We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press. This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.
I want to give a shout out to Hannah. I am a bit of a videographer myself and nothing drives me crazier than jerky, all over the map filming. Hannah is smooth and does a great job anticipating what she should be doing when and where you need her. That's particularly tough on one take videos. I'm impressed!!
Love the one-takes, it's reality and not staged, which I like. Also, thank you addressing the "Naysayers" and their snarky comments!! Melaney from SoCal
Fantastic review! My husband and I are full time stationed RV'ers. We are making us an outdoor kitchen. This will be perfect to go with our 36 inch griddle. Living in Texas we can cook outside for most of the year. Perfect father's day present.
Was literally talking about how something like this would be amazing today. Just got my Blackstone griddle over the weekend and this would be the perfect addition!
I go to Walmart everyday to look for the new items you have been showing. I just was able to get the chef knife, the new thermometer, collapsible dome and the new e series utensils. Now just waiting for the E griddle and this pro prep cart.
Todd,i used to spend my friday nights in my garage drinking my dads beer, and looking at my Honda Express moped, now Have the 36 inch air fryer combo, along with your last gen prep table, and now i spend my Friday nights in my garage, drinking my beer, looking at my Blackstone Country Kitchen, and let me tell you, its sexier than a Honda Express, and that thing was damn cool, but a cart brings the griddle experience over top,i have a bar room set up,kekorater, and Snap On immataion bar tool chest,i use for cooking instead of tools.
Thank you todd for finally telling ppl who dont pay attention that constantly watch your videos to stop asking where to get it and knocking the ppl for want to spend they own money on what they want bc i get tired of reading the comments like that and give the walmarts time to get them in before you start asking the samething over and over or do some research on your own but otherwise have a great week looking forward to seeing your future variations of setups with the prep carts
If you keep showing us all this great stuff- I am going to need a bigger back porch- I love my BLACKSTONE griddle and supplies. Hardly cook inside much anymore. Great Video :)
Great job Todd. I was all your videos. Hoping to pick up the e series and the storage tote this in Sparks, Nv. I thinking of getting the original prep and serve kart. Thanks again. 😀
Chad! Thank you so much for watching. I get to Texas anytime I have the opportunity. If it wasn't for the heat and humidity, we'd move there! Have a great rest of your week!
@@praisehisawesomename Great! If you dont like the weather, wait 15 minutes. ;) I picked one of these beasts up yesterday. :O Can you come help me put it together? ;)
Got mine yesterday and put it together today, a bit of a tough build but mostly because my hands don’t work like they used to. Then prepped cooked a giant ribeye meal, do much easier having everything close by. Great Blackstone item!
I just got one of these but it was badly damaged and am having to return it, hope I can get it replaced very soon, looks quit well built and can’t wait to add it to my cooking area.
Thank you so much for the video. I really enjoyed it. One take is fine you don’t need to do anything fancy it’s more about the information that about the flash. I totally agree with you about the negative comments. If someone doesn’t want a 17 inch electric griddle for example, just don’t get it. Those of us who do we will enjoy them. Not every product is for everyone but it’s nice to have a choice. God bless you.
Love your gift!!this is a must have for me. I have purchased 5blackstone g riddles. 2 for my self and the rest as gifts. I am from MN and cook on mine all year round. Can not wait to get this serving table.
Just bought this cart, I have not put it together yet. But after watching this video I am pretty excited. We just our 36 griddle a couple weeks ago, love it!
Todd, love your vids. Just recently got the 36" with air fryers unit. Love it. First time griddle owner. Watched your vid on hibachi cooking and mine turned out great. Wife was impressed. Thanks and keep em' coming.
Put mine together yesterday. Takes 2-3 hours to assemble and I recommend having an extra hand close by for a few of the steps but for the most part one person assembly is possible.
Todd - Great job on explain that you cant tell everyone what to do with it (storage and use). Keep putting these great videos out and staying positive!
Great video and lots of items with the new prep cart. I didn't see any ear corn holders. With your connections that might be in the future. Have a great day.
Just stumbled across your channel, fantastic. Subscribed. I just bought my first Blackstone 28" pro series about a month ago and I have been addicted to cooking on it. Never knew I would eat breakfast more that one time a day. Smash burgers are fantastic. Cant wait to do philly cheese steak and hibatchi!
