My definitive playthough of the StarCraft 2 Campaign Collection trilogy and Nova mission pack. Each mission video will be a walkthrough explaining and executing strategies to succeed and obtain most achievements on Brutal difficulty. All dialogues, cinematics, and story-related material will be at the end of each video.
In some cases I omit completing Mastery achievements that would require a separate playthrough detracting from a full showcase of the mission in question.
Achievements completed this video:
Blade of Shakuras - Kill 20 units with Zeratul's Shadow Blade during the Evil Awoken mission.
One With The Shadows - Do not lose any units before destroying the Void Catalyst during the Evil Awoken mission on Normal difficulty.
the line between tactical genius and gourmet cheese is a fine and movable on - especially when dark templar are involved
Gameplay 2/100, that Stalker took too much health damage
Yeah, unsubbed and reported.
Talis you are going to be missed. Thanks for helping us.
15:36 That poor stalker got left behind, I’d like to think that he got out while Amon was distracted with Zeratul.
He didn't Jay f2 and he came with. You can see him coming up at 16:32
The amount of brutal accuracy in that "making Archons" monologue. Fucking 10 out of 10.
21:27 "For Aiur!!" That one warcry gave me the chills. Thank you Talis, my new alien waifu.
NEXT ON JAYBANZAI'S PLAYTHROUGH: Zeratul was right! Chapter 3: Arty and friends vs The Universe!
very disappointed that those taldarim cannon units are never used in any custom campaign. not to my knowledge anyways
the weird thing about the whole retconning the taldarim in wol is that. The last artefact mission is in the sigma quadrant. and these missions take place in the sigma quadrant.
Uh could you develop a little ? What was retconned ?
@@AvelineMelena The appearance of the Taldarim. Like the unit models. In WoL they are just the generic Auir style Protoss. Shining gold armor, high Templar with blue energy. It was kinda lazy really, I love it when Blizzard makes an effort to distinguish the factions. They made Amon's Terran use a lot of Reapers and Banshees which is nice game-play wise because you can wreck them with Phoenix but it's also very flavorful because those are very aggressive units with very little armor, just how a fanatical Terran mind-slave would act.
@@reginaldsafety6090 Indeed. I always thought the WoL Tal'darim were part of Ulrezaj's rip-off junkie gang from Aiur. Either check the Dark Templar Saga by Christie Golden or tell me to fuck off.
@@Poputrash FINALLY someone brings that up!
Is it me or "May Tassadar's shadow hide you" is the only instance of "Tassadar Toredas" in Starcraft? It's unusual considering how many "En Taro Tassadar" the games have.
*adjust glasses* It's "Toridas" me dood. And uuuuh yeah, pretty much. Well spotted.
Honestly realizing I made that typo made me more mad than it should.
@@twZera413 you can edit your comment
Tactical Genius Jay hehe and Talis we remeber you always FOR AIUR :P
I mean, at least she's hanging with Fenix?
That's just a Robot with her personality and Memories. Not the same Protoss.
I mean the "Fenix" Coop Commander is him before he changed his name to Talandar.
@@notshockwavedemon7543 It counts! *sniff* I'm not crying, you're crying
I'm surprised nobody has made a WoL mod where the Tal'darim protoss have the tal'darim skin retrofitted. Sounds like a pretty straightforward thing to do. Unless it's harder than it seems. I don't know much about SC2 editor
I think coop units, Legacy of the void units and DLC packs skins are hidden/crypted in the editor, but i'm completely TRASH with the galaxy editor so don't take my word for it
Those stalkers be like "Guess we'll die"
I’m about 99% certain there’s no way to get them all the way out
Stalker1:"...for aiur or whatever..."
Stalker2, 3 and 4: "yaaaay...."
You just ditched the boys, those stalkers are screwed
Thanks for the video
So what exactly did that alter do? Because it seems that Amon is still able to communicate through it after it is destroyed. Did Zeratul actually slow Amon down at all?
When alarak says "Amon broke our ancient covenant" he's referring to this temple.
@@zaxtonhong3958 Oh, is that it?
@@zaxtonhong3958 What really ?
@@zaxtonhong3958 How so?
Maybe because Amon destroyed the temple together with countless Tal'darim inside
I wonder if Adun ever feels shafted for being replaced by Tassadar.
@UCnFQKc38H5K21jpENEj9YEg I mean, he did unite the tribes!
Except the dark templar
And the Tal'Darim
Whoa what happened there
@@gusmiccy1719 I deleted my comment because I didn't like it. Sorry, you are now a victim of my indecision.
@@reginaldsafety6090 At least it will always be in my feed.
Well, Tassadar smited the Overmind so and united the Khala and Nerazim so, he did much more than Adun who ended the Aeon of Strife.
How come every time a zealot talks they sound so mad???
just downloaded starcraft for the first time. Blizzard has it on for free right now. My question is tho, how to get the movement commands? It is pretty frustrating that the guys auto attack aggressively. You have to constantly redirect the character every second or he aggressively auto attacks. You cannot leave 1 guy alone let alone a whole group. Where you have the menu on the bottom right containing move commands. There is only left mouse to move. A & right for ground attack.
Thanks for all the work in the walkthrough. I will be referencing them often.
In the game options, look for Disable Simple Command Card or something like that
@@JayborinoPlays No Such Luck
5:19 man I don't see that enemy detection range in my game and it's frustrating. My googling skills don't let me find what option or hotkey enables it.
In the first mission Jay didn't see the detection range of Ravens, so I reckon he had to enable it somehow?
This is one of my favourite missions in Starcraft 2.
Hey is there a way to unlock the other campaigns???
Without paying
Nope.
Welp looks like I'm not going to get to do the zerg and protoss
First to comment. Btw I cannot wait for LotV
Love the series! This one was way too slow and cheesy for my taste.
