CITY HALL EMPLOYEES CALL THE POLICE ON JOURNALIST DOESN'T END THE WAY THEY THINK | 1A AUDIT

- Fellow Patriots, I was peacefully exercising my First Amendment Right at City Hall in Bayonne, NJ. This audit definitely started off a little rough and the police were called, but thankfully these officers seemed to honor their oath to the United States Constitution! They definitely deserve some credit for that because as we’ve seen time and time again there are many tyrants out there who want to take away your freedom. I also had a good chat with Major from the Mayors Office who showed me the city he was proud of! Let me now what you think in the comment section! Please be sure to hit the like button, it truly helps and I appreciate it!

Apparently it's always abnormal when a law abiding citizen wants to peacefully exercise their rights. What a shame. Maybe one day they will learn.

Because "we" have stopped exercising them out of fear, conformity, idiocy, lunacy, or wannabe authoritarians like you see in city halls. What you do is actually way more important than you even imagine. The power of just one of your videos is enough to change the country. Enough to get others to do the same. Hypothetically, if at least 10% of us did stuff like this regularly, we would be much more free than we are now. Because the "tone" of our rights would be stiff and firm. Anyone who pushed too hard against our rights would regret it for decades, rather than casually moving on with life despite committing unconstitutional acts.
I definitely admire your courage is that something you can teach cuz I would be scared and nervous so I most definitely appreciate what you do but most importantly how you do it stay blessed brother
Great interaction, keep it up
Do you understand the definition of normal....? Next time they say normal..lol. .great attitude tords the world man great content
Great audit again. You ought to use the name Blaine Tiff.
Re normal, there are plenty of things that are not 'the norm'. Little people, people in wheelchairs, and people with green hair to name a few. People wearing masks in public certainly changed from abnormal to normal in a blink of an eye. Are City Hall employees calling police anytime one of the aforementioned seek access to services at City Hall? I betcha calling police about them is not normal. And the police department despatching officers to investigate these abnormal occurrences is also not normal. So, why it is the camera that gets the response?
The pride that Major had for his city was heartwarming.
That guy should run for mayor, he is for the people.
S/O to Major. You can tell he’s proud of where he’s from.
Shut up he was in damage control after slandering Shaun he is a rat
Everybody thinks they are boss.
:
By time shaun had been taken on a whirlwind tour by a frantic man he was outside on the sidewalk before he knew what was happening
The city clerk acts like she OWNS the building. Geez.
Tickle britches
Yelling for that sign in sheet was rude.
I like that he says he's Ben Franklin. It's a crime to give false identity to law enforcement, but not to a secretary 😂👍
She thinks she's IMPORTANT. You can tell by the way she stomps down the halls.
@@oldbroad7672 Yep, she likes to make her presence known to everyone within earshot!
Dude, I'm a 40 year old guy who rarely gets emotional enough to even tear up, but something about Major's embarrassment about possibly being misheard, his kindness and pure love, passion, and pride for his city and desire to show it off had me tearing up for real. What an awesome old man.
Some people are commenting in a cynical way about Major, but I perceive him to be authentic, and am moved by his pride in the local veterans and his city's engagement with them.
He is a patriot
He is a glimpse of hope for the future
2 years later and we are still talking about Major. He deserves it. Every mumicipality needs a Major.
Major is a great man. You can tell he felt hurt when Sean accused him of defaming his character.
No I think he realised Sean was an auditor and fake his ass as a nice mayor
But that's exactly what makes two great gentlemen. Solving a misunderstanding respectfully and then having a great conversation that also allowed us to learn a lot about the city.
@@terimorris6394 Major isn’t the mayor. Did you watch the video?
@@terimorris6394 It doesn't matter if he faked, what mattered is what he actually did. I don't see anything wrong if there's show of respect both ways
@@st3ppenwolf lies aren't very respectful, really
Major, we need more public servants like you.
Pride in his city!
I thought Major was gonna be a jerk but he turned out to be the most awesome guy. I can tell he’s a huge asset to this city.
Absolutely, whatever the amount, i can assuredly tell you he does not get paid enough! Thankyou Major!
I got chills when the Major showed you the wall of Veterans. Man, I love that dude and thank you Sean for allowing him to take you to show it to you. You are the best and the Major is a perfect example on how a City employee should act towards the public.
I got chills when he said
" I love it I love it I love it".
The POLICE OFFICER WITH A CAMERA ON HIS CHEST is trying to explain that it's not normal for someone to walk around with a camera. The IRONY of that statement is off the charts.
"It's not normal to walk around filming" -said the cop with a body cam
😂😂😂
They attack auditors for recording tags and looking in cars.
ACTUALLY... He said it wasn't normal for random citizens to be walking around city halls filming. Which, to be fair, he is not wrong. Precisely why LIA provides the service that he does and clearly articulated his hopes to change that stigma around cameras.
Why do you have to be such a smart ass? He obviously means holding a camera out with your hands while you walk around. If it's on your body it's obviously less weird. And he's at a cop in uniform at work, which makes it even less weird.
@@rizekitty1484 LOL "provides the service that he does" - yeah, the service of entertaining us on UA-cam.
Stays calm and respectful, but strongly holds his ground, and knows the law. Best auditor by far.
Thanks bro!
👍 agreed
100% very enjoyable to watch no cussing people up. you are top tier
Hes incredible..but you can't just disregard Amagansett Press...
My fave too. There's several "auditors" I can't even watch because they taunt and throw names at very professional officers. I can't abide that behavior. If we want our government to be held accountable then we should recognize the good officials, too. Long Island Audit is the most professional auditor by far.
What a lovely gentleman Major is! Loved watching him be proud and showing off his town. ❤️
Kudos to the Major for his pride in his community 👏 We need more ambassadors like this. Great video Sean !
How ironic that Major is showing the wall of veterans off to Sean yet most of these public buildings take away the rights of the people that these vets fought and died for. Another great audit Sean and Major did so well representing his town.
It shows that he understands
Kudos to Major he was professional and courteous
The guy at the end is astounding and should def get a pat on the back for how he represented himself and his city.
Mr. Major's enthusiasm is contagious! Every mayor needs people like him on staff.
This is a great audit, everyone was cool and friendly 👍

