Pardon me as I forgot to do one thing in this video: Special thanks to these patrons, The Harbo and OldbeanUK! I only hope the long wait was worth it. Thank you for watching everyone.
You finally completed the video it only took you like two and a half years to make it and your reward is a bunch of fireworks and confetti oh and 10 quintillion viewers and subscribers 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆 okay now complete shadow of War so you could do a retrospect on that as well that'll probably take like two and a half years as well
I like the point of Solaire’s optimism possibly being naïveté. But I like to think Solaire is very aware of his role in the world of Dark Souls. Everything is bleak. It’s a hopeless world cursed by undeath and decay, and yet he chooses to look towards the sun. The warm light breaking through the dreary clouds. Because that’s what Solaire aspires to be. That’s why he just wants to help you. He wants to be the little warmth left in a cold world.
Solaire is literally the "absurd hero" as proposed by Camus... Life is meaningless, chaotic, and absurd, so the best response is to be absurd yourself and rebel against it by creating order and good in the world
Rhea didn't go to the archives, she was kidnapped. In fact, _all_ of the corpses in the cells are captured maidens. Same goes for blue snake-octopus creatures, they're all maidens that have been captured by Seath for use in his experiments attempting to recreate the stone dragons' scales of immortality via crossbreeding...
You are absolutely NOT the only one that misses the ethereal flames of the original version. The more normal looking flames was the ver first thing I truly noticed in the remaster and I wish they never changed it
The Mimic eating you, bit, at the start of the game reminds of the time someone told me that there are zero mimics in ds 2, and then I tried opening a chest in the "Poison fort" and vehemently started cursing the person who told me.
There's no mimicks because if you bash every chest to check for them you lose all the treasure you could've had. So I have gotten the habit of bare fist striking chests in DS2
I love how DS2 did mimics. Wood chests that you could break combined with stone monsters you have to hit. I got eaten by a chest, then destroyed the next one. Classic Dark Souls.
@@draexian530Funnily enough the chest breaking came back in Bloodborne, but oddly the loot stays untouched. Seemed to be left in due to rush and thank goodness. Some chalice dungeons in my 400+ prospects I've encountered had goofy ass chest placements 😂. Some chests were set up immediately in front of doors. I was afraid that I'd lose the loot.
My favorite part of fighting Artorias in the DLC and then going and fight Sif in the main game is seeing the similarities in their sword play. they did a really good job of making Sif look like a companion that actually learned from Artorias.
The best part that he missed mentioning is that if you kill Manus first with Sifs help you get that different cut scene to start the fight where he recognises you and you reach out to him, but in the end his duty is to protect his masters grave, so you end up fighting.
@@Barnesofthenorth You don't have to beat Manus. You just have to find and save Sif in the cave, which gives you the other cutscene, and makes him available in the Manus fight.
I had actually never seen the OG version of the bonfires, but now that I have, I completely agree. The old look was amazing, and mirrored the coiled sword design in an interesting way.
@@foulmouthwoman Interesting. And that also looked much nicer. The same "more magical and ethereal" style they moved away from with the fires. I wonder why it's the old style there, if it's also the remaster? Would have expected it on an older version.
@@vitterling maybe they used the original version and remastered it again for the switch? or the switch isnt powerful enough for the pc remastered version, I mean the wii u has similar performance to ps3 and xbox 360 if I remember corrctly and switch it just a little better than the wii u so that would make sense

The family saying is still hilarious all these years later. Like grandpa used to recite this extremely specific exposition at Thanksgiving every year. I love it.

@@caravaneerkhed but the game isn't as intended, the developers were denied the chance to see their true vision come to life by a deadline. I think we should let them finish it
This video brings the emotional weight of this game home, especially to those of us who tend to rush through and not take the time to take in the environment. Even as someone who has compulsively consumed all the best lore content I could find after playing this game this video still had me breaking down by the end.
I still remember buying a ps3 only to play demons souls and when dark souls came out it consumed my life I convinced all of my friends at school to buy it, it was super fun going over to eachothers houses to see where everyone was in the game
Sif actively trying to stop you from sharing his master's fate is the most heartbreaking thing in game to me. It's the hardest fight of the game every time just because of that.
This is, brilliant. Like actually. There's so many video essays that are hours long and rarely give time for jokes. It's such a breath of fresh air having those extended humour sections, but also the fact your editing matches the tone whenever you make that shift. Really looking forward to more of these. Good shit dude
And the worst part is, no matter your choice in the end, one good friend's world is shattered forever. Lovely seeing you again Seth! Hope you keep doing great videos here and Twitch!
