1:18 This type of packaging is used to justify the outrageous Shipping Costs many companies apply to orders. The worst of these schemes is the "more money you spend, the greater the shipping costs" which is being used by many internationally known brands. Shipping used to be about how much things weighed. Now it's just a scam!

0:12 that switch cover is amazing. Gross and all, but amazing art.
The thumbnail is actually awesome. This is basically a "fill it your way" crust. You put in whatever you like (cheese, minced meat etc) and wrap it around such that it closes, or you just leave it as it is, in which case you have a large crispy portion. You can even do different parts of the crust differently, so everyone has their pizza slices exactly as they like them the best.

I was in a mall department store once; when I visited the restroom, I noticed that the door on the handicap stall opened INWARD.
It makes a change from the door being blocked or the inside full of boxes! There's an automated door on a disabled toilet in my town that is already closing on you before you're out of the door! I used to have to turn one way to reach the automatic door open button but manoeuvre the power chair in the Opposite direction around the loo, bin, hand dryer etc so by the time I was now facing the door it was shutting on me, it drove me bonkers!

@@cheesysealAnon yeah, those are really petty scams. Seriously... Had one game that promised to give gift card codes after you get enough coins in the game. Reading all the reviews in the store, you could get only one less coin in total than the minimum amount you were supposedly able to retrieve as money. The game itself was still fun, but this is a pathetic way to advertise an otherwise pretty good game. (Don't really remember what the game was...)

@Dawson Reum The excuses for the packaging is that it makes it easier to display and harder to steal. Personally I see buying a single dose a total waste of money when for the price of one pill you often can get a bottle of several.

3:55 this reminds me what the company I work for pulled to our customers. Real scumbags.
Basically if you'd sign up to home broadband service in store you'd get a cashback voucher sent to you by post. Once it arrives you have to go to the website to generate and print your unique paper version of the voucher.
Here's the catch. The website straight away warns you that you can only generate your voucher once. If you lose your voucher you are on your own. Can't be re-generated for re-printing.
Once voucher is generated there's a big yellow button "PRINT". So logically you press it to print the voucher? No. That button closes the form. And you can't go back to re-print it. If you call them and accuse them of misleading they'll say you had to "Ctrl + P". The print button meant you printed the voucher and wanted to finish. That's the one time I told customers "yeah just report this to a watchdog".

When I worked at Pizza Hut we were all told over and over that THE most expensive part of the pizza was the cheese. Therefore, a machine or person that skimps on the sauce truly is unforgivable.

That dentist's mascot at 9:38 looks like Pennywise.
In regards to the minibar; this is why (much to the hatred of the director of hotel operations) I always warned guests to be careful when using their minibars otherwise they could find themselves with a hefty charge on their account. (Worked security for those unaware) and yes, we also had people in housekeeping who would intentionally open or move the minibar in order to cause a charge to occur.

Do you know HeroWars? The ads for that game show the main hero of the game alongside with a golem they have to fight by removing sticks with rings at their ends to make the path free. And those levels do really exist in-game! The only catch: you have to play 10-20 levels of almost round-based fighting before being able to play one of those levels. And you have to win EVERY fight with no loss of your own warriors, because if you loose even one warrior during the three-wave-fight, you only get 2 out of 3 stars. At least you get every heroes' health being restored after each level!

i had an experience with the waste of resources several months ago. I had ordered a paperbook atlas in Spanish from Amazon. 8x8x1/4 in size. It came in a box large enough to literally pack a full-size bass guitar. Lots and lots of paper padding plus some bubble wrap to make sure that this book didn't get destroyed during delivery.

I am a shipper. When comes to packaging nightmare I know it first hand. What most people don't realize when the customer order 1 item that is so tiny that they don't the correct box to package it properly or they may have experience that the courier lost their package due to its tiny size. The case at 1:23 is a very good example that the company who responsible to ship it out that they don't have the correct box to ship out that tiny item.

I’ve had a blaring commercial for either Monopoly (or that stupid “best bra EVER” ad you can’t even skip) while quickly checking something in the middle of a meeting. You shouldn’t need a faraday cage to avoid loud, obnoxious ads.

Apparently consumers had lapses in their insurance, but The General welcomes back several people who still love him like a short old CGI dude is their boyfriend. A few years later, a few commercials come out where Shaq, a celebrity that was actively featured in most commercials, was abandoned by friends, for example in a forest, because they didn't like The General's commercials.
I hate the oven “self cleaning” mode on the oven at my house. Once on thanks giving, we thought our oven was dirty, so we tried the self cleaning mode where it tries to burn off the stuff in the oven, but the oven actually caught on fire and we couldn’t put it out because the oven automatically locks itself when it does the self cleaning thing and the oven couldn’t finish the self cleaning thing because it was overheating. Eventually, we did find a way to put out the fire