Thanks BEN FRANKLIN😉

That gentleman, Major, is a smart man - turning things around, showing off the good side of his town!
Major you are awesome. You brought a tear to my eye .Thanks for your City in honoring our Veterans. We the People
What a shame that youve never had a public official take you around and help you get footage.
Great job mr major. A credit to your city, and a credit to your mayor.
That guy that led the tour was actually really cool, you can tell he loves his city. We should see more people that have a passion for what they do.
Yeah I've seen "security" try to do the tour but the way Major did it was so inviting...
people like that should be the MAYOR, not the mayors assistant
So refreshing to see a man like Major. Who wants to share and be proud of his city, while fully respecting your rights. All interactions should go like that at any government building.
@Rights On 🇺🇲 So what if he was, he treated Sean with respect. You need to give credit where credit is do. Now as far as how he treats others idk. But if the worse part was saying something to the other cops I can deal with that, compared to other encounters Sean has had . Where they were total idiots and violated his rights !
One of my favorite vids from you. So balanced and open. “Major” was a true ambassador to his town. It’s always the old dogs who have the best stories and no fear.
As of today 209,000 people saw what great people serve Bayonne, NJ.
I thought Bayonne was some dirty, gritty North Jersey city. After listening to Major, I think I want to move there. Everyone else was pretty nice as well.
This is the way a public building should be. These people have nothing to hide, and in fact, have lot to brag about.
Congratulations Bayonne!
(Edited to correct big finger typing errors)
And now, 420k have seen the video.
Major should run for mayor. That is the type of person who would get things done because he loves his town.
Sean, you’re one of my favorite auditors. I always get excited when you post a new video. You give respect and demand respect by being stern, patient, wise and peaceful. I know for a fact you’re making a change around the country and I thank you. God bless!
Mayor Major sounds like a good fit
Exactly 🙌
As a disabled vet i was so extremely touched by thier wall and the pride they have in thier community i made a call to the mayors office to congratulate and thank them!
Thanks for your service and everything you gave to us Gary, I truly mean that.
Thanks for your Service. :)

