My girlfriend decided to start a small business with these slushie machines. I had zero knowledge on any sort of electrical work 3 months ago.
From how temperamental these machines are, i'm now am as knowledgeable as a bunn employee on repairs 😂
I understood literally everything you said, and didn't know a damn thing 3 months ago lmao
Excellent tutorial! Simple, effective, and well-explained repair guide.
Slushies at Bob's house everybody!!! 🤣
Nice repair and video brother, thanks for something a little different. 👍
Vaseline is a petroleum produce and can damage the seals. You are also working on a food handling product and a food grade lubricant is what should be used. Super Lube is sold as most box stores and spring goods stores as well as Amazon and other places. That is a clear food grade lubricant and is what is used in potable water devices like backflow valves or other devices that come into contact with drinking water.
Bob great video !!!! Very different the normal. I like it forsure. Keep up the diversity in the video I’m really enjoying it. And I just wanted you to know, while I don’t get a chance to comment on every video, I do watch almost all your videos. I haven’t left your channel, I’m still here watching vids weekly. Take care buddy!!!
It might sound like a lot of work but you'll keep your and the neighborhood kiddos happy with that new slushy machine and your swimming pool this summer!
That was very helpful. One of my machines just did the exact same thing. I appreciate the video.
That was very interesting Bob! Alittle different from the normal cleaning a carb or welding a mower deck. You made out alright if you have a use for the machine. Im thinking your children think so! Lol 👍🇺🇸🔧
..... Well done Mate, excellent.
Can I suggest 'food grade silicon grease' for your lubrication.
Yo yo hi Bob.. ta for the video mate .. nice to see something different.. happy Easter to you and your family mate
That was an interesting video Bob. I hope your mother gets you back for the comment about her tooth brush. lol
great video. We ran one for the first time in 10 years of storage. It actually all worked great. One issue there seems to be a bit of oil or oil/water dripping a small amount from under the machine. Left side toward the front. Any thoughts on if this is a concern?
Never worked on 1 , But have worked on Proofers & Bread ovens in a few Kitchens Grills and Fryers .
Great vid thanks, I installed a new board then had left torque sensor error. Did not show on old board just a tic clock error of course. On a side note your Mom is a " Dirty Girl " 🤪judging by that tooth brush. Thank again and I subscribed. I am long time HVAC/R 40 years if you are ever stuck send me the question.
Just love these video's where they leave out so much. Notice he shows the machine and then the next thing you see is panels removed but doesn't show how he removed the panels and other things. See this all the time on YT video's.
he tells you 2 little 1/4" hex screws if you cannot find out how to remove the panel, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS WORKING ON THAT MACHINE!
Unscrew the the little screws😂
Great instructions! How did you convince your mother to use her toothbrush? I haven't been able to get my machine cleaned up because my mom says no.
Super super helpful thank you
I took out the sensor one side is red and the other side is white does this mean I need to replace the sensor if so where do I buy it thanks John Billington
I have a Bunn ultra 2. It just recently started taking a long time to freeze. I checked torque and temp readings. But sides had refrigerant flowing. One side drum was able to get down to 15 degrees and ended up freeze after about 5 hours. The other side drum never got below 25 degrees and product never froze. Any idea what could cause that?
Great Video any idea what would make a loud rattling noise not the fan
I have one that has stopped cooking any tips or maybe local can fix for me
I like Cherry please! Looking forward to spreading my mullet and slurping some slushies down this summer!
Those fans are such a pain in the ass to replace, was hoping to see if you had any tips.
Left temperature sensor open. What does that mean?
Mine after electricity was taken away, on return we head a pop sound from the machine. Now it's dead , does not come on. Completely dead, please how can I troubleshoot for the problem
Anyone know if that seal & bushing at 6:44 is difficult to change? Looks like there are two seals (cooling drum seal and auger shaft bushing (blue))
Takes less than a minute and IS the only reason why you would have syrup inside the drum. This fix is worthless without replacing that $5 shaft seal. 🤣
I’m new to the machine, as it was gifted to me by a neighbor. I’ve cleaned it up pretty well but I just can’t get it to get cold/freeze. What can I do to see what is the exact problem? I’m looking at the Temp and Torque Screen and fan and cmp are both working. Shows below. And I can see the fan goin with the side panel off.
99-FAN CMP 0[]
42 42
Then the second screen shows
99-FAN CMP 0[]
69 69
Sweet fix (pun intended), thanks for the vid! 👍👍. You would think they would design those machines better given the abuse they take.
The pins go through optical sensors that determine tike through passing while taking into account temp from the sensor woth the black insulation, sometimes if you don't adjust your thickness through programming it will warp or break thos pins, just a thought
Also face pins away from torque board to avoid damage
Any tips for a machine that just won’t turn on. No lcd display.
Get a voltmeter and check to if it is getting power.
Do you know where I can buy a new compressor for it?
Can you send me a link to change gasket for ultra 2 machine
Lay a cloth down to catch anything that may fall or drop off.
Frozen margaritas this summer!
I'd take a machine in trade 😉👍👍🇺🇸
If you don't find yourself using the machine, simply sell it for profit.
Im about to pick one up for free bc the owner doesn’t think it’s worth fixing.