Hi Steve - Congrats on your new griddle. That's pretty much what happened to me over 8 years ago and I'm still griddling! Thank you SOOOOO much for watching & subscribing. I really appreciate it. Make sure you're subscribed over at UA-cam.com/BlackstoneGriddles for my weekly Let's Give It A Try Show as well. God bless!
After trying to order mine for about a year. I finally received one. Opened it all up fairly disappointed with the quality control. I found I had a bunch of scratched, dented, and bent parts. I wish Blackstone charged a little more and made a better quality product. It’s a great design but It just seems like they skimped on some of the simple things. But all in all I think it will be great.
You can also hook up a portable pressure shower hose to the faucet like my Rinse kit. That prep cart is really neat. Since it folds up it can lay on the floor in a camper.
Just ran out and bought the last one at my local Wal-Mart! not looking forward to assembly, but can't wait to add it to my weaponry of outdoor cooking. Todd you are a BADASS and I would love to have a beer with you! Thanks for all your videos.
Only major issue I had on assembly was the led button not being able to fit deep enough for the nit to reach the threading. Guess I’m going to have to get a step drill bit out to expand the hole slightly?
Awww hate I’m late to the party. I’ve never seen either of these prep carts at our Walmart. I will definitely be keeping an eye out online for sure. Would love to add this to our 36” for more prep and storage area outside, instead of having to do it all inside. My husband keeps telling me Blackstone has me dreaming way bigger than his paychecks hahaha the outside kitchen I have in my head is definitely a dream.
Wow. A superb job of explaining the new grill. I was at Walmart today for some accessories and saw people waiting in line to get their Blackstone. What-Is-Going-On? Todd Toven you are amazing! Oh. Great job on the video! 😊
Hi, Mark - If I remember correctly, I might have cried a few times while trying to put it together! From what I've heard, this model has been discontinued and there will be a different version available before spring. In any event, I'm glad you snagged one. Enjoy!!!!
Nice review , Good Job! I bet those measurements was manufactured for a griddle to be placed on top as well for an option. Does anyone know what kind of Blackstone griddle would fit on top?
Finally found one at our local Walmart. My wife insisted she would assemble it. Took her 1 hr. She did a great job. We found that the measurements are close enough to the 28in griddle we use the blackstone griddle cover to keep it looking great outside. Oh Todd, my wife didn't have to be manly to pull the sticker off...lol she is only 5'-1 and in our 60's.
Todd, not fare. Video not even an hour old and can't find this at any Walmart or online. The same thing happened to the last Prep cart you showed. Sucks for us. love the videos thank you and God bless
Let me start off by saying I LOVE blackstone products. I just drove an hour to pick one of these up at a Walmart a state away as they were the only store near me and had 2 in stock (one display) called to make sure ordered it online drove there to pick it up (yay) got home and like a kid on Christmas tore into this thing and started putting it together. At about step 4 I realized I was sent 2 right rear panels and not a left and a right so now I am short a back panel. At this point I said “F” it and assembled it, this is a Sunday so blackstone support is not open till tomorrow damn but non the less I got it together and I love it just a few takes from this all in all it is a great unit but for almost $400 use better clips on the lid and put the $2 worth of parts in the box to hook it up to a hose, I’m pretty sure most hose connectors in the country are the same and also pay attention to putting parts in a box not sure how long it will take to get a left rear panel but I hope not long and again for $400 I shouldn’t have to go to Home Depot spend time gas and ANOTHER $2 to get this hooked to a hose but in the end would I recommend this unit....... YES
Help! Todd, I think you got the prep station that was fabricated on a "Wednesday". The one I got was a disaster. I had several problems with both manufacturing and packaging. The bracket is held on with three (3) bolts, not four (4) 3) Missing LED button assembly a. Not included in packaging 4) Front right latch a. Does not latch down completely It took over 3 hours to assemble this prep station. As you can imagine, I have no desire to disassemble and return it to Walmart. Also, I do not have a vehicle large enough to return it to Walmart assembled. I hope you or someone at Blackstone can provide me with the missing LED light switch ASAP and can resolve my left side (Sink Side) Nutsert and right latch issues quickly and easily; like sending out a local rep. to fix this, so I can enjoy my new cart. I'd have loved to watch u put urs together mine was a 50 page book and the bottom hole for the verticle handle.theres only 1 verticle handle.only one predrilled hole was in the correct spot the other hole, holes including the 2 small holes, the other hole was drilled an inch off
FedEx in the house, finally? I I have an arsenal of UPS hats, cups, and mugs. One UPS subscriber told me, "The other carriers don't griddle!" LOL. Thank you so much for watching & for checking in. God bless!
