Saw Rick Springfield eating in dining area and I couldn't believe I actually saw him, of course, I was too chicken to say Hi and shake his hand. I was sooo totally in love with him when I was 19. I am 58 now. He played at our venue a couple years ago and I still love his music no matter how old I get!
@Dee Morse how lucky you were, too bad you were too shy. I've been hopelessly in love with him since then too, he‘s really one of a kind. And mmmmh his green eyes!.
@@allyatkins7991 Absolutely, but Sammy's version didn't sell for shit. He made far more money from Rick's version. I saw a video of Sammy bitching at a concert about how Rick had the hit. Just a few months ago they showed a video of Sammy's show on cable. Sammy had Rick on his AXSTV show and they played this song and Sammy finally admitted that he made more money from the cover than his own original.
🎉 retro greetings from coastal Mississippi. This song is 44 years old as of 2024.Rick is 74 years. Man, where did the time go 😮. I remember him from General Hospital and l have still have his vinyl albums. This song still holds up. What blessing it was to be living in the 80's❤😂🎉
This is one of my favorite Rick songs, and unlike April Fecca, below, I'm not ashamed to admit it! It's a great song. Also love Don't Talk To Strangers and Love Somebody. Rick is just awesome, and still rockin at 64. Gotta love that. ♥

It's so cute when they are singing into the mic, and he can't help but smile when he looks at him. He has that sweet, awkward smile when he does his 40-year anniversary songs, too.
I do. I was 7 years old and totally in love with Zach. I was so pissed off when they killed Zach. Although I think it might have been Zachary. There is an action figure of Rick Springfield as Zach from Battlestar Galactica.
I took my mom to his concert with my daughter. All three tiers of crazy b**ches in his sixties. I wish I had known it would have been the only concert me and mom would get to go to.
This song takes me back to my high school days during the early ‘80s. I also had the Working Class Dog album. Every time a new album came out, I put that on either a Christmas or a birthday wish list. I miss this guy.
My sister had this record when I we were kids, and she played this song into the ground, and was absolutely addicted to General Hospital, she'd even set a VCR or cut class to come home to watch Rick on TV. And thanks to my sis, I have this album on my iPod, along with all of his hits. Just another little bit of my childhood, haha:-)
This song brings back so many memories of my late mother and I went to see Rick Springfield in concert in Cleveland Ohio! That was her favorite song too. I was 13 years old. Now that my mother is no longer with me. I miss seeing Rick Springfield in his concerts. Rick Springfield is my biggest rock star singer forever. Love you Rick ox! 🎤🎸🙏🎚💝💯👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
