- Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Retro Vault! A journey back through time, looking at classics from the PS1, XBOX/PS2, XBOX 360 and PS3 area, maybe even further back too!
In Episode 7, we will be looking at Capcom's follow up to Dino Crisis, and looking at the story from Dino Crisis 2! This game took on a more action-arcade type experience, and was insanely enjoyable!

As a massive fan of Dino crisis and resident evil I would love to see Dino crisis remade just like resident evil but until that happens I'll just have to keep re-watching the Dino crisis videos this awesome dude made
The first game was like that. Resident evil with dinosaurs
I never got into RE, but really enjoyed Dino Crisis/2 and Parasite Eve/2
Story wise i was sad to see the original team in the first game not being use again in the sequel but as the story progresses i accepted it and just go along with it.
Very good texture work on the dinosaurs and there are more of them on screen this time round too cause they ditch the real time background in the sequel.
Most angry is this game end on a cliffhanger and Regina never have the chance to go back to save Dylan and Paula ever again.
Thank You very much Harry… alot of people grew up with this game so it was very awesome to see you covered it …

You have single-handedly made me interested in Dino Crisis.
DC2 is very interesting as a preamble for the kinds of games Capcom would go on to make. Its focus on action and keeping a combo going would end up forming the foundation of the Devil May Cry series, as well as the weapon unlocking and upgrading that would inform Resident Evil 4's design.
The combat is a little too simplistic to fully recommend it to straight forward action game fans and the simplification of the resource scarcity means that Survival Horror fans aren't likely to be fulfilled by it either, but its still a daring experiment that blazed a trail for some of the best games of the early 21st century.
Interesting to go back to every now and then.

There are 2 kinds of people, Those who will gladly answer if you ask them their Favorite Dinosaur (mine's Deinonychus), and those not worth talking to.
I remember buying this from blockbuster used having no idea what it was. Ended up being one of my favorite ps1 games.

I think Gaming Harry should do a video on Renegade Command and Conquer. The lore and campaign is similar to Call of Duty Cold War but much more Over the top. 😂

I love how back then, gaming media loved making regular animals more tanky than what they should be, like how the T-rex took an RPG to the face, it that thing can blow up a car, it can blow up a dinosaur head no problem.

Cool ideas here...although I think FNAF might be too confusing to do. It's been 10 years, and we still don't know the full story. We just have theories.
@@shannonmartin1247 True, some may or may not be canon. Some Ideas, and creations, is the point of fun. Ever to view the memories we seen but not played. Like Blood 1997. Or a game I have not even tried. But these are ideas to make the channel thrive to understand the story better. Even Gaming Harry made me try new games I not played or heard yet. Like a encouragement. Let’s say, Every Creation, is Special.

My guess for how the satellite got there is the Edward City survivors launched it since they already had a missile silo and missiles are a good way for getting sattelites into space. Also thank you for making this Dino Crisis 2 and Dylan are the reason why I wanted to join the military as a kid I wanted to be a fraction as brave as Dylan.

We still have not gotten the offical results from the Capcom but Dino Crisis was def one of if not the biggest that had recieve votes from the preview results they gave us. Their is defintly a lot of interest in that franchise be it a remake/sequal or otherwise, i just wish capcom would finally give it some attention, it has been sitting idly by for over 20 years now.

I remember being a kid and seeing my brother put the controller down for 5 mins. I tried play Dino Crisis and a raptor scared the hell out of me and I paused so fast 😂 never again did I try and I regret it.

Hopefully a lot people mentioned this gem when Capcom did that survey a while ago so that they can remake this series or make a true sequel to Dino Crisis 2

Capcom should make Dino Crisis a remake just as they’re doing with Resident Evil.
I enjoyed this game even more than the first game, which I know is an unpopular opinion. Felt the same about Parasite Eve 2.
