While chapter 1 was a very fun experience, this is the part where the game begins to really shine. This music is nothing but beyond magical, the area looks absolutely amazing, you have your first partner with you...God I love Autumn Moutain and it's soothing theme.
Yeah, everything in this area is legendary, the music for the area and the battle theme are pure heaven to listen imo and while you could argue that the point where bobby falls off the bridge doesn't properly explain what to do next, the game makes you love bobby so much chances are, you'll instantly jump. This area is maybe the best, It's only rivaled by the green streamer imo.
"It's what every Bob-Omb hopes for...a chance to change something for the better. To make an impact." Rest in Peace, Bobby. You were more unique than you truly thought. We will honor you in the gallery of heroes.
Since the day this game came out i've been saying it: Bobby and the philosophy of life bob ombs have may look like something not that special at first, but they're both two of the most depressing and complex things ever tackled in any Mario game to date. They live thinking in how will they die, and how will that affect the rest of the world, because they're aware they won't live much, and they've accepted it. All they can hope is "to make an impact" on their way out, because they know they will simply be replaced once they're gone, by someone who looks and talks just like them. And again, they hace accepted that, which is the most depressing part. If Bobby had an unique design this would be ruined, because part of their tragedy is that they are all the same: Explosives that can be replaced, and who seek to be remembered. And Bobby is the Bob-Omb who succeeded at that, because he's easily the most remembered Bob-Omb in the Mario fandom.
It's been months since I finished this game, and to this day, the Blue Streamer remains my favorite chapter in the game by a landslide. It takes up 90% of Bobby's arc, and Bobby is easily the best character in the whole game. The last 10% of Bobby's arc is such a sad moment purely because of all the fun that was had in the Blue Streamer chapter.
I like how chapter 2's music is basically a mix of eastern music (Autumn mountain = Chinese, Shogun studios = Japanese) and western music. Makes it sound so unique.
origami king mixed music genres all the time. chapter 3's music mixed arabian-style desert music with techno music and it worked so well. it's actually kind of genius. very few soundtracks are as creative as origami king's.
@@NikitaGamer64 The OST here uses traditional Chinese instruments and techniques instead of Japanese ones 😅The Erhu is the easiest Chinese instrument to distinguish in this tune. It is not used in the Shogun Studios area, because it is not native to Japan. the erhu goes freaking hard by the way My favorite theory is: The only reason they made a different battle theme for Shogun studios is it fits the musical aesthetic better!
It Goes Castle, Forest, Town, Sewer, Hills, Mountain, River Rapids, Japanese theme park, Valley, Open Ocean, cruise Liner, Depressed Mental state, Mines, Skyless Desert, Middle Eastern Vegas, Ancient Ruins, Underground pyramid, disco, Normal desert Open ocean again, Under the ocean, various islands, Tall Sea Tower, Heaven/Spa Resort, Jungle on a Floating Island, game Show, Evil Castle, Airship as a good guy, Volcano, Big bad Origami castle, Sadness, and finally the Origami Festival; This game really takes you everywhere

Bro I cried while moving to the next area… I would never expect Nintendo to do that Also I played this game to years ago but I’ve came back to listen to the song
Music is the best part of this game, it speaks so emotionally, it feels great but also sad at the same time. It's the greatest theme from whole soundtrack imho
I just couldn't resist moving my hand as if I was playing the erhu (basically a Chinese violin/cello but unique) that is used in this theme. Especially in this part: 1:18
I love the autumn aesthetic already, but this game blew that out of the water! It was so fun to explore and even funnier to sit in an admire how beautiful it is. This goes on the list of places I would love to visit in real life!

I think it’s the music, the quests, the bosses, oh and also Snifit City!) All of the chapters were AMAZING to play through though. This game is incredible. It’s a shame I finished it.
Nah there's way better picks especially in the Paper Mario series alone. X Nauts Fortress. Dual-Bladed Duelist. Ludwig's Theme. This is good but it's not really the best
Empowering, Beautiful and Lovely. Fits the style of the place you are in and makes you feel a sense of confidence for what you have done so far and what lies ahead. 👍👍👍
This chapter absolutely blew any expectations I had about this game out of the water. Just got this game & got to this mountain & so far this is THE BEST theme music i stop moving just hear the music its giving Kung fu panda vibes in a really good way

“To make an impact”
Looking at it now, that’s one really messed up pun/foreshadowing the game throws at you
listening to that with the music playing is sad

saw the autumn mountain in the trailer....was not expecting this amazing theme song! really makes the stage special
its also the first time nintendo experiments with an Autumn Theme for an area in a mario game
It's really beautiful when you first hear this amazing theme.
But later on it just made me sentimental and sad.

honestly, this game is really underrated. I am really enjoying it so far, coming from someone whos a huge fan of the original 3.
I came from color splash, so we may not be interested in the same types of Paper Mario games but we can agree, this game is so good.
It’s certainly the best of the newer ones

The amount of Erhu in this soothes my soul as it's one of my favorite instruments. I wanna learn to play it so bad.

What confused me is that Autumn mountain's music is almost like chinese music but later when you go to Shogun Studios It’s all Japanese Themed
So is world 2 Japanese themed or a mix of japan and china
Guzheng is probably the one you’re thinking about.
The violin sounding but a completely different vibe
(Nvm I was mistaken oops)😂😂😂