Check out Mathew Matosis’ videos on Dark and Demon’s Souls…. Each video is a full play through; about 2 & 1/2 hours for Demon’s and about SIX hours for Dark Souls, and (other than a couple of extended bouts of silence) he never once is boring to watch, or listen to. He’s got so much insight about the games design and its mechanics. Plus that smooth and silky Irish accent. True *Italian Chefs Kiss*
this is my first introduction to your channel. Honestly, i have no clue how it even popped up in my youtube recommended feed. But i am very glad it did. This was an amazing take on a game i played a decade ago. in truth, i never finished dark souls. Even so, your video was thought provoking, educational, hilarious and all together masterfully edted. your explanation of going hollow just touched my heart. It's actually something I struggle with, and you put into words. Great stuff, I watched the whole thing through and I've never seen anything like it.
I have seen something very similar and I would heavily recommend Noah Caldwell Gervais video on the Dark Souls trilogy if you want something as deep as this video. In fact it goes deeper and discusses the fact that Dark Souls uses a Buddhist representation of sin when it talks about how Gwyn has sinned and how many of the Four Lords have sinned.
You told an amazing story of how Dark souls really shaped our gamer minds of what a true classical game should look like. You definitely rekindled my bonfire and made me wanna dive back into this series. Thank you for that.
i don't really comment on videos on youtube but this is one of those videos that started as a constant suggestion and would come on as i was trying to fall asleep and become a video i often rewatch to relax i have adhd and sometimes find it extremely difficult to go to sleep due to a lot of racing thoughts and struggles regulating my emotional state this video has always captivated me to the point where i pay 100% attention to it even when i don't want to it really takes me out of my head for a couple of hours your voice acting and story telling is phenomenal idk just wanted to say thanks!
Hey Seth, just wanted to say it's great to have you back and this was a real joy to watch. I know you talked in a couple past videos about how hard you worked on this and how much it took out of you at times, and I assure you the effort you put into this essay and this channel does not go unappreciated. Keep it up king
I actually found the Great Hollow and Ash Lake on my own. And when I found out that I could get a Dragon transformation down there it became a place that I visit every single playthrough. Yes I farm the 30 Dragon Scales needed for that every single playthrough.
I have never played dark souls, and probably never will, but Seth's passion for this game is truly incredible. He sees where it shines, he sees its flaws, and he doesn't judge it for one or the other, he just takes you along on an incredible journey. This video was everything I love about Sethorven, garnished with...whatever people garnish things with. The man can make you laugh so hard you literally nearly asphyxiate, and also make you cry like somebody just died. Bravo Seth. Bravo. The wait, as always, was WAY more than worth it.
You should... literally started 2 weeks ago, and just thought, daaamn should have played this years ago. It's difficult, sure, but much less than it's legend. Most bosses so far i beat in 2/3 tries.
@@levimachado same , started 2 weeks ago! Rang the second bell. I'm totally immersed in the game for real , and also I can't stand the fact of not beating an enemy so I always keep fighting. So fun
Absolutely blown away by this... Not only was your retrospect view of this game supported with very well-made arguments and solid points, but the fact that you were able to balance out a very tasteful sense of humor with some incredible deliveries (at the end especially omg, genuinely amazed at the pain and anguish at the realization of such a dread world we're trying to save) is a difficult thing to do. I can say with certainty that I hope you continue to go far with your career on this platform. I was engaged all the way through and you captivated the attention of not only a "souls veteran" (if that's even what I'd be considered lol), but evidently those who aren't too familiar with the souls games. You deserve every bit of it. I hope to see you cover the rest of the FromSoft games, would LOVE to see what you think of Sekiro or Elden Ring.
(2:04:16) God, I imagine it was intentional but the panic in Seth’s voice really accurately conveys the sheer terror of having a loved one be on the edge of suicide, and it’s heartbreaking to hear in the third person.
