- I was conducting a 1st Amendment Audit at the Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey when I was approached by Port Authority, TSA. They were quickly educated and I proceeded through the airport once I got to another terminal things took a turn for the worse. United Airline Supervisor James started to escalate and try and impose his “authority” over me. He was quickly shut down and Port Authority Police Officers Cooke (1513) & Benavides (2815) honored their oath and stood up for our rights!

They need to rename that airport. The “Feelings” Airport. They really tried to do away with liberty.
After following this for about a week now I'm realizing more and more how this process is truly educational. Not without some drama and angst. It is really about teaching people to respect the rights of others in public. People live most of their lives in private doing as they please and controlling their own personal domains. then forget to tolerate the rights of others out in public. Learning their is no expectation of privacy in public areas is a major point. People tend to exert their social controll over others as their form of perceived power or status over others. For them to learn that they can't pull that over just anyone must be disconcerting for them.

@D. he didn't OD on fentanyl, you racist bootlicker. the amounts discovered where considered "below trace volumes in total" aka it barely even registered in testing. the volume needed to suppress breathing and kill is in the milligram scale for it being in the blood, the volume was measured in picograms (2nd order lower the milligrams) and was measured several decimal places back ( ie: 0.00xx pg value).
@Fentanyl Floyd can you just not be racist in your comments and have a civil discussion?
i was looking at the wrong panel other shit they traced out and volumes are stupidly low. but yes, 11ng/ml is correct. 11ng/ml is considered "high" but also far from fatal (fatal limit is 2mg which is actually not as toxic as i thought). also the volume detected may have came from a painkillers since the chemical detected was "1-phenethyl-4-N-
propionylanilinopiperidine " which isnt the typical street level shit, its pharmaceutical grade. the cheap crap that's killing people is cut with other toxic shit which changes the compound into a more lethal variant. never do street level shit.. this also highlights another issue, opioid crisis caused by these overwhelmingly large pharmaceutical companies promoting their drugs for everything and getting people hooked.

The whole ‘credential’ argument is still baffling to me. We’ve all grown up on TV and thinking that’s a law.
That's real shit. People are definitely confusing TV with reality. Going around saying bogus things like "this is a government facility, so there's no recording". Like who said that?
Yeah TV is a great "educator" for a lot of people. 🤣
This credentials thing does exist in some jurisdictions. However, it is not like a doctor's licence; without it you may not practice medicine. It allows the press easier access to certain places at certain times - kind of a way to bypass certain time and space restrictions, such as crossing police and fire lines to cover a story and allowing a news broadcast van to park in no parking zone. Really, they're more of a pass than a credential. Another example is White House reporters are issued credentials to gain access to the press briefing room, to fly with the press corps accompanying the president, etc. The Supreme Court issues them too: _'... the Court’s press credentialing process, which includes
issuing hard passes (full-time credentials) and day passes. Although a hard pass may not be
essential for reporting on the Court, it confers privileges that journalists find helpful, including
access to seats in the Courtroom during Court sessions; use of the pressroom facilities and office
resources; assigned personal work space; and access to the Court building after normal business
hours.'_ We see that these passes offer privileges, but a journalist may find s/he doesn't need these privileges to gather info and report. Credentials are not required generally, there is no agency that issues credentials nationally, and a journalist may not be prevented performing his/her job without it.
I still think auditors ought to get a business-card sized piece of paper and with crayon write Press Credential on it. Present it when challenged. Mostly to witness the bafflement on the LE's face.
@@depletable these are Biden voters. They are plugged in the TV like mindless drones.
theres an actual reason that American journalists are not credentialed. who would do that? the people who control the credentials counld control the press. In Americas we dont do that for a reason. Except they'll list an illegal or ill informed policy and the cop will still blindly enforce it.
The several Port Authority were violating your 1st Amendment Right of free press by demanding that the auditors stop video recording. This constitutes a infringement of the right to gather and disseminate news and the courts use a Strict Scrutiny Standard to determine if the state actors committed a violation of the U.S. Constitution, if challenged in by a lawsuit. The one Port Authority Police Officer was honorable because he ensured that the rights of the auditors were protected.
Municipal, county and state law enforcement are not authorized to enforce federal laws. Only the FBI Investigators, not agents, can enforce federal laws.

