So funny to see the evolution of your personality in these old videos to the newer ones!!! Well done!
I had a little tear fall for this one! (Yes I'm still binging your channel lol, I love everything you make!) But this one brought a tear to my eyes Bec it reminds me of my late Mom, she appeared to as one, I even got a tattoo of one in her honor!!! So ya, this one got me a little lol 💜
The butterfly was the perfect finish for that box!
I love watching your hands lol idk a pair of hands are so beautiful when they're doing something they love!
It's amazing to see the difference between your new videos and the old. You have put in a ton of work and have obviously gained confidence as well as improved in your cinematography. Awesome progress and an awesome early video.
This is such a sweet pot. I’d love to buy one but I’m late to the video. More pots like this please. Was that elm? Beautiful wood & I love the shape of the pot too. Oh & gorgeous butterfly too. I would ha e thought it would be too big for the pot but it’s perfect✌️💚
I love how comfortable he is in his mote recent videos with his waffling and antics. He's really come a long way. He's really talented too.
We lost are elms to the Dutch Elm Decease back in the late 60's and 70'. So watching you use a piece of elm is cool.
Nick it is a stunning little pot. But I missed your waffling.
I love the butterfly! So beautiful.
I think a little flocking inside would be super neat.
I love that pot!! Great job!!!
Looks really nice butterfly put.
Very nice, the butterfly adds to it
Enjoyed video. Butterfly was a nice touch
VERY NICE LITTLE POT
Hadn't seen this video before but I really liked this pot. Good job Nick! 🤩👍⭐❤
Love the wood turning but you are not as " silly "as you are now, you are much more entertaining now. Love it 2022.
Love it, gorgeous wood, lovely shape
I have been watching you for sometime now, I really enjoy watching you go through the process of making each of your projects. Your thinking moments are hilarious and where I think I cheer you on the most. This little box and its lid had me stressed. I have never seen you take such light passes except for when starting big chunky pieces. It was absolutely nerve racking I had to put my coffee down and hold my face. Then when it was obvious the bit wasn't lining up for the hole in the lid and for some reason the volume decided to go low on my laptop and I couldn't hear you talking so I stopped my laptop and jumped on my phone and on to youtube almost in a panic. Needless to say volume was better for some reason on the phone and I could finish watching the beautiful end results. Love the pot.
love the shape of this pot. so cute
Turned out nice.

I like what you have done with your small pot with the butterfly handle. The wife wants one in a similar idea. Thank you for this thought.
I'm noticing other makers use your tools. 👍🏻
Lovely piece Mr Z.
you do great work and make lovely pieces.
Love how reserved you are in these older videos
Lol...yes I noticed that too, quite serious...not anymore!...love the antics tho. Movie bits, bums, chipmunks, feathers and wigs so well done 🤣😂.
Very pretty!
Acorn Nut. Nice box indeed. Beautiful Butterfly as well!
What a beautiful piece of work, I watch your videos every night it's fascinating to watch the pieces you make. Keep up the good work, thanks
Love that
Cute!.. and butterfly knit is gorgeous.
I really like the put
It is so lovely
Sweet!
Back in the day, you were pretty calm and mellow, not much waffling- cute little pot - I do like you’re silly side more than you’re serious side - looks like you’ve come a long way learning your lathe - keep it up
Wow love you pots wow ☺️😯
+lucy zammit Thank you Lucy
Nice little vessel. Love the butterfly knob.
+AnkleBiter Woodworks Thanks Anklebiter. All the best
Very nice pot!😎
Absolutely lovely looking elm box Nick. Rather than you using a standard nut, the acorn nut you used under the lid was a rather nice touch. Good thinking on your part. Also the butterfly handle tops the elm box off....!
I'm watching this video in 2020 and so glad that you changed your style to " FUNKYNESS"!! Damn, your to quiet here!
Very beautiful
It's beautiful
You could get some modeling clay and press this in the hole then use it to use as a pattern for the lid to make it the right size. Luv
Sooo nice❣️
Sweet elm box. For my walnuts 😛
Beautiful piece of artwork! I love it!
I jumped when that knife wobbled!
Very nice work. I found this video as a recommended for me selection. Also subscribed. - Heidi
+BlackCat2 That's good to know, thanks Heidi. and thank you for watching and subscribing to the channel. All the best
Really nice project!!!
Thanks Doug
Love it
Hadn’t seen this one very nice.
Love it Nick
Lovely piece of work from an unrecognizable Nick. Least it looks lovely I think because I have just broken my glasses. Have to go to Specsavers
Well done Nick.I thought you lost the lid but all good in the finish. Cheers Roger Barossa Valley South Australia 🇦🇺..
+Roger Leslie Yes me too, it was ok . Thanks for watching Roger , its very much appreciated All the best
Have you ever tried making rings out of cool mixed up resin? Just thought it might look cool, but dont know if it would be a good idea?
Maybe rings out of wood and resin? Half and half or so...😄👍
You know, many people say they love your personality better than a music background. I sure do.
Nice little box, a few problems with the lid.I think that the B fly is a bit kitchy, a nice
wooden piece in ebony,or sissum would have given a bit better finish,All wood is better than a bit of cheap art for the finish, but thats only my opinion.Have a good day.
Hey Jim, thanks for taking the time out to watch the video. I appreciate each item I make is not going to be to everyone liking , and there is always someone that can do it better of course. however I have sold quite a few of these now! not bad sellers. Thanks for the comments.
Really like the shape of this one & the wood is pretty...just not a big fan of butterflies for decorations. Otherwise, great job, Nick! Keep up the good work!!
Hi Nick, have question for you.... how do you get rid of the wax streaks? I've been so facinated by your projects ,and often try them . I will end up with something completly different,lol.... love your vids, keep em coming, i'm learning lots. Cheers!
Beautiful! Where do you get your logo discs from?
It doesn't look out of round but it sure sounds like it is. Is that my imagination or are my eyes and ears playing tricks on me? 🇺🇸
Could you do wood Lincoln Logs in resin?
I like
This might be a stupid question mate but do the shafts on a lathe differ or are they all a standard size. I have a kinzo lathe. It's not a well known name but it works fine. I'm getting a turning chuck for it which is why I asked about the shaft.
Hey yes they do, you need to find out what thread size you have , mine is an M33. hope that helps mate.
👍
I have a calliper. If I get a measurement with that as far as what the diameter is, would you be able to tell me as I'm not 100% sure on all these m sizes and things lol
I like it better without the music
When you started this show I didn't stick a
I am so sorry that I may have inferd that your work is not up to standard,In NO=WAY
You are RIGHT,your finish, and work are 100% and if you sell,Hope you get a goooood price.
Thanks for the comment Jim. you are very kindddd person I can see. All the best as always
I like you quiet.
Did I hear a little of mrs nick in the background at 8:12?
It would be nice if the music wasn’t so loud, I turn it down but then I miss hearing you when you talk. Loud music YUCK
The music was too loud.
It is more important, to me, to hear what you are saying so I may learn the thought processes and tips as you go along.
I appreciate your zany antics and entertainment talents to keep the atmosphere light but foremost in my mind is your turning talent, tips and techniques!
XX
Sorry pot
Could you please reduce the music volume? Its very loud, if I turn it down I cant hear you talk.
Hi Nick... Will you marry me.