I don't really comment often on here, but I really want to say that this is a magnificent video Seth. You've always managed to make me laugh with your jokes and accidental word flubs, but this time, your video has also brought a tear to my eye, for the insightful way you've looked into Dark Souls, the show of environmental storytelling and your poignant question of whether the world of Lordran is even worth saving to the Chosen Undead after every npc you knew and cared about either died or hollowed. Your editing, great humour, passion and insight are the reasons why I'm subscribed to you and this, your currently longest video yet, is the best example of it. I know this video took quite the strain on your psyche and took you longer then you'd have like to come out, but let me tell you, all that work you put in was worth it and I look forward to whatever video you decide to do next, my dude
Gosh your editing is magical I swear. So many times it had me laughing out loud especially when the Lost Izalith text showed up and crashed with the sound of glass shattering lmao. Aside from that just a very well put together video of one of my favorite games and series. Absolutely brilliant :)
I typically hate long form videos, struggling to get through things more than 50 minutes to an hour long... But this.. this kept my attention the entire time, full entertainment, absolute brilliance.. thankyou for taking me down such a gorgeous and nostalgic trip through memory lane, this is art. I had a glimmer of the feeling I got when I had played dark souls for the first time whilst listening to you talk. This is exactly what I've needed for so long now
This is by far the most well done retrospective I've ever seen on dark souls everything about it from the pacing to the scripting and emotion put into the script. Thank you for putting so much effort into this! And I'm sure everything you do after this will be just as passionate! Very well done seth!
I keep coming back to this video. This is the best content i’ve seen in YEARS. Thank you for this. Dark souls saved my life and this video is perfectly made.
I've always gotten emotional when it comes to animals, and even more so when someone continues to push forward on their last leg even in futility. That boss made me shed tears.
Well worth the wait I stuck it out Because the depression was laid down thick in the later half and the joke's came out of nowhere and hit me in the side of the ear like a freight train Sethorven you did good. 🎃
Eyy, this was a really good and well-thought out video essay! The hopelessness in your voice-acting at the ending was really well-done, made me legitimately FEEL the tragedy that the story is all about. And then it cut to goofy music and a robot v-tuber and I laughed out loud cuz this is the first vid I've seen from your channel so I had no idea it was coming LOLOL
~2:13:00 Seth: "We're not ending the video on a depressing note!" Also Seth at the end of the video: **ends it on a depressing note** Just... god damn.
THAT'S WHAT BONFIRES USED TO LOOK LIKE!?!?!? WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY CHANGE THEM!?!?!?! You nailed the description on the head! Well said, and the perfect word to describe the original Bonfires is "ethereal" Also....I totally grabbed the Pendant on my first playthrough
The remaster wasn't done by fromsoft themselves, they handed the project to an outside studio. when they redid the visual effects for things, they presumably just didnt have the direction that fromsoft followed before and just did what they thought was right, idk
DS2 was the first to change the fire effect to something more natural. DS3 fell in line with DS2 DS1Re conformed with the others. If it was unintentional then the change would not have LONG predated the remaster, quite the opposite actually, I think the ethereal look was the one that was unintentional. Given the way the bonfire scales up in size as you kindle it, it was probably easier to make it a more abstract 3D model as opposed to a particle effect. Regardless its such a pedantic detail that I literally could not careless. What actually baffles me, is they added a bonfire outside vamos' workshop but did NOTHING to expedite the process of beating the Bed of Chaos, literally the one thing fromsoft ACTUALLY apologized for.
If you buy the Switch version the bondfires are exactly the same. They tried selling a port like a remaster there, not that I'm pissed. Just confused and questioning....
Here is a tip from a souls vet to new players, however few you are, this game as well as the other three (including elden ring in this) all work on a similar logic. If you have a heavily armored enemy they will take more damage from things like maces, hammers, ect while less armored enemies take more damage from slashing weapons like swords. This is why magic is typically strongest in these games due to most enemies and even bosses are weak to some for of magic.
The original game had some kind of post processing that made so many frames look like paintings. I come from the world of fine art and there were so many scenes where I was like, this is a direct reference to concept art. You could tell how much care was taken to get things like atmospheric perspective right and the like. The remaster throws almost all of that away, which really reduces the sense of depth and space.
Thats mt favorite aspect of the dark souls story. All the human characters and possibly even some freaks could all be considered human players that gave up on the game because it was too hard and turned hollow by giving up. Its a great story element
Your months of hard work are appreciated, Seth. As usual, your humor shines through Dark Souls'... _dark_ world, but you take time to take it seriously when you need to. I've never played one of these games, but I can tell you clearly care about this one in particular with how much you praise and contemplate its story and bring up its missed potential. Thanks for the wild ride on this one, man. You take a good rest after this. I'd say you've earned it.
This was absolutely amazing to watch. It gave me some laughs, fun, and a much needed and welcome distraction from the Lost Izalith/Bed of Chaos today has been for me. The effort you put into this is clear and, even though it may have been a process for you, the result has been well worth it from my side of the screen. Thank you for the time, effort, and heart you put into this and for giving me some sunlight to make today a little better and tomorrow a little more worth it. Enjoy your well-earned and well-deserved vacation, Seth.