@Gary Krider Thank you for your heroic services Gary! Sorry for your struggles with your disability, I sure hope you are getting all the help and assistance needed. Again, thank you for your courageous acts of honor sir!
I am an abled veteran. I want a parade, too.
Major is a huge asset to his community! He has my respect!
I was born and raised in Bayonne and I watch a lot of the Long Island Audits videos. So proud of my hometown and Major showing respect and being cordial! It takes so much more energy to be confrontational and arrogant when in a position of authority. Great job setting the example for how it should be done! BRAVO!!
Same here. Major was awesome. Just sent an e-mail to the Mayor's office commending Major.
Major is a absolute stud!!! He realized why you where there and took over and put on for his city!!! Love the videos Sean ..Keep them coming
You gay bro?
Yes, these are great audits!
Major is definitely an asset to the mayor's office and city hall there. I love how he turned Sean's visit into a promotional video for the city of Bayonne, NJ! Although, I don't think the sergeant was a fan of Sean at all. At least he kept his mouth closed. Excellent audit!
Major was a great ambassador of the city hall, such a warm welcome and he was nothing but courteous and professional!
Fantastic to see someone with a real passion for the Town they live and work in. Would be great to see more people like him.
My favorite audit ever. This is how they should all be. Show off your city, don’t treat cameras as enemy.
Poor Deirdre, completely lost in her duties. Trying to be the buildings mother.
Major on the other hand. Great work. True asset to the community.
I think she was genuinely trying to be helpful.
Love how major acted. That's a man who is proud of his city and understands how things are supposed to be. So great to see a city doing great things
The presumed authority this Diedre woman has is unbelievable.
Damn, if only every city mayor's office employee would be like Major there! Man's passionate about his work, his city and his veterans. Awesome dude!
That must be one of the best audits you’ve ever done Sean , major seemed very proud of his city , it’s just a shame others don’t .
Big ups to Major! The cranky people videos can get old, but I always love the guys like him that support what you're doing... I know you don't get to choose who you run into, but it's always great when you encounter amiable people like himself
Props to major and for Sean going with him to see the sights. I've never seen an audit take that turn and it was amazing
Good job by Major. I hope more public servants are as welcoming and cordial to law abiding citizens.
Great audit Sean, the major what a sensible kind educated guy! Let’s hope we get more like him...peace.
He seemed authentically proud of the Soldiers pictures and the family's abilities to find them, that was very nice to see, made my heart happy. The lives laid down for our freedoms for hundreds of years is why honoring the integrity of our rights is important to me.

actually watched this one 3 times back to back, the pride that that guy has of his city is superb! really heartwarming and this is what you would (or even should) see in most of the visits.
You know I think you got outsmarted by Mr Major, instead of complaining about a camera he took the opportunity to promote his city and the employees. This is how you should act as a city official who is in front of a camera, great job sir!
Major brought a tear to my eye, with his pride of his city and his good will towards you, Sean.
I'm glad that shaking hands is still considered an act of goodwill and respect. We have strayed a bit with the 21st century and everything that goes with it.. Major is a good man.
Major should be proud of himself. What a great man. This is how all city employees should act!
This was a dope audit. Conflict isn’t the only good content so thanks for posting this!
Major gets it…..proud of his city, and pro active in making it shine
I loved this audit, that guy at the end was amazing, why can't more people act like this. His demeanor and everything perfect. Amazing job Major, keep that smile man.
you can see the effort someone put into making every individual portrait line up straight the WHOLE way down, really wholesome stuff..
You really are the best LIA. The way you navigated the convo with Major was was top notch. Called him out but humbled yourself "if I mischaracterized" what you heard.
Your work is starting to pay off. Those 1st police officers must have seen a audit video or two. It's like he knew to say, "You're free to go at any time". This is why polite and respectful auditors are the best way to create change. And Major was very nice and inviting once you confronted him. He didn't double down on trying to be right. Love that guy. A great example of a city employee knowing that he's a PUBLIC servant. Please highlight him.
Thanks for your awesome service, Sean
Refreshing to see someone like Major so proud of his city, that he has to show it off. Most importantly it reflected in the police’s attitude.
Great interaction and representation by Major. I really appreciate when someone takes that much pride in his position and wants to shine for his town, and does not infringe on the rights of the people. Well done Major.
If only they could all be like this. What a great little cozy town with wonderful people. Many other cities, towns, and communities could learn a lot from this example. Thanks for restoring a glimmer of hope for humanity, Sean Paul.

