Have you ever tried a elemental feed? It’s a lot more broken down than the peptide vital you got put on so you might absorb it better. It probably won’t get you off tpn but might reduce the amount you need and keep what ever bowel function you still have. Being in hospital for a long time is extremely difficult and I’ve been through all of the things you have mentioned in this video so I know how amazing you are to be making it out the other side. I hope your feeling better now you are on tpn and your potassium levels are in a safe range and that you get home home soon ❤
Thank you so so much ❤️❤️ I’m not 100% sure!! What’s the difference between that and the others, would it look the same? I think I’ve only ever been on the normal jevity, vital 1.5 and ensure compacts when I was doing it bolus! I will ask my dieticians about this when I next see them, thank you!!! Xxxx

Looking forward to the next part you’re amazing girl! Stay strong I’ve guessed that it’s IF your final diagnosis, the symptoms seem to fit, I’ve been where you are more than once and many of my friends are on TPN, you definitely needed it so your team did great sorting it. I understood all your videos but I would as I have severe Gastroparesis and a really bad persistent case of SIBO, I’m still struggling. Starting a 6-8 week multi-course of 6 antibiotics down my J tube soon. Sending love to you Beth. ♥️♥️
Yes unfortunately 😓😓 I had honestly never even heard of it!!! So sorry you keep suffering with SIBO!! That’s another thing I’d never heard of but when I researched it, it said that gastroparesis is really common to cause it! I really hope you can keep it away!!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️ xxx
So my infection was fungal but I have gastroparesis pots and eds our stories so similar wow they placed a port recently cus cancer diagnosis and will keep for this reason Dr's said may need for tpn wow I was sent home on hospice because they cudnt figure out I ended up getting a surgery due to a fistula and sinus from the infection hope ur doing better

I was wondering in the first half why no tpn. But hearing the story up till now the infection risk maybe would have been high? I am so sorry you have been in the hospital so long. I am happy you may get to go home. I will be here for your next video. ❤️ hugs.
Honestly I wish I could answer that first part…. I’m not entirely sure why no TPN until now but I think the main thing was they didn’t want to do it until it was a very last option due to the high risks etc. can’t wait to get home too!! ❤️❤️
@@bethgallery1140 I learned over the years (generally speaking) that when multiple organs are affected by any chronic condition. It can make decision making for surgical or any procedure much more complicated. I was comforted to know that you now have the tpn and can hear the more solid nutrition occurring. I hope you get to see your family for holiday’s and hug your guy. Thanks for keeping us posted.
I had an unexpected admission to ED today, I was handing over my patient (I’m a paramedic) and almost passed out in front of the dr….so embarrassing. Been battling to get my potassium up for the last 2 weeks and it finally effected me, it managed to drop 0.5 despite all the potassium tablets….so annoying

Yes!! Got 3 things in at the moment lol, still can’t believe how I started this year with one 😂😂 still here unfortunately but fingers crossed very soon!! ❤️❤️

As always, totally moved by your vidéo, and yes, once again I shall be long because of my bad vocabulary, forgive me.
1 - Some years ago I had a sun kind of cancer on my nose, they cut part of my forehad skin and created a sort of bridge from the middle part of skin between my eyebows to the hole I had on the bottom of my nose. Why this might concern you? because I learnt that this kind of transplant was in order to get blood irrigation, and nervous connexions, to this new part of my nose. I always wondered if a bowel transplant could work on you I have absolutely no competences on medical stuff I just ask if it would be possible and if yes, I would be ok to give you a part of my bowel to make yours work.
2 - If I remind, you are 175 cms and how many kilos are you now ?
3 - Sorry but I feel hurt when i see on the videos your black tank top that hangs under the armpits.
4 - In these bad moments, isn't it a chance that James works alternatively night and day, so he can visit you very late?
5 - Beware, it is just a probably stupid feeling but, I would feel more secured to know you are at the hospital rather than at your temporary home when winter is coming, rain, mud, construction noises and Blue entering going out entering with his feet muddy. I have an incredible admiration for your patience and don't blame me to have this - maybe - stupid opinion.
