In fairness, the cellular reception along that part of the coast is either spotty or nonexistent. Paper maps might be more reliable in this particular case :)

Dealer near me keeps telling me they can see me in the LC , my wallet can only see me in the RC though sadly lol. Not complaining though. I love my RC. She is in her 6th year now and runs like new.

@@jimmy22334 used hard-tops a few years old, the convertibles just came out this year. They will eventually depreciate, but Lexus only expects to build ~200 a year. This car may end up to be very rare.

I had a 1984 Toyota Celica GT(Grandfather to this car), after school, I used to drive down to Big Sur to Pfeiffer State beach. Did not know how special the drive was until I moved to the big city. Oh, the great memory I have of Monterey Peninsula.

i used to live in central cali on the coast in san luis obispo. absolutely without a doubt the best city in cali for its location, peaceful vibes, and small population. i know someday its going to blow up and it will be sad when it does, but that place is amazing
@@naveenthemachine - Even an RC-based Supra would be acceptable. The RC is pretty heavy, but so was the SC300 platform upon which the A80 was based off of.

They didn’t bring back the Supra to be a big money maker anyway, so why not bring it back the right way? Even at ~$50k, no one is buying them. So, Toyota, not only have you’ve lost money but you’ve irritated your fan base in the process. Not the approach I would have taken.
Great video and really captures the beauty of Cali and sound of LC500. I just came back from vacay in LA and drove Highway 1 up to Malibu in Mustang convertible - really unbelievable experience. Planning to go to Monterey later this year or next.

I don’t usually go for Lexus, I’m more of a Dodge fan… but I have to say that the Interior of that car has grown on me after seeing your other video on this (back in Michigan maybe? Another wonderful job. I have had mine since November and it is a hoot to drive. The scenery in Chicagoland is not in the same league as what you just experienced but the car is amazing with the top down on a sunny day.
Un-interestingly, my V6 es subtlety sounds same with panorama roof being opened, subjectively speaking, not to take away from this absolute marvel masterpiece.

Got mine from the private seller. An old lady moving from Ca to MT. brand new 2021. Only 8k. There are some finds like that if you are patient
