Eternally grateful to JP for bringing my wife and I into Milestone and helping us reestablish our relationships with Christ. I’m also grateful to have been introduced to this great ministry. It was a pleasure meeting everyone at the first discipleship event. I eagerly await the next one and this weekends event 16.

Always look forward to Tuesday mornings when the new episodes are released! I really enjoyed this episode as you guys talked about community and the importance of it. It can be difficult to find at times but it's worth putting in the work to either build it or find it. I am a member of an amazing church that has a lot of different small groups and communities. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule I am unable to attend any of the groups. All of you and this ministry have really helped fill the void of finding community. I know it's not completely the same but it helps a lot! I love the natural welcoming feel that your podcast provides, it makes it feel like I'm sitting in the room hanging out with you guys and it's awesome! Thanks for everything you do! Keep up the good work! Stay strong!

One of my favorite questions to ask someone when they come to me with a situation is
What is God telling you to do?
Coupled with what does God’s word have to say about this?
Often times as Christians we talked a lot about what we should be doing instead of doing what we should be doing.
For example, we talk about prayer sometimes more than we actually pray
Thought I would share those you bits of information that this episode stirred up in me

Man, isn’t that the truth! Talk about what we should be doing more than doing what we should be doing. We are commanded in scripture to be doers of the word! Amen brother
Prayer is talking to God. People that make it some mysterious, woo woo thing don’t know what prayer is about. It’s more about listening, than asking. God gave us the power to discern.
Ask for His will to be done, not for what you want.

@@joshstraussberger I had to get caught up to you guys, I was listening to extreme ownership. And then the dichotomy of leadership. Caught up now no factor. And wouldn’t you know it I come back and bam no turning the other cheek on jjj 😂
