    So glad to see that you are on TPN now Beth. I've been on it for 10 years and it literally gave me my life back after 6 months of being in hospital and a very similar journey to yours. I'm now back teaching, have 2 little boys (First TPN babies in Wales), just bought a new house and life is good. Yes TPN comes with its own challenges but the benefits far outweigh the negative. Get trained up as soon as possible as it can be a pain if you have to rely on home nurses to connect and disconnect. Hope things are on the up 💞

    Oh poppet you’ve been through the wars! So glad they got you on TPN now, you needed it! This is such a hard illness to deal with. I have SIBO too as well as Gastroparesis, had it 2 years and it causes me awful issues with my J tube feeds, malabsorption all sorts. I have to be on constant drainage with my G or I’m always vomiting bile it sucks.. you’re so brave keep going amazing girl! Lots of love 💕 💕💕ps. I’m starting a rotating course of 6 antibiotics shortly to try get on top of it. Xx

    As always, very interested by your vlog. Thank you, it helps a lot to understand because you are very clear when you explain. Thank you too for this eternal magical light in your gaze, and despite the hospital "adventure" you keep on having these smiling eyes. Selfishly I can't wait to know when your family will bring you the content of your PO box and get your reaction.
    Loves to you and your whole family, they do a great great job with the houses ! they are fantastic;

    My gastroparesis got worlds worse when I got SIBO. That was actually when I got my GJ tube, since the SIBO made me stop tolerating everything, even water. I didn't find antibiotics that worked for me until a few months ago. My GI put me on both xifaxin and neomyacin. I felt sick while taking it, but oh boy did it work. It can feel like guesswork since it is so unpredictable which treatments for which people. I hope that you find a treatment that works for you. And it seems like there is more than just that, so I hope it is all figured out soon!

      I honestly had never even heard of it until I researched it and apparently it’s quite common for people with gastroparesis!! Soooo happy for you thag you found a treatment that works and fingers crossed it stays away!! ❤️❤️

    I lost so much weight and suffered from stomach pain and nausea for 5 years. Then December last year I took rifaximin and neomycin for SIBO. The difference was like night and day! I still suffer from stomach issues and the SIBO keeps coming back, but I'm glad to not only have answers but also access to these antibiotics xx

      Sometimes it’s just wanting the answer that’s the most stressful part!! Glad you found one that works for you!! It must be super annoying it keeps coming back 😓 did they say its quite common for it to come back? Xx

      @@bethgallery1140 they said my bowel is probably slow as it's common in pots, which could be why. They said it's common for sibo to come back if you're more prone to constipation. To keep sibo away your bowel needs to be pretty clear most of the time xx

    I think it's really strange in the NHS that they don't use normal patient rooms (like 2 patients). I'm so sorry.

      There’s normally 4 people in a shared bay! There is 32 beds on this ward, and 8 of them are private which they normally put infectious people in that need to be isolated or high risk patients that need to be watched xx

    I have SIBO and have been on rifaxamin since 2017 for mine so a whole 5 years ! Without it my symptoms return so they’ve kept me on it. My doctor said my intestines are basically sterile as I only ever have sterile bottles of water and tube feeds 😂

      Omg that’s crazy!!! Does the medication help keep the symptoms away? ❤️❤️