42:00 First correction: Laurentius doesn't mean the butcher when he talks about "her." He means the giant rat. The butchers actually chop meat to feed the rat. Right next to the cutting board is a shaft that leads to where the giant rat is, and wouldn't you know, there's a pile of corpses thrown lying there. As a side note, this is why rats drop so much humanity. They eat humans. Edit: There was something else I wanted to be pedantic about on the video but I was too lazy to write it at the moment and now I can't remember what it was. I might update this comment soke day, but most likely not.
Nah mate, creators confirmed that all butchers are women, so it makes sense if he talked about them. Why would he called rat "her"? Edit: also, the pit is probably for scraps, the part of meat Maneaters (like, y'know, Maneater Mildred) do not eat. The fact that this huge rat lived there and ate the scraps is just a coincidence.
@@Shinigami00Azael Yes, the butchers are female. Does that mean the rat isn't? Mind you it's common to refer to beasts with female pronouns, e.g. the giant spider that lived in the cave leading to Mordor.
@@comradecatbug5289 The Giant Spider was Shelob, she also is female, that's why she is referred as such. She has name, backstory, and is one of the angel/demon like beings in Tolkien mythology.

Amazing Video. Never played Dark Souls and might not after, but you brought me along for the ride of your journey and your vision of the game and I thank you for that. Time to disappear into the background of the internet, perhaps never to be seen again, the same might or might not to be said for this video. Thank you. Thank you so much. This may as well be the best UA-cam video ever crafted. You made me appreciate the little things about this game so much more than I previously did. Somethings, I do disagree on, but you influenced my mind so well that I had to stop and think. It's crazy to even think about it, but I love this game. I just beat it recently and decided to finish your video. Everything was great. You made me think of everything in a different light. I appreciate it so much. My only souls game I've played so far, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store. I hope they're all as good and even better as my beloved, Dark Souls Remastered.
Seth, I gotta say the wait for this video has been beyond worth the wait... is AMAZING. @@ZeallustImmortal Not... Really. Run up, run out, run in, run down. Takes like fifteen to twenty seconds and can be done very consistently. What did Solaire see after we fed ourselves to the flame? Did he immediately follow or did he notice the sun shine a bit brighter than before, its incandescent rays washing upon him. Maybe this filled him with the determination to be the third to link the flame when it fades once more.
Pardon me as I forgot to do one thing in this video:
Special thanks to these patrons, The Harbo and OldbeanUK!

The titanite demon being afraid of Andre's bare fist boxing and drop kicks is now cannon, no you cannot change my mind.
It had a full body before it stumbled into that room you know
Scared? it’s down right terrified
Nah it came to learn from the master of dropping bodies
Andre is the reason why all Titanite demons have a single leg.
Laughs/cries while in NG+3
I like the point of Solaire’s optimism possibly being naïveté.
But I like to think Solaire is very aware of his role in the world of Dark Souls. Everything is bleak. It’s a hopeless world cursed by undeath and decay, and yet he chooses to look towards the sun. The warm light breaking through the dreary clouds. Because that’s what Solaire aspires to be. That’s why he just wants to help you. He wants to be the little warmth left in a cold world.
Couldn't have put it better myself
\[T]/
If only he could be so grossly incandescent 🌞
Solaire is literally the "absurd hero" as proposed by Camus... Life is meaningless, chaotic, and absurd, so the best response is to be absurd yourself and rebel against it by creating order and good in the world
In at least one parallel world, Solaire links the fire, and his passion is so grossly incandescent that the flame burns eternal.

The Mimic eating you, bit, at the start of the game reminds of the time someone told me that there are zero mimics in ds 2, and then I tried opening a chest in the "Poison fort" and vehemently started cursing the person who told me.
Why did you even trust them to begin with?
@@Barnesofthenorth he did mention the cutscene and I like the possibility that Sif doesn't want u to end up like Artorias
The Switch version of the Remastered Edition has the original bonfire look.
@thememeilator2633 The item glow thing that he mentioned too
@@foulmouthwoman Interesting. And that also looked much nicer. The same "more magical and ethereal" style they moved away from with the fires. I wonder why it's the old style there, if it's also the remaster? Would have expected it on an older version.

I have never played dark souls, and probably never will, but Seth's passion for this game is truly incredible. He sees where it shines, he sees its flaws, and he doesn't judge it for one or the other, he just takes you along on an incredible journey.
