Dazzle Dry: Worth the Hype? (Plus some chattiness)

- Hello Polish World! Today I have a lengthy video for you. A full review on Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquer. It is supposed to be long wearing, no chip polish. In this video I review the application process (I get a bit chatty here, so feel free to fast forward), then give you a day-by-day photo review of how the mani is holding up! Disclaimer: I purchased all Dazzle Dry products on my own. All opinions are mine.

Dazzle dry has actually been around since 2007, I'm surprised more people and salons don't use it. I love it

Aww, thank you. 😊. I wish I could say I choose to be like this, but I cannot! Just how I’ve always been. I think sometimes my hubby wishes I was a little more steeled. 😂.
I just tried it today for the first time! It really does dry so fast! But I had a bit of an issue I noticed when I was painting my nails with the color polish it was clumping up a bit after the 3 sweep… has that happened to you? What can I do different to avoid that? Or what am I doing wrong? 😮💨
Add a few drops of the Revive into the polish! It’s probably too thick. If it’s still clumpy, add a little more. It should be think enough to glide on smoothly! Let me know how it goes! 😊

Well gee.... This is very interesting. Im going to have to try a little kit off Amazon. Thinking one could use a regular topper over a DD mani to spice it up? I have a stronger C-curve than you and yes, totally know what you mean with the flat nail envy! But then always tell myself my nails could be shaped so much worse, so I'm lucky. Also, I don't watch TV at all, only UA-cam nail (morning coffee) and true crime (evenings) videos. What is the name of the FL atty UA-camr? I searched but could not find him. My favorites (aside from 48 Hrs, etc) are Stacy Lee, That Chapter, Dire Trip and Coffeehouse Crimes.

There’s my more dateline type UA-camrs I watch and then there are the current crimes and trials group. Lately I’m more into the trial type ones. That’s more what he does. Also good are Pretty Lies and Alibis, Surviving the Survivor, and Brother Counsel. Oh and Reporting Live from My Sofa (He’s a hoot,) …For more dateline type ones: Kendall Rae, Kymberleigha, and Danielle Kirsty. Some are more like talk shows, and do Live shows with question/answer type formats. Others are more story reporting. 😊
@@restoredbypolish4591 Thanks for the link. There are an incredible number of crime UA-camrs out there! I used to follow Kendall but quit for some reason. Was a legal assistant in my working years so I do love a good court trial and legal analysis! EDIT: YOU DIDN'T TELL US HE'S SO CUTE!😍

I have 3 polish cases full of dazzle dry, probably 60 bottles. I absolutely love it. It dries so fast. I never ruin my manicure. No yellowing on my nails either. It’s very expensive tho.

I may be close behind you soon with the number of DD polishes! 😂 you probably have all those LE ones I can’t find now! 😆. Peter is awesome! I find myself agreeing with his take on things about 98% of the time!

Ahhh, a fellow Idahoan! Been to Pokey many times! We love Idaho (have lived here almost 30 years. However, the wildfire smoke is literally killing us at the moment. It’s definitely the one drawback. Keep me posted on if you try/use Dazzle Dry! 😊

i have watched many of The Salon Life videos. i really like her and all the great educational videos she puts out. thank you for this video, it was great hearing your option on the system. how great they put a paddle brush in the minis!!

If this system can last as long as gel, than I can see why the price! I would def. Prefer this over gel simply bc of removal. Love how pretty gel can be and how shiny it is, but the removal is a pain. This is def. perfect for trips of someone who doesn't have time to pain their nails often, or simply dosnt like painting their nails. Btw. love your chattiness, you kept my company while making supper hahah...thank you:)
Glad I could keep you entertained! 😂. The system definitely works for me, but I can see how it may not be for everyone. I’ll do an update on it at some point, after I’ve used it for longer and in various ways. 😊

Nope! Not all difficult to remove. Just like regular polish. 😊

I got a Dazzle Dry kit with the color Fine China and I love it! The extended wear isn't a big draw for me since I want to change my manicure every few days but, I love the fact that it really does fully dry in five minutes. It's not just dry to the touch - it's undentable in my experience.
Same experience here! You can whack your whole hand and it’s fine, just a few minutes after completing the mani! I like to change my polish a lot too, but I think I need to give my cuticles and nails a break for a bit! 😬

I haven’t heard of any of those! I’ll check them out. It’s definitely a very saturated UA-cam genre. With so many crazy cases, I suppose there needs to be a lot of options for coverage! 😂
I can’t wait to try it, just placed a order. I love baths too, and i have 2 toddlers so I wash my hands a million times a day (it feels like) 😂
Please let me know what you think of the Dazzle Dry once you try it! I’m so curious to see if others get the same wear experience as I do. I’ve been amazed! With 2 toddlers, you need those baths to soak your stress away! 😆
I have to flip my nails over too, I have very deep c curves on most of my nails.
Oh good! I’m glad I’m not the only one. 😆. I’m still envious of people who can lay their hand flat and see their entire nail. I guess the grass is always greener…

I was curious too! So far, I’m loving it. I’m just starting to expand out the possibilities. I’m trying it using regular polish at the moment. I’ll have to do an update to let everyone know if it works that way! 😊

Definitely is perfect for vacation! The flakie topper is called Cold As Ice but I don’t believe it comes in a mini kit or as a mini by itself. You’d have to purchase the full size version. You could get a mini kit (with another color) for $38 and then buy the full size of Cold As Ice for $22. If you have Amazon prime, you’d be all in for $60. 😬

How long does it claim to last?
Their website says 7+ days. I know people have said they get more than that for wear time. I definitely get 7 days but have not tried any longer only because I get bored and want to change my mani! 😂
