I cut through paracord with the scissors on my Armbar, what more could you ask of a pair of scissors? And I just did a T9 removal of a pocket clip on my Multiforce using the nonlocking screwdriver. I call Biased review! The T4 is way more expensive and a bigger tool. The whole point of carrying the Armbar is that you will carry it, and there are at least 3 pocket clip solutions out there including one where it snaps into the two holes on the back rail. You are comparing Apples to Oranges. It would make better sense to compare the Armbar to the Swiss Army Knife.
this is fair. the only thing holding me back from buying the armbar was the badass power of the t4 scissors but you're right. gerbers scissors can still do a decent job .
Pretty sure the Gerber Armbar pry worked better and hammered the competition .. anyhoo at 1/3rd the price, almost 1/2 the weight and half the size there is no better easy to maintain bomb-proof hiking tool.
Not sur if Ambar is winning the blade match. Free T4 blade is made of 420HC, which is an average steel. But Ambar blade is made of... nobody knows... (and if you don't know, you don't wanna know either).
For the price range, armbar is way better, it is also a slight minimalist type of carry
Another good video. Thanks for showing a detailed comparison.
Bob thanx ;)
I Loved your tests Tks
Bons tests et avis final que je partage ! :)
diezelle57 Je vous remercie! La louange plaira d'un tel frottis ;)

Do they cost the same?
No armbar is much cheaper

Same steel Gerber, like many, just don't brag about bog standard 420HC no more
Leatherman everything is always better.
Except quality control, which is worse and worse...
@@raphaelg8801 I don’t know . Every SOG or Gerber tool ended up breaking on me
I have always viewed Gerber products as inferior. Cheaper is not a plus in my book.
