  • #dazzledry #nailpolishhacks My thin, weak nails cannot survive another dip or gel manicure soak-off-- but regular nail polish only lasts 12 hours on me. Is Dazzle Dry the answer to my nail dilemma? See me unbox, apply, and find out how long the Dazzle Dry nail system lasts. This is my honest opinion of pros and cons. Not sponsored.

The ridge filler from DD was really helpful for me-I get longer wear and my nails look smoother. You mentioned wavy nails from damage and the ridge filler might help!

I will try that, thanks! Judging by the quality of their other products, I'm sure you're right.

If you are transitioning from gels or dips then you should use transform under your polish :)

Polish will last longer at the nail tips if you wrap the tip of each nail with the polish and topcoat.

Yes! I have heard this! But what do you do when your nails are so short they don't extend past your fingertips? When I try, I end up painting the tips of my fingers. Maybe I should just do that and then clean it off my skin later.

@@cookinwithkathy I have no answer for that, although in the video your nails appear to be long enough to wrap the tips. If your nails are shorter now, I don't imagine that the polish chipping is that much of an issue since your fingertips are protecting the nail tips from the constant banging and scraping against objects. I keep my nails to where just a sliver extends beyond my fingertips and the polish lasts a good two weeks with the wrapping. I've never used the Dazzle Dry, but I ordered the starter kit earlier today since I have yet to watch a video where the person didn't like it long term (7-12 months).

@@AScrapOfKindness Curious to hear what you think! I have moved on to full size bottles.

@@cookinwithkathy Sorry for jumping in! I found your video by random and was reading the comments and saw this. I don't know if you've found a solution for this yet, but there's an alternative method for tip-wrapping for those of us with shorties. :) You can turn the brush the opposite way and push the polish to the end of your nail, going back and forth once or twice over the edge of it (make sure to pull your skin away from the edge of your nail if your nail rests on your skin), and then you can brush it like normal going the correct direction. It's hard to put into words, but I'm sure you'll find the method if you look up how to wrap the nail on really short nails. Good luck!
