The LC500 is my attainable dream car, the interior is just on another level to anything else I have seen. Great video, and also no one ever says anything but love your new Speedmaster too!
Same too bro, the LC500 is my attainable dream car. It's stunning inside and out, has stellar build quality, tons of power, sounds great, and you know it'll be reliable. That tan interior is simply fantastic.
The first time I've ever seen this car, was when I was on a vacation trip in Key West, FL. I was walking on Duval street with my wife, beautiful sunny day, blue sky, was enjoying every moment of it, and right when I thought that this day couldn't get any better, this old couple pulled on the side of the curb right in front of me with this convertible, Red color, with the exact same interior... I had never seen or heard about this car (And I'm a car enthusiast)... I remember freezing in my spot as I watched that old gentlemen parking the car, and I was speechless and wondering "What is this car???", and just by looking at the form of the car from the side, before looking at any badge, I guessed that it looked like a LEXUS personality, and then I spotted the LEXUS logo on the steering wheel, I moved to the back and looked at that LC500 badge, and that "500" gave away that this had a serious V8 under that hood... and I was just mad in love. The couple left their car, unlocked with the roof opened, and entered a shop. And I just circled around that car for a solid 5min just admiring every detail in and out, searched about it online, to discover that it had just came out, and saw the price, and to my dismay, found out that only old couples can afford this beauty. What a sight that was. Absolute beauty! I still remember that moment so vividly, like if it was yesterday.
My realistic dream car. I will own one some day. Great to have a quality vehicle that sounds great, drives nice and dead reliable. Perfect daily driver
The first time I even saw this car was on the freeway, in a metallic black cherry red. It’s a heck of a head turner compared to the Benzs, Aston Martins, Jaguars, and Bentleys imo.
Amazing sweet orange candy color, particularly the suede interiors. The taillights are a bit overdone, recognizable from a mile. Beauty inside and out, the engine bay is a piece of art :). And your soothing review-voice quality enhances the likeness of the overall car. Well done!
The 2024 MY has a few tweaks here and there but noticeably, it now comes with an updated infotainment system... FUGLY big screen replacing that so elegantly hidden screen in the dashboard. The original dashboard was sooo bloody exclusive but the new one with the tablet like screen makes it loose something.
I really appreciate the efforts Lexus put into this car. For me, this is far better than all those German luxury brands that you see everywhere nowadays.
An LC500 would be my dream daily car. Luxury and reliable. I’ll keep the maintenance and tinkering for my weekend and track cars. Hence why I don’t want BMW’s and Mercedes’ luxury offerings. Sounds good, can get out of its own way, and just so beautiful.
@@Nigel__ do it, you know youre gonna get bored of that mustang lol. And although services might be more expensive on the lexus...its a lexus, no doubt itll live longer than your stang and much more reliably
I saw one of these on the road one day in the green color Lexus offers this car in, with bronze Vossen rims. Fell in love with the beauty of the car, I've never seen a car look that good before.
I used to dislike that interior color in vehicles and now I just drool to it. Best interior I've ever seen especially with those colors. Same as my reatta
The LCF seems to be cancelled but roomers say there is going to be a LFA ll with a 660hp Twin-Turbo V8 instead (@Kirk Kreifels)..! The LC 500 still is a masterpiece of a car!
I think the moment they improve the entrainment system of the lc 500, make it up to date and improve the handling. Nothing will stop this car. Or we all wait and wish to drive a new LFA
Goodness how things have changed. Beautiful car. Still not keen on Lexus's break from their traditional front end to what we see here but at 90 some odd thousand dollars I'll keep my 01 ES300!
Nobody can really appreciate this car until they've owned what's called a "supercar". Once you've had the misfortune of owning an Aston-Martin, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini or one of the other ridiculous cars, you will really appreciate the LC-500 for what it is. It's simply like no other car on the market. The dopes who buy supercars think they live in a world that the rest of us don't. They are of the belief that the public roads are race tracks for their pleasure and in their imagination they are the macho race car driver zooming around like it's the 24 Hours of LeMans out there. So, what happens with dopes is they buy a ridiculous car that really isn't meant to be driven every day on the street to get them from Point A to Point B. They don't take into consideration the crowded roads and the inept drivers in their Prius'. They shell out a few hundred thousands bucks, drive their fantasy car for a year or so and put 2000 miles on the odometer. In that year, they get about two minutes of "fun" stomping on the gas and the rest of the time, they realize what a foolish mistake they've made. Doubt me??? Look at any place that sells these cars. They are a year or two old and have 2000 miles on them and are listed at 50% original price. If the dope who bought the car in the first place was lucky, they avoided a major repair bill. All these cars are junk except the LC-500. I really don't care if anyone believes me or not. Been there. Done that. If you're lucky enough and bright enough to have selected an LC-500 as your car of choice, that's about as good as it gets. Don't listen to ANY of these reviewers. Once you buy the car...READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL THREE TIMES AND LEARN ALL ABOUT THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. Once you do that, you'll come to the realization that this car is as close to perfect as there is. And, if you're stupid enough to think 471 horsepower isn't enough, you're insane. These are not race cars. They are built for everyday driving. The only thing that will happen to you when you own a car with 600 h.p.or more is you'll die young. Enjoy the car. Drive it every single day. Consider yourself very fortunate.
There’s some amazing engines out there but I think this is might be my favorite, second maybe to the Maserati V8. The character and music are simply unbeatable. And as long as gasoline is still around it will run for ages.
@TheTopher, so you have driven the LC500, RC-F, RC-F Track Edition, G80 M4 manual and even the IS500. Let's say you had 60-100 to play with, what would you choose and what would be the main decision driver?
Such a beautiful car but Alas i can only afford the lowly RC350 . Still enjoy it though. I did add an Invidia Quad Exhaust though so it sounds pretty nice.
@@TheTopher they wouldn't do an lcf it's point less in doing so the lc500 is already not selling that much and the price tag for a lcf would probably be close to procsha gt3 territory, at that point why buy the lcf
Appreciate the review. The car is beautiful. As for the trackpad, no ADULT who owns an LC 500 uses the trackpad very much. ADULTS read the OWNER'S MANUAL and learn about VOICE COMMAND. Then, the first thing they do is run MENU/SETUP and select all their default personal preferences which takes care of 95% of EVERYTHING. Using VOICE COMMAND, they simply press a button on the left side of the steering wheel, wait for the BEEP and then TELL THE CAR WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. No trackpad involved! For instance: "press button, say "radio", say "AM 760" and the radio goes to that station. Or, press button, "say FIND, say PIZZAHUT and you get several choices, say the CHOICE NUMBER" and your GPS will guide you there. So, maybe in the future this reviewer will take 30 minutes and become familiar with the Owner's Manual so he doesn't relay false information to his audience? These are the best cars produced today but...isn't it nice to have a choice??? If you haven't mastered the skill of reading, you can watch this video. ua-cam.com/video/iVWEexEgSLg/v-deo.html ... It will explain all about the infotainment and VOICE COMMAND and once you do this, you will be thrilled with the infotainment system because you almost never have to use the TRACKPAD.