That guy being so proud of where he is from is so awesome and I wish more people were like that now and days. No body ever really shows pride for their state, city, town, etc. With that gentleman you can see the pride of his community shinning threw his eyes and words as he spoke about where he's from. I personally feel that about where I'm from as well. Keep up the good work Sean. Love the video.
Major was great. I wish more people in public service were like him. Great audit as always, LIA.
This man is really making a change! I hope your doing well Sean.
Thank you 🙏
Who's Sean that's Ben Franklin
Yes he is
Changing what, exactly? How these buildings handle an auditor? Because that's all these videos show. He's not actually "audit" how these people do their jobs for the city or county or whatever. I guess he wasn't asked to leave or manhandled by security, so that's that pass for them. But I'm not sure ultimately what that proves. 99.99% of people who use this building aren't conducting audits so this really is only relevant to LIA.
@@OlYables what I gather is you have to baby step these people so in that respect he is doing it. The other option is guns blazing but I don't think anyone wants that. These so called officials act like children so you have to treat em as such
Sean, I just retired last year after 20 years of active duty Air Force. I appreciate what you do. Keep up the good fight!
Every city needs a man like this to represent their city.
Major was most informative and cooperative and a credit to his city.
To the City Hall in Bayonne, NJ: Damn good job. Maybe not perfect but we aren't looking for perfection (at least I'm not). I think this is the most positive audit I have watched of LIAs and it's a breath of fresh air. I've watched every one of LIA's videos and sadly it has made me feel that none of us understand what our freedoms and rights are, but more importantly our government seems to not understand. You have made my day a little better now that I can see there's still hope.
To Major: You are a treasure and I have nothing but utmost respect for you. Your city should be proud to have you. We should all be more like Major.
To the Bayonne, NJ police: I have to say it....good job. We have seen nothing but abuse and mistreatment towards LIA in most of his videos. You guys did not do that at all and I thank you for it. This may not mean much coming from someone random, but if all police acted like you the divide between police and citizens wouldn't be like it is today. Again, not perfect but I couldn't care less about perfection. You did just fine and I want to thank you for that. I have held nothing but contempt for police for many years, but you may have just moved me a bit. Damn good job.
what a great point, I too am not perfect and therefore don't expect it in others, I do though expect public officials to do their jobs in a professional manner. I like to think I'm respectful and courteous to others so I expect the same back
I agree! One of LIA's videos that impressed me was one where law enforcement officers were preventing him from recording in a public building.
As events unfolded, and through quite civil interactions, LIA was allowed to record.
Instead of humiliating and demeaning the officers, LIA was gracious and made every attempt to allow the officers to leave honorably.
Quite a refreshing contrast to the approach used by most other "cop-hater" auditors on UA-cam.
"breath of fresh air" were the words that came to my mind. Nice to see some of your officials viewing you "the people" as people.
Liverpool UK.
Great reply. I totally agree. Wish I wrote it.
@Rights On 🇺🇲 It took longer than I expected for someone to try and remove any positivity that can be found. I mean, this is youtube comments so it's expected unfortunately.
I read your comment and then I thought about it for an hour. I can easily put myself in your shoes because I also hold a lot of anger towards the police. I teach my kids to never ever talk to the police because I do believe they are an enemy of the people. Not the individuals of course, but rather the culture in it's entirety. What I'm saying is I didn't watch this video hoping to see something good, but rather I was looking for the problems. You and I started from the same position but ended differently.
