Are the properties condos or houses?how much down payment?
Buy a well built well maintained CONDO in a safe and quiet area there fam. Preferably with excellent property management and security. And make sure it's in YOUR NAME only. You will glad you did. Trust me fam.
Where do you find a good condo?
@@henrycooperjr7515 Obviously it depends where you are. Research companies in your area that have been around 20+ years and check out their older buildings. And their reputation. Talk to current owners.
Edited for typographic errors
The thing about condos Ive seen is the matket is so inflated it just isnt worth buying one.
How much for a condo ?
🤔
Me and the wife are considering moving to the Philippines, after my son graduates high school. Looking at those prices, it’s extremely a big difference in cost here stateside. I’m retired military and she’s from Manila, we definitely could live off my retirement over there. Thanks for the video.
did you meet her in the states or Philippines?
If you have military retirement and VA disability (especially 100%), trust me, you could live better than politicians live here. Still would be smart to come here with no less than $150,000 saved up just to make settling in a lot easier and faster. Just my opinion for what we did. Retired military as well.
Haa! 150K …. Yeah right 🤣
@@Johnny-ql2vd Meaning?
Depends where you want to settle. In Bulacan, Cavite the prices are considerably high compared to other province near in Metro. Mostly expat in the city are in BGC. Depends what lifestyle you here in the Philippines.
Good job of branching out and showing some other things about living in the Philippians. Blessings for the success of your channel.
Thanks for watching
Those prices are for the house only. You still have to buy a lot to set your house on.
Just like a trailer house in the state but way better
"The 3 most important things to consider when buying real estate; location, location, location"
You can buy it, but not the land. Only Filipinos can buy the land.
Brother please so more content like this! Can you show us different price ranges $10k, $20k, $50k? Also different different locations? Please and thanks!
Yeah show us some beach propery bro.

I’m from the east coast in the US I thought I wanted to move to TX to prosper. I’m literally half Filipino (and Haitian) and getting tired of this country by the day. There’s like nothing here for me. This is inspiring me to move to my mom’s country. Thank you!!
And I think you being half Filipino you can own the land 👍🙌
Understand your frustration & left over a year ago 🙏
You’re a dumbass if you think there is no opportunity in the US but there is in the Philippines 😂
Holy cow, be careful if you have to go to the loo in the middle of the night. You hit the wrong side of that railing and it's a hell of a step down.
If you have never lived in a "Tiny-home" I suggest you rent out a tiny home for 1 year and attempt to do so. Most people eventually learn that lifestyle is NOT for them. It may seem "reasonable" but in the end if they would have spent alittle more they would be much happier in the long run. There are SO many housing opportunities depending upon what location you are looking at....My advice to you is to find a larger place - home and land. Because the outside living areas you can create will be heavily used - often more so than the indoors areas (except the bedroom) Make sure you have plumbing, electrical, sewer, WiFi services that you want as well.
I wish this was an option for SRRV deposit investment. You might want to mention to your foreign viewers that they cannot legally own property in the Philippines without Filipino citizenship. Many viewers are not aware that foreigners can't own property. These look a little nicer than the prefabs available in the Cebu area.
You are wrong! You can be 100% foreign owned corporation when you spend 12 mil php. Now you can own property. Under your personal name, no!
@@bradenkasper9802how many Americans have 200k to put into a foreign country?
🤔
@@bradenkasper9802 You've been talking to a schyster attorney and drank the koolaid. That's for retail corporations with employee requirements and you're still NOT allowed to own the land. Any such scheme trust/leasing the land to yourself under various trust and various powers of attorney arrangements are strictly forbidden under both the constitution and anti-dummy statutes. You're attorney is going to take you for a ride and suddenly step in as the full owner.
This is correct. At best you can get a lease of the land.
There is another UA-camr that has one of these type of homes that just had to have his entire flooring replaced after 4-5 years because the wood had been destroyed by termites and he was having concrete put in. So consider that, I’d consider them if everything was steel and not wood.
Definitely

I'm thinking it would be cool to get some land and put several of these down in a Bungalow Court style and rent them out.
You can still improve the layout if you move the kitchen door to the left side so you can plan a full L-shape kitchen. Instead of loft, make it full 2nd floor.
THANK YOU FOR EXPANDING YOUR INFORMATION. THESE ARE THINGS THE PEOPLE WANT/NEED TO SEE
Get a piece of land you want to build on, get one of these in the meantime. Take your time building the house and when you finish you now have a guest house as well.
yes. For 300sq.ft i could probably do my own shed/guest house. If philipines has no 1000s of building code like the west, i'd just build my own house, with lumber and instead of vinyl sidings i'd put brick on outside.
@@lowgrimes3884 can you build your own house with no rules, no restrictions, no type of building codes to pass?
@@lowgrimes3884 Understand, it is assumed that you will have a filipina partner, again someone you can trust and put it in her name. I plan to do this as this is part of me taking care of her after I am gone.
Only good for an Airbnb. I wouldn't buy it for myself. I would buy it as an investment for Airbnb purposes. Turn it into a Superhost unit.
🤔
My wife and I are looking for a home just like this. More prefab and container homes for us bro.👍🏾
They also build container style homes here in PH.
Make it anyway you want. Just a thought
Good useful information my man. 😀👍🏾
I would buy a small house there as long as the house is hurricane-proof and earthquake-proof with floors, walls and structure built with heavily reinforced concrete. And windows made with ballistic plate glass.
Flood proof and big enough to accommodate her whole clan plus you can't have your name on the deed, if you are a foreigner.
Now that is a beautiful dream come true. An inspiration for us bruh. Thx for reporting from the promise land and beckoning us
I AM SOOOO happy that you are doing this. My wife and I will be looking for condos and/or townhouses with in two years or less.
This was cool I needed to see this thank you

This seems like the budget friendly UA-cam audience I'm looking for. Is there anywhere, anywhere in the world you can live on $1200/month? That's about what I can generate with my online stuff (and I don't think I can make much more). I've been looking for remote jobs that would be amenable to living in the Philippines, but no luck. So $1200 is the cap. I don't mind not eating out. Not traveling. Not dating. I just want to have a lot of free time.
You are dirt poor. My oceanfront is $7000 US a month

I just built 24mil oceanfront on El Nido. No little rentals for me.

A little too close to the main boulevard for me.

It can’t be built at best quality. At that price they almost running on paper thin profit. That almost the price to build the house let alone to sell it.
They're not at best nor they're at worst. The construction labor cost is cheap, so the price is cheaper compared to USA + bureaucracy.

Good content.
Nice home but you cannot own the land. You can only get a lease which is risky.
Don't buy a single-detached home because the land is not yours. Buy a condo, maybe a condo situated on a minimum of 10 to 15 story building.
What what 😮😮😮 4,000
Yes Jay, buy it what a hidden Jem!!!
So how much would it cost to buy a brick / block built house ? on its own plot , with gates and garden ? and can I buy it freehold ? Hopefully you may be able to give me answers ! Thanks 😊
A foreigner cannot own land in the Philippines. You can only lease the land. You could do it all under your Filipina wife's name. But of course, she's the real owner. Prices for what you are describing can vary widely based on location, square meters, design, land cost, and materials used. A minimum of 3 million pesos for a modest house is likely.
