, etc……. Is it made more for a heel striker of a mid-foot striker, those type of specs. And thx for the info btw. Appreciate it.
Can someone tell me if this would be a good shoe for the gym. Like lifting heavy weight.
I probably wouldn’t recommend it for that. Probably better shoes for that at a cheaper cost
Another thing about this shoe is the awful heal slippage. Narrow shoe with heal slippage is so odd
what about the weight? please put it on a scale... :) and please take the insole out and let it show...
Just moved once I find my scale I’ll update
Who test and decide to release shoes without catching such bad heel design
No idea! But the 3 looks like they fixed it
Would this work as a walking / casual shoe?
Yea, I would and I have. They definitely get the job done
I want this shoe so bad
Definitely a shoe tour gonna want!!
Oh hell yeah 1st comment!
Thanks for being the first!
I have both ... I like both ... I definitely use my Glizzy for long runs when I need to remind myself not to speed up. They can both DO everything but the Superblast cannot let me slow down. I lock in on that steady pace and can't seem to slow it down or speed it up (That's a compliment) but the Glizzy I can really shuffle nicely at 9 minute paces. My first run after SB2s I immediately went and bought a second pair. My first run in my Glizzy was 12 miles @ 9 minute pace and I had to stop because I had plans but it was so comfortable. So what I'm saying is probably not helpful. Both are great. Both paired with a racing shoe can make an entire shoe rotation. Great video!
Thanks! Yea, they both can have a place in a rotation. Glad they are working for you and thanks for the video love
Today I use a Hierro 7. For the next sneaker I'm between the Hoka Mafate and the Tomir 2.0. What do you think is the best choice?
Mafate is one of my favorite shoes. I have used it during an ultra and pacing friends at 100 mile races. I like both shoes, but I might give the nod to Mafate.
Thx for being honest. Always appreciated.
Thanks!!
Are these water proof? If I were to purchase the white pair mud can easily come off from it? etc Thanks!
Not water proof and I think it would come off a little but not back to it’s out of the box condition
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Codythank you for the response this was helpful 😁
I beg to differ, I ran 24km on wet roads, pretty much half the time it was raining and the grip was fine. Its not puma or continental rubber but its not slippery by any measure.
Can't wait to wear mine...walking around town HAHA
Haha nice!!
Nice review. Thank you for sharing. ❤️ My pair just got shipped. Can’t wait for its arrival. 🥰
Let me know how you like them!
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody just tried em on. They are way lighter than I expected and the upper feels amazing. Love the quick laces and heel section. Overall great shoes - love the colorway so much too. Amazed!
@ heck yea!!!! Let me know how you like them post run
Just got it online. Please compare to Triumph 20/21. Don't why I bought it. Clifton 6 and 8 are ok. Don't know if 5mm drop is for me, tho. Anxious to get it.
You think this would be a good travel do it all shoe? Debating between this or the craft xplor for traveling, hiking, etc when abroad!
I think it would be a great option! I really like the xplor to, both great picks.
@@The_Shoe_In_With_Cody sweet! thanks!
thanks for review . did u feel any scratch on the heel part during your runs? and what socks do u recommend for running ?
Thankfully no! I have now closer to 20’miles and no issues. I wear stance socks and they are always money