I assumed what you have stated as fact to be factual and I assumed that Major's intentions were deceptive (as if you can say one way or another). Even with all that on your side I still say your argument is trash. What if Major really was talking bad about Sean behind his back and got caught? Are you telling me A COP decided to pretend nice, talk with Sean peacefully, walk around the building while explaining what the city has to offer, and not copsplain? Bullshit. I've never seen a cop not double down because that's exactly what they are trained to do. They don't do damage control. But again I will give you that. Fine, Major was just blowing smoke up Sean's ass to make the city look good. What the fuck more could you possibly want? Should Major have got on his knees and started choking on Sean's cock? Jesus fuck me christ could Major have done anything at all to make you happy? He didn't tell Sean he couldn't do what he was doing, he wanted to show off the veteran wall, and walked Sean around like a personal tour. Cop or not he did his fucking job well.
You state that all those people acted that way because of the culture in that city hall. Ok....great. I see no issue with that. No one tried kicking him out, a couple people were kinda cunty but still did nothing wrong, and for the most part it was a positive experience AS SEAN STATED HIMSELF. But then you just had to start in on that reality TV bullshit and suggest somehow being a Democrat (again I'm assuming you are correct but I'll probably regret that) surely means they are evil lizards eating babies and hating america. OK ok I added that part about the lizards and stuff, but seriously stop drinking the kool aid dude. That shit is a cancer. Neither side hates america, it's just people with different opinions and has nothing to do with this video. The fact that you added it in should prove how cancerous your thinking is, and completely demolishes your credibility.
Lastly, you ask your readers to listen to what Capt. Major said to his cops, yet you don't spell out what he said. I ask that you do. Please tell us what he said. I'm struggling to hear what you hear. Again, I'll assume he said Sean's a piece of dogshit who is just trying to stir up trouble (I'm trying to give you lots of rope here). Major still didn't direct anyone to do any harm to Sean in any way. You state that he walked him out of the building, yet Sean walks right back in after the tour. We don't see whether they walked in together, but even so Sean walked right back in. You think Major just gave up and walked away because Sean was just too smart for him? You are adding things in that you think or want to happen but didn't actually occur in the video.
If Major is a cop then good. We need more like him. I don't give a fuck what he personally believes or says, I only care what his actions are. His actions were fine and I commend him for it.
Major was awesome!! If everyone acted like he did, there would be no issues! If I am every in Bayonne, I would love to get a tour with Major and buy him dinner & drinks!! Great guy!
This was very refreshing. It was good to see city officials, police, and administrators acting with respect and professionalism. I was impressed. 👍
Major was awesome! He was passionate about his city & what they're doing to improve things, and he seems like a genuinely cool dude. This world needs more people like him.
Wow Major was a amazing what a good employee.Great work Sean stay safe
Government employees /public servants truly think of us as cattle an sheep when in fact they work for us. This needs to change.
They all represented their city in a positive light. I was really impressed that this city chose to remember every serviceman who served their country.
While the fails are always shocking and hard to look away from, this pass was a welcome breath of fresh air. It was a great reminder of the way things used to be in a lot more places around our world. Great job as always. And a salute to Major for being an honorable ambassador for his City Hall and a shining example of public service.
100% This is where I hope we are no matter where you go in 10 or 20 years.