You must understand the difference between the constitutional right and government permission. You brought that lawsuit all the way and made legal precedent. I keep telling Long Island audit that the government doesn't allow him to take photos, to the contrary oh, he is not prohibited by the government. Too often I hear orders telling police and government workers that they're allowed to film which signifies to these people that somebody in the government gave them permission, when nobody gives them permission. All you have to do is read the law and it says that they cannot be prohibited. This means that what they're doing is a right that the government cannot interfere nor prohibit. None of these laws give you permission to do something. Why can't these people understand this and when I say these people I'm talking about orders who invariably always tell the police or some government official the wrong information. One word: entitled.
You opened my eyes with this one.
I remember to have taken a picture of a plane, outside the window within an airport. Suddenly a lady staff came up and yelling to me, IT WAS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES!! I was puzzled as her being so rude. I wasn‘t able to establish a reasonable conversation with her, as she seemed to be completely fucked up in her mind. Until another staff arrived, who stood by her and refused to think, that yelling was anything bad. At this moment I honestly thought they were mentally ill.
Clearly they weren't raised right, and had an impulse control deficit to top it off.
It's amazing the chaos that erupts because of a camera, but the TSA or port authority probably has a minimum of 20 cameras in the area you guys where in.
Haha, yes. Very good point.
Yeah, but the airport cameras are controlled by these extremely polite and well-trained security professionals. They're just humbly serving the public and wouldn't dream of doing anything illegal or untoward. We can't have any old untrained, unlicensed peasant walking around, filming whatever they want in public!
@@KD-cj3ji your probably right!!!
18 U.S. Code § 2511 - Interception and disclosure of wire, oral, or electronic communications prohibited
@@KD-cj3ji the airports I've been in they have cameras in the floors and walls, you say 100, I'd say it's more like 1000.
Benavidas has a nice future in legitimate law enforcement. Public servant. What an array of reactions! Good stuff
Awesome! Just another great video!!! Thank you for the work you do and fighting for our rights!!! Kudos to the officer who de-escalated and set them straight.
Cops:"These damn citizens and their constitution."
Officer Cook, "What you want and what can be done is not the same thing" I bet hes not used to hearing that often in todays crazy world. Good for you Officer Cook!
"They are the content!"... tht just cracked me up LOL
Feelings enforcement officers are extremely emotional. 😭
Citizens need to start and fund a constitutional class. Every cop we encounter we need to hand them a pamphlet and encourage them to attend
I LOVE LOVE LOVE HOW THAT COP HANDLED THE "supervisor" Its obvious that the police officer has had training and that he takes his oath seriously. Thank you officer for acting the way every cop in our country should.
I always wonder if they believe there is a government Office of Press Credentials.
I do think the other guy with a, very intimidating mask, would you like it i wouldn't. But the rest it of it was as sooo, good. You make me feel excited, I'm 70 and don't get that thrill very often thanks my friend.
James's problem is that "he can't get his Own way". Childish Authority figures in action.
James was taught a harsh/humiliating lesson about the uselessness of his/her authority.
@@interestedparty00 Certainly came across as a whiny child that didn't get his way...
His boss was a wreck as well it was a shame. She obviously would have thrown out the complaint anyway

Awesome audit. I love the way you keep your composure in almost everyone of your audits! The police should learn from you!
And other Auditors should learn from Long Island Auditor.

“Whoa whoa whoa you’re not my supervisor” 🤣
Nicely done. Your ruling the room. Take care my friend. Love your work. Keep that edge.
Lol I love how the officer WALKS over to your personal space and yells, "I Like my personal space sir." LMAO
That officer was on a ego trip and hated being proven wrong
I went back and watched it again and LIA literally backs up when he walks over to him. 😆
@@Niles-Guy He was desperate to assert his authority over LIA when he couldn't do it with the law he tried the personal space BS but hey guess what another epic fail!
he didn't know if he wanted to be mad or what
Protect and serve, baybeeeee
Mr. Reyes, I've only recently come across your channel and I gotta commend you, man, you've got some guts, man, thank you for everything you are doing. The whole thing I find funny about us human beings and cameras is that we live in an age now where cameras are EVERYWHERE! We are all being recorded, somewhere, sometime, somehow or at some point, every day of our lives, from the moment we step out of our homes, right up until whatever time we return. So many of us are being recorded that each and every one of us, individually, becomes insignificant in the bigger scheme of things, unless we are recorded doing something nefariously significant, or we are being recorded in places we are not supposed to be. Each and every one of us becomes a nobody among a sea of nobodies and if all these TSA/security/law enforcement/municpal agents would understand that and just keep their lives or daily activities moving right along, they would be just fine. Instead, they come up with all this contrived outrage at being recorded, make a scene and make themselves become the embarrassed subject of an embarrassing situation. They really make themselves look very stupid.
Amazing when" lawmakers" dont know their own tsa laws😅😅😅😅
Thank you for the tour of the unimpressive airport terminal and for the masterclass on how to keep your cool no matter how hot the situation gets. 😉
Educating one airport at a time. Enjoyed!
How is it that they don't get the notion that the story is about their behaviour? 🤔 Ego, self importance, power tripping?
Great work 👍
Agreed.
The story is also about some know-it-all auditors who love to get in arguments for no real reason.
@@OlYables no real reason? What about the simplest reason because it's the law!
Rosa Parks sat for no real reason either going by your statement.
@@tomsteel3246 so you're equating black Americans being systemically mistreated by the government and society as a whole to the same "mistreatment" experienced by auditors in these idiotic videos? Auditors are the same as civil rights heroes to you? Please check back in with reality.
@@OlYables no, it's a question of rights. Rosa exercised her rights, just as the auditor does.