THAT'S WHAT BONFIRES USED TO LOOK LIKE!?!?!?
WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY CHANGE THEM!?!?!?!
You nailed the description on the head! Well said, and the perfect word to describe the original Bonfires is "ethereal"
Also....I totally grabbed the Pendant on my first playthrough
The remaster wasn't done by fromsoft themselves, they handed the project to an outside studio. when they redid the visual effects for things, they presumably just didnt have the direction that fromsoft followed before and just did what they thought was right, idk
DS2 was the first to change the fire effect to something more natural.
DS3 fell in line with DS2
DS1Re conformed with the others.
What actually baffles me, is they added a bonfire outside vamos' workshop but did NOTHING to expedite the process of beating the Bed of Chaos, literally the one thing fromsoft ACTUALLY apologized for.
tbh i prefer the dsr bonfires, i like how they look
If you buy the Switch version the bondfires are exactly the same. They tried selling a port like a remaster there, not that I'm pissed. Just confused and questioning....
dont you mean the doll
Here is a tip from a souls vet to new players, however few you are, this game as well as the other three (including elden ring in this) all work on a similar logic. If you have a heavily armored enemy they will take more damage from things like maces, hammers, ect while less armored enemies take more damage from slashing weapons like swords. This is why magic is typically strongest in these games due to most enemies and even bosses are weak to some for of magic.
The part with Havel has lived rent free in my head since this video dropped
Dang. That was a journey. Your way of analysis and storytelling is fantastic. And your vtuber avatar is so cool.
Amazing voice, actual funny commentary and with some good serious moments. I love your vid and glad i found your channel
Fell asleep while watching this, got woken up by siegmire screaming. Not only was his strength ridiculous, so is the volume of his scream.
God damned man, you gave me chills. I have seen tons of videos about DS and yet this one was hella good and filled with passion at each frame.
Thats mt favorite aspect of the dark souls story. All the human characters and possibly even some freaks could all be considered human players that gave up on the game because it was too hard and turned hollow by giving up. Its a great story element
who crossed the road first? the human players or the hollows?
That lightning spear ad. Most excellent!
@@Shinigami00Azael it's still a disposition to refer to such things as females; Mother Russia, Mother Nature, Momma Bear-- even planets are feminine in their identifiable nature :)
@@maxwellhere8694 German Fatherland, Father Time, Alpha Wolf, and I don't know what you mean with planets. For example Mars and Saturn were literally male Roman deities.
Amazing Video. Never played Dark Souls and might not after, but you brought me along for the ride of your journey and your vision of the game and I thank you for that. Time to disappear into the background of the internet, perhaps never to be seen again, the same might or might not to be said for this video. Amazing content, amazing scripting and storytelling of a game I've never played and perhaps never will, just to make this video stand out more.
Try Bloodborne if you’re not willing to give Dark Souls 1 a try. I promise you won’t regret it!
This is my favorite ds1 analysis/retrospective video on youtube. Ive come back to it multiple time and enjoy it more with each watch. I really appreciate all the work you put into this one!
Seth, I gotta say the wait for this video has been beyond worth the wait... is AMAZING. A whole recap of Dark Souls, sending the feelings one getthrough the journey, the results of every quest we take and solve, the hint to the story behind and the interpretations of each... I cannot but say you did an impressive job with this.
This is absolutely fantastic. I really hope you make more like this. On any of the souls games, or other FromSoft games.
I just wanted to thank you for making this video. I’ve never been able to get too far into these games despite loving the world and story, guess i never “got gud” lol
I love videos like this, as it allows me to see the entire game, at a reasonable pace. Great video, keep em up :)
One of my favourite videos I’ve ever watched on UA-cam so thank you for making this masterpiece
“So with all of that out of the way… we’re in prison.” Probably the best sentence I’ve heard in a while
I'd been looking forward to this since you first announced it, and you absolutely knocked it out of the park, Seth. Well worth the wait.
Did not expect that I'd be binge watching through a two and a half hour video, but here we are.
That was great!!
Seth my man, glad to see you back.
This was a wonderful video with a great mix of comedy and KNAWLEDGE.
I look forward to seeing more content in this content from you.
This is a documentary, my friend. And an amazing one at that.
Sethorven My dude..... right now im at the end of your video and im blown away by the passion and emotion in your voice over this game. I never comment on videos but im actually stunned and massively impressed by your commitment and love for this series. Dark souls holds a special place in all of our hearts and this one single video took my back to that passion and emotion that I felt when i first played it. Thank you. You got another subscriber!!!!!