Seemed like an overall good audit where his rights were respected. No one told him he couldn’t film. And the police also respected his rights. Heartwarming. Looks like a wonderful city w/ nice people.
The man in the plaid shirt made me feel like an American. I almost teared. Thank you.
Very good audit, the guy at the end is a prime example of what every public official should strive to be. Glad to see nice people coming out of New Jersey
This is awesome. The police were very respectable and the man working out of the Mayor's office was so cool about showing you around town like he did and our rights were respected. Totally awesome. I'm a Viet Nam Veteran myself and when I took that oath, it didn't expire when I got out and you have more than inspired me to do some audits where I live. Thank you and God Bless you. Stay safe out there.
Major is pretty awesome and one of the most amazing spokesmen for a town that I’ve ever seen. Too bad every town/city’s doesn’t have public workers like this. This is how every single city employee should represent the people.
Great job. The one lady had you "following" her down the halls like a toddler...thank you for getting her back on track to leave you alone.

I’m impressed. I love this audit! Good reporting mate👍
What a kind and sweet man Mr. Major was! You can tell he has a heart of gold!
You have definitely become my favorite auditor, Sean. Keep up the good work.
Thank you 🙏
I love how calm you are. The only way to change things is to hold them accountable. Great channel keep up the good work
Hold them accountable to what exactly? How to handle an auditor? Because that's all these videos show. They don't actually "audit" how these people do their jobs. Sure I guess he wasn't asked to leave or manhandled by security. So that's that pass? Not sure what that proves. 99.99% of people who use this building aren't conducting audits so this really is only relevant to LIA.
@John Baer
I disagree, for I believe it proves that *anyone* can do as Sean has done and exercise their Constitutional rights.
No identification or credentials were demanded of him,
He was not searched,
And he was permitted to conduct his business while recording the entire time.
As anyone who watches this channel and others like it know, sometimes the government officials display and exercise their ignorance of our rights. In such cases, Sean and the other auditors like him post these encounters. As a result, it embarrasses the city as they are exposed online, and as is often the case, the viewers contact the city officials by email, and by posting on the city's website, Facebook page, Twitter etc.
Over time (yes, it will take time) the city officials and employees will no longer be ignorant of the rights of the citizens, and more and more will adjust their behavior accordingly. However, no matter what, there will _always_ be a few bad apples...but what Sean and others like him are doing will, and _currently are_ creating a paradigm shift in public awareness.
I say, Thank You to Sean for his boldness, courtesy and steadfastness in serving this cause.
@@mbgrafix I couldn't have said it better, Mike. There is a divide between law enforcement and "the people". Police officers are NOT our masters. The sooner they realize this, the sooner folks will start trusting them again. Most COPS do not even know the law. Although they take an oath to our Constitution, I would say that at least half of them don't even know what the Bill of Rights says. This is why we have so much backlash against law enforcement these days. More training is definitely needed for LEO's. First Amendment auditors like Sean are helping to shed some light on this problem. I respect most of them and the work they are doing.
@@OlYables if you think those videos are only about how they react to being record then god damn you are dumb
Major should be the Mayor. He’s a shinning example of a town ambassador. Fine man here folks.
its always refreshing to see people get the position they earn by just being good people like major is
I was happy to see someone promote thier City instead of demanding a citizen leave! More communties need to take a lesson from this City!
What a bunch of friendly bureaucrats in Bayonne. Auditors will not get many views when all the bureaucrats are this pleasantly accommodating and agreeable. Well done folks!!!!
What a wonderful man to be so proud of his community and his job. It is so refreshing to see a community so involved in benefiting their children and the people of the town. Great audit!! ❤❤
Wow, a positive for the most part audit. I was impressed with all the veteran pictures both in the halls and the courtrooms - they care about this building. As a veteran myself, I was impressed and wondered why don't all city halls have such a display of respect.
All those vets are from Beyonne? Holy Moly. This is absolutely incredible. I have to mark this video to show my family members who served.
By watching your videos, I can tell that when a public employee comes up asking if he or she can help you, it’s quite the opposite in reality, they will do anything they can to harm you and stop you from exercising your freedom of press.
TRUE
It’s the same tactic the people in stores uses (specially on minorities) they constantly approach you asking if you need help so they pressure you and make you feel uncomfortable and observed at all times.
I'm sorry you that you view interactions with public servants as people trying to "do anything they can to harm you." The only harm done is the fact that these people's images are now in a UA-cam video with thousands of views. It's inherently disrespectful to do that, but whatever, I won't convince you.
@@OlYables Do you think the public employees trying to keep him seated, trying to get him to surrender his 4th Amendment rights, trying to tell him the public building was appointment only, etc....were trying to “help” him?
@@mookiewilson4166 It's called triage: he's not the only one who may be trying to access and conduct legitimate business in the building. Most people want to be in and out of a city hall. So "conducting business" by filming anonymously and lingering around is hardly conducive to an efficient public space for ALL who need to use it. He's a malignant loiterer with a patriot complex.
Salute to the Hall of Veterans.
Being a retired veteran, that is awesome. Major is genuine.
Major is a proud citizen of his City. Good job Major!
This makes me so sad. My husband was the photographer for the school newspaper when we were in college. And then he shot for several daily papers for more than a decade after we graduated. Kept a roof over or head and food on the table with it. We carried cameras everywhere we went and no one batted an eye at us. In fact, those cameras would often get us through doors we probably wouldn't have gotten through otherwise. I also remember knowing that everybody had the right to free press and you didn't need papers to prove it. That was when I was probably 8 years old. All you needed was a photo or a story you wanted to sell to a paper or news station.
All other so-called Auditors need to take notice. This is how it's done. Respect begets respect.
NAME AND BADGE NUMBER!!!!! RAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

I love this video. I am so happy to see the man who is proud of his city and respect for citizens. We need more government employees with his attitude.
