My definitive playthough of the StarCraft 2 Campaign Collection trilogy and Nova mission pack. Each mission video will be a walkthrough explaining and executing strategies to succeed and obtain most achievements on Brutal difficulty. All dialogues, cinematics, and story-related material will be at the end of each video.
In some cases I omit completing Mastery achievements that would require a separate playthrough detracting from a full showcase of the mission in question.
Achievements completed this video:
Not So Brutalisk - Kill the Brutalisk in the Piercing the Shroud mission without losing a unit to the Brutalisk on Normal difficulty.
Lock and Load - Locate all 13 weapon pickups in the Piercing the Shroud mission on Hard difficulty.
Monster Mash - Use the A.R.E.S. to kill the Brutalisk in the Piercing the Shroud mission on Normal difficulty.
Top Secret facility, brings standard marines instead of Tychus
He was grounded for breaking the jukebox.

A tip: Put a chrono field on top of yourself when you think the two stpes are not good enough

Likely a missed mission by many on their first run, and a great mission. Macroless, hidden feat of strength, interesting gameplay. It’s got it all, plus pygalisks, which I would pronounce PIE-galisks. Yay for baby ultralisks.
I always liked how Raynor and his troops were killing those poor defensless medics who weren't even a threat to them anymore.
who knows? she might get herself another marine to heal otherwise.
Should have let them die in the thermonuclear explosions that consumes the entire facility.
@@reginaldsafety6090 First: some of them were killed before they knew they were going to destroy the place
Second: actually, death in a nuclear explosion seems less painful (since it's a VERY small moment) than over 5 people shooting at you blindly till you drop dead
This ain't exactly the first time Jim Raynor's broken the Geneva Convention.
Remember the first SC1 installation mission where Jimmy gleefully guns down unarmed Confederate scientists automatically? :P

I always found it silly that Raynor didn't bring Tosh with him. Who's better for infiltration mission than always cloaked vodoo spectre? That micro mission on Char as well.
Well they got lucky, Tosh would have been wrecked by the psyonic emissions of the hybrid, Raynor and his goons were blissfully unaware.
@@reginaldsafety6090 Now I can't help thinking that they DID have a mission where Tosh went with them to Castanar, and they had to record him screaming/blubbering in agony/fear when they ran from the Hybrid; but they decided to cut out that part because of reasons.

@@andreproudian7032 His hunched-over back cameos in HOTS. Matt Horner says to Kerrigan that their infiltration specialist Tosh offered to help Kerrigan on the mission where they break Jim out of prison and Kerrigan was immediately like "hell nah bro I'm not down with his vibes"
In the immediate cut back to Charlie Vane Tosh is gone lol
A little old but if you use the warbot to clear the hangar you can keep one marine in the previous hallway to grab the healing pickup when the warbot gets low on health and restore it to full health to maximize the use of the warbot.
i beat this on brutal in such a unique way i just have to tell about it
im not good at micro so all of my marines died and i just had reynor left so i used medics to block enemys and soak damage for reynor while he slowly kills the enemys (fun fact you can delay the hybrid for a very long time with two medics giveing me plenty of time to beat this) i used the crono rift to slow down the encounters where enemys are killing each other so i had more time to deal damage in the end only reynor made it out
TLDR: used my medics as a meat shield to get out alive
Well done i liked this mission always felt like jacobs installation
If you play this mission before or after Utter Darkness the dialogue in the rest of the game is different, my highlight would be with Tosh if you keep him alive(and why woudnt you)

I don't know why, but everytime I see or play this mission, it plays in my mind a song from Final Fantasy IX in the escape part. The one when we escape(giggidy!) the dark forest early on.

And he controls a mecha Zerg army or CyZerg. All powered by a Protoss based energy network. I'd say he might even give purifiers a run for their money.

Because he already has it. Its a “feat of strength”, look them up. Or just kill the brutalisk with the robot.