Thats ending is by far one of the most motivating and heart touching thank you for shining a light in the dark tunnel for showing us the the way and for that i personally thank you.(love the video please make more like this)
Something I'd like to mention
The dragon has another use as a very handy grinding spot.
Just pop onto the bridge and then head back to the bonfire. By the time you get back you'll be ready to do another run and it's extremely fast
Lot of effort for 400 souls
@@ZeallustImmortal Not... Really. Run up, run out, run in, run down.
Takes like fifteen to twenty seconds and can be done very consistently.
I also remember it being a fair bit more than 400 since it kills all the enemies on the top of the bridge but that might have been how much I did it to not deal with the combat
@@yugijak Or just kill an enemy in the next area for the same amount of souls
@@ZeallustImmortal I mean yeah.
I was very bad so any easy souls I took in a heartbeat.
It also took me a fair bit of time to even figure that out.
@@ZeallustImmortal Oh actually thinking about it I believe the total came to around 3200 per run.
Would have to do it again myself to confirm but eh I've never finished the game anyway
I found the Great Hollow by accident.
I agree 100% with your assessment of it.
with seigmayer I should mention he gets a happy ending if you kill all the monsters before talking to him
in this ending he notices your carnage and isn't broken he's more kicking himself laughing at how flawless you appear in comparison to him he gives you gift and leaves with his daughter
I know this is 2 months old, but he doesn’t get a happy ending. If you save him in izalith, then go to ash lake, you find his daughter standing over his corpse
@@TheOhH3NRY I doubled back to check no he's gone and she is too note you have to kill them all before he gets in trouble so his final nail is seeing the remains you slaughtered and it kinda makes him laugh cause at this point it's getting silly
@@marley7868 cause you have to talk to Sieglinde in firelink after lost izalith to make them show up in Ash Lake
@@marley7868 I just googled it and realized I was partly mistaken. According to the wiki, if you kill all the chaos eaters first, the questline ends, but if you do the battle with him and it ends with him above 50% HP, you can get him and Sieglinde to move to ash lake.
@@TheOhH3NRY yup so if you kill all of them first it can be assumed to be a happy ending he basically just kicks himself and goes home
This was such a fantastic video! I would love to watch the full Dark Souls 3 experience through your eyes again, this was fun.
Many people have said it but I'll say it again, I think you conveyed the game's storytelling, Beautifully.
1:1:17 the only reason I didn’t die to the elevator trap on my first playthrough was because of the large pool of blood on the elevator along with a warning from another player
This was well worth the wait loving the new style of videos keep up the great work
Just discovered your channel in my feed. I am a new soulsborn player since last year and have been soaking up as much lore videos as I can. I really enjoyed not only your own take on the lore of the world, but also your humor and overall joy with playing the game.
I immediately subbed after watching. I am excited to see if you go through any of the rest of the soulborn games or any other game you enjoy in this fashion!!! ☺️
"In the world of gaming, gravity has the highest killcount." ~ Sethorven ~
I'm making this a poetic quote.
This was a fun watch! Hope we get more content like this!
I've rewatched this video more than a few times now, and every time I feel hollow by the time it ends. You do a very good job at pulling people into your videos.
the edits,the timings,the walkthrought its just...perfection
Dude, I may be a little late in watching this, but I think this is one of if not the best game deep dives I ever seen. Props to you, and I now see Dark Souls in a whole new light or should I say fire.
SAME.
Dude I have played ds1,2,3 now going thru Shadow of the Erdtree, this video made me look back at all of the difficulties I have overcome in my life since I started to play this game. I rejoice that I'm not and I will never become hollow
1:39:33 You can roll through the attacks, but you can't roll through the feels...
This was well worth the wait! Thank you for all the effort you put into this, and as we are all thinking I'm sure, "FUCK LOST IZALITH"
I like lost izalith
@@executioner_ecgbert884 how much where you paid to say that
Great video, I hope you do the whole trilogy 👌🏽
We were Solaires Sun all along~ and he stood by our side until the very end
What did Solaire see after we fed ourselves to the flame? Did he immediately follow or did he notice the sun shine a bit brighter than before, its incandescent rays washing upon him. Maybe this filled him with the determination to be the third to link the flame when it fades once more.
I don’t comment often, but I just wanted to say that I’m pissed at how good this video was.
Wish I could watch it again with a blind experience.
