@@matopski9578 that was probably a poor example, but I think what she’s also trying to point out is how disproportionate these accusations towards Chinese athletes are vs other countries, especially the US. This year they got tested 4x more actually-so much so that the testing interfered with the athletes’ rest time. It’s a biiiit nitpicky that people are focusing on the Michael Phelps part. Missing the forest for the trees and all that… if I’m using the phrase right.

Their technological manufacturing is killing it, from prototyping, automation, battery/vehicle tech, cell phones, infrastructure, etc. their culture is booming with a whole new middle class. Movies, video games, social media. And they’re still continuing to perform well in other areas, like military, politics, amongst other. Whether that was intentional or not by the athletes, I don’t know. They could have been told to portray China as very strong and unified in contrast to how American personalities were. And now it’s more okay to showcase their personality as individuals. And the media is also showing it because it’s interesting and gets more views online.

Look at the WADA record, it's clearly double standard. The US and Canada are tested positively way more often than the Chinese. China and Japan has the same rate of positive test results at 0.2%, while US and Canada are somewhere around 1-2%. So why the focus only on Chinese athletes?

And so have a lot of other countries. Why do people think this is a good point to make? She’s asking why people suspect the Chinese athletes MORE than everyone else. Other countries have failed drug tests. It’s not only the Chinese athletes.

@@Gingabread-bw6xj it seems you dont get me. THESE ATHLETES THAT HAVE WON TESTED POSITIVE PREVIOUSLY. You get it? These individuals that medaled TESTED POSITIVE. In other countries they would have been suspended.

I think because Michael Phelps was tested and was negative while a large portion of the Chinese swim team came back positive 🤷🏽‍♀️

Has he been tested for stimulants? Asthma has always been claimed, asthma recovered as soon as I retired soon as I retired. It's amazing. He is only in his thirties now, and he is like that. Obviously, he has taken too many medicines and is not afraid to die. American swimmers are all purple faces. It's shameless to say that Chinese athletes are positive. American doping is nearly ten times as positive as China's. Are you blind😂

I mean, weren’t like multiple of the Chinese swimmers just caught doping though? It seems like a fair question to ask when several team members tested positive for the same drug that Kamila Valieva got the Russian team basically disqualified for during the last Winter Olympics…

they didn't find anything. The regulatory bodies cleared them. And such cases happen with other countries' athletes as well, except the Chinese are tested more.