Thing that blew my mind about this model is the open slot of the side shelf, you can prep food on the stainless surface and then slide it right into the garbage through that slot :)
Another awesome product and video Todd. I’ve seen the other brands of griddles and for the money, Blackstone is hands down the best in my opinion. I own the adventure model and the 27” with the burners and fryer basket. I’ve cooked on flattops for over 20 years. I’m looking at setting up an outdoor kitchen using the Blackstone prep tables. Any ideas??
I can also imagine all the questions. I get asked alot about my cooking. I use what I got. I have different kind of salts. Kosher, table salt, and pink Himalayan salt........ Q: do I use table salt if I make it like yours?? A: 😬🙄....... 😁 Q: Can I use garlic chives instead of whole peeled garlic?? A: 🤦♂️😢 This world is becoming more and more....I dont know anymore😝
Question Todd, What if you are not near a water source for the faucet, is there any recommendations for a battery operated water tank that could be used?
Hi, Fred. They discontinued this model over a year ago so it doesn't matter. I actually gave mine away shortly after this video because I simply did not use the features (light, etc.). Having said that, I know people who have it and love it but it was discontinued long ago.
@@praisehisawesomename wow they are still selling it. I wanted something next to my blackstone pizza oven and I liked this one with the closing lid and had a stainless top on it. The sink was just there for me. I might not put the sink in and have a cutting board cut down to fit it. Thank you
@@fdavisson they were discontinued. Every physical store has them on clearance if there’s any left. It’s possible they might have a few left on.com but they were discontinued about a year and a half ago. They no longer make them.

Todd, I think you got the prep station that was fabricated on a "Wednesday". The one I got was a disaster. I had several problems with both manufacturing and packaging. Unfortunately, my prep cart did not live up to Blackstone's usual high quality standards that I have come to know. I think this is a great design, but this unit failed miserably in production.
1) Front left leg assembly
a. The middle Nutsert fell out
b. Bottom Nutsert is missing the threads
c. Bracket is held on with only one (1) bolt, not three (3)
2) Rear left leg assembly shelf bracket
a. The middle Nutsert is missing
b. The bracket is held on with three (3) bolts, not four (4)
3) Missing LED button assembly
a. Not included in packaging
4) Front right latch
a. Does not latch down completely
It took over 3 hours to assemble this prep station.

It’s cool to be kid and grownup at all the right times. Helps me stay young. Get your rocket cut out online. Learn to GOOGLE as Todd says.
Do you know if they are going to make a cover for it, to protect from the weather when not in use?
Griddle cover fits perfectly
It's for me . man I need more table place! Thanks Todd.
Thanks Todd for the video. The prep table would be perfect if the entire prep aera was made from a boos butcher block material with the Blackstone logo burned right on the side then it would be worth $350
LOL. Just like I said in the video, everything's not for everybody. God bless.
That's a great cap!
With it kept outdoors- How do you keep spiders from going into drawers? Thamk You 👍
I use a harbor freight mechanic's cart. stores all of my griddle and grill stuff in the drawer. wood and pellets on the bottom. magnetic paper towel holder. magnetic magnets for utensils while cooking. works great. all in about $200
That is a very nice prep cart. I may have to get this if I can find it locally

I love it! Would love to have that next to the griddle, so I can prep, cook, serve without someone coming into my space. ;-)
Can't stand it when people come into my cooking space. This would work good, or just buy a Taser. That works well also. 😂🤣
Todd!!!! That's next on my list! 😁💯
I can also imagine all the questions. I get asked alot about my cooking. I use what I got. I have different kind of salts. Kosher, table salt, and pink Himalayan salt........ Q: do I use table salt if I make it like yours??
A: 😬🙄....... 😁
Q: Can I use garlic chives instead of whole peeled garlic??
A: 🤦♂️😢
This world is becoming more and more....I dont know anymore😝
Would you use the same cover for this as you would for the 36' Blackstone griddle for keeping it outside?
