ah! teamwork! I heard this cheat before, didn't know there are still ppl using it. glad jingles exposed another cheater using it, salute to the losing team for keeping their dignity by not using such shameless cheat.

1:00 T6 carriers have always been ok. The problem before 0.8, AND the problem after 0.8, is the T10's ;p
Well before 0.8 it was the god awful gameplay. Now it's just the god awful teams.
Wish I had carrier players like that. Every time I go out in my destroyer, as soon as I am spotted I go boom from aircraft rockets or shellfire

I'll argue the two carriers probably don't even realize what they did wrong... just based on the general playerbase.

Jingles, a DDs worst nightmare was a double Midway match in ANY T8 DD. Also the Fushun couldn´t doe the same to the Icarus ... Fushun has deep water torps.
Fushun torpedoes in smoke? Not something to fear.

To be fair, he did have a war thunder replay for the sole reason that the guy got a kill AFTER having his tail shot off and being in a flat spin. That's pretty legit.

Carriers survive till the end, just like old school bb's did. Carrier skill gap still an issue watching this video. Props to the ones actually supporting their dd, and commiserations to the opposite team for having monkeys at the wheel. So tell me again this carrier rework is working as intended?
All players can improve by better selecting targets and positions. Carriers are no different.
Actually Jingles, Fushun has deep water torpedoes.... I don’t know what is more hilarious: the Fushun captain trying to torpedo the Icarus or a gnome overlord once again messing up this basic WOWS destroyer knowledge
Thurisaz is a Nordic rune for "giant" and "misfortune". At least one of these descriptions match at least lol.
It's the rune for Thor. One of the descriptions is also "Thorn" if im not mistaken. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed his name lol

Small correction, Jingles. A Destroyer captain's worst nightmare is not a double carrier battle at Tier 10. It is facing this while in a Tier 6 Destroyer. Yes, I realise this much level discrepancy probably would not be allowed in most battles, but we can still imagine.

I nearly didn't click on this because it was obviously a carrier replay.
That could have worked, but it was risky and didnt pay off. I think enemy carriers plan was to delete one or two of carriers, so they can hunt the destroyer with out worrying about enemy aircraft so much. Friendly destroyer had smoke screen to hide in and could potentially stay alive, but that part of the plan failed gloriously.
"It's not about the damage that carriers do to destroyers". Oh, but that is where you're wrong. Especially rocket planes are especially OP against DDs since they are able to get off tons of rockets and hit around 90% of them and oneshot the poor DDs. DBs also has a slightly special tendency to oneshot DDs with only one dive. (Has happened to me 5 times since the CV rework and I only have about 50 battles in DDs since then.) Got detonated in my Bismarck by a Midway after his planes flew straight through the AA zones of a Monty and a Baltimore. He lost two planes, but hey! He has unlimited planes so why be worried about loosing some?
I envy this DD player so much his CVs are at least helpful, my best game with 9 kills in the Kamikaze R was only lost because of the fact I was alone against a CV and both of my teams CVs behaved just like the Reds in this game.
I had CV's which sailed into the enemys BB's and DD's. Or Islands....
Alexander we all get those kind of CVs map awareness isn't their thing usually

Well, if you like staggering around like a drunkard without actually being drunk, and seeing things that aren't there, yeah. Sleep plans, they're not just for sissies. Been there, done that. Even have a t-shirt around here, somewhere.
just fyi: if you are somewhere off at a flank you wont have friendly AA and your CV will not drop fightercover. you might want to try going for the objective with plenty of AA cover and friendly CVs flying over every 2 minutes droping fightercover. your choice.

I was in my Clemson yesterday and there was 3 carriers. Let’s just say I killed 2 of the three cvs before I was killed as well as 2 enemy dds

I always in love with the enemy aircraft carriers on my ... Hey you see that lone ship keeping everything from killing you yeah let's ignore him and try to bump up our damage
As a fairly decent CV Captain I LOVE to sink destroyers. The Attack Aircraft do pretty good damage to those tiny things.
Jingles, I was divisioned up with a buddy as DD's and ended up in a 6 carrier match ( 3 on each team) in tier 4. It was unpleasant until My pal and I finally found them.
the problem with T10 CV is the CV can do more than than the spotting if they wanted to. so spotting is an issue but not the biggest if it is high tier, rocket plane is the biggest, this is why WG is nerfing the rocket planes. They nerf the planes for a good reason

Yesterday I was in a tier 9 battle with my Sims with two tier 8 CVs per team and 2 Atlantas and a Donskoi on the enemy team, one Atlanta and the Doskoi being on my side of the map as well as a Fletcher.
I only managed to do 9500 damage but killed the Fletcher, shot down 11 planes, got one solo cap and was 3rd on my team with 1562 base XP.
true, just had one of my best Games in the Fubuki with 2 Tier 7 Carriers in the game... the only thing i needed were a few Battleships derping around in a straight line ;) (16 Torpedo-Hits, 156k dmg, confederate, 3 sunk ships and much fun... the other DDs on my team had way less fun on the other side of the map)

Counterpoint: Anshan is also PA t6 DD with the Gnevny hull, and it has normal torpedoes. I also mix up their names way too often after not playing for a bit.
