@@thewatchtowerstudy4511 thank you my friend. You’ll love them I’m sure. I did a 15 mile run with my son at the weekend and we both wore them (he has the plumb colour) and they performed like a dream. Another thing I didn’t mention is that they are easy to clean too. Here in the south of England it’s been wet and wild and the shoes got pretty muddy but cleaned up very easy afterwards.
just bought this last week without any knowledge about the running shoe market. i just looked for a running training shoe because my last one was just given to me by my cousin. been running 4 months now. i just picked this by feel (got the magenta one). tried like 7 different shoe, nothing came close to this. after a week of running with this shoe, bro using this shoe felt like cheating lol. but first few days i was a bit adjusting because not used to this stack height.
I know how you feel about the cheating thing 😂. Glad you are enjoying your running journey and with the superblast 2 you’ve got a pair that will carry you over hundreds of miles. The stack height is quiet something, 45mm is a lot but that FF turbo + is just perfect 👌🏼
Hi Jody. That’s an excellent review, incredibly thorough. I looked at picking up a pair of the Superblast 2’s as I was unsuccessful with the 1’s. Unfortunately the same thing happened again lol. These things are rarer than hen’s teeth! By the way, I’ve now subscribed to your channel and look forward to checking out more of your content. All the best.
Thank you so much and sorry for the delayed response, work is rather busy at the moment. Really appreciate you saying so and I hear you on how difficult it is to get these.. it’s a shame as they are so good.. just keep your eye on ASICS.com and hope for the best. The difficult thing for me is that I seem to be the most popular size in a UK size 10 as well, so these as well as the metaspeed are virtually impossible to get. Have a great evening and thanks for subscribing, means a lot to me 🫡
These shoes are made in a factory near where I live in Vietnam, That’s why I got so lucky to get 2 pairs for only 150 usd each (with discount voucher ) , the retail price in Vietnam is 217 usd also, now all sold out everywhere even in Vietnam. I run this shoes everyday from daily training to half marathon, no issues 👍
Ran over 850km in first pair of SB1 and am now past 300km in my second pair. Also have a pair of SB2 ready and waiting 😊. Used these for a marathon training block earlier this year and then for the marathon in April. However, I find these great for faster runs as well as longer training ones. Surprisingly, I beat my 5k PB in these a few weeks ago (previous PB was using carbon plated Alphafly). Just superb shoes 😊😊😊
Fantastic feedback and great to hear about your amazing experience in these. I’ve done a few longer runs over the weekend and found them a dream again. Amazing to hear too about your 5k experience, that’s crazy! 🫡
Love my SB2s. Definitely agree with you. My only criticism is that it definitely doesn’t pick the pace up quickly. Although it’s definitely a light shoe, that wide (and very stable) landing really locks in the pace at moderate levels. When I do a day in my Hyperion 2s or metaspeeds on race day there’s a notable aggressive feeling. That being said I agree with you that SB2s are the best at that long run trainer. And I’m happy in my bright pink color way 😂
Great feedback Colin, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’ve not seen the pink colourway, or the black that has recently been shown as coming soon. I agree that the Metaspeed feels way more aggressive for sure . Have a great rest of the weekend 🫡
I got this shoes and i’m still feeling it. I only put in 7 miles. I’m not sure when is the breaking point to actually say it’s the best shoes. I ‘ve had the First Gen Superblast and that was a great shoe the moment i put them on and ran in them the very first time.
@@popitn2nd good to hear and thanks for taking the time to comment. For me they felt amazing straight away, but others say they took about 20-40 miles to really feel good. I’m sure in a few runs time they will feel brilliant for you 💪
Thanks my friend. I personally don’t have enough experience in the novablast 4 but from what I’ve seen from other reviewers is that it’s capable of a HM yes. It won’t give you the propulsion of a bunch of the other racing shoes but it’s comfortable and well built 👍
Great review, all i wanted to hear in one video. I can't find it anywhere near me to try the size. i'm a Nike fan so the invicible 3 is in my list. For someone who struggles to find a long distance with a wide fit , I found these great in the toe box but at 20km started to feel extreme soreness on the outside of the mid foot. Seems to have quite a transition up the sidewall .

You have to be careful because of the atomknit but if you get mud on them use a wet wipe and or a very soft toothbrush. I’d certainly recommend only wearing these on the road and in dry conditions where you can avoid mud entirely, but it you get them dirty that should do the trick.
