Which one would you recommend between Lenovo Legion 7i (2024) with 4070 and i9-14900HX and Asus Rog Strix G16 (2024)with 4080 and i9-14900HX. I am in middle east and both are available for the same price. Essentially i wanna go for the Strix G16 with 4080 but i’ve seen a lot of people complain about the loud coil whine and backlight bleed issues with that?
Great review thank you, quick question….how are the BLACK LEVELS, is if deep black or more grayish than black, since this is a IPS DISPLAY❓……I like the white one aswell, but, it’s way too bright for my liking,…this black one seems the right fit for me……again, great review👍
Awesome content but I'm sorry you can't make a gaming performance review benchmark without launching cyberpunk, red dead redemption, forza ... Those are gold standards in terms of comparison with other laptops. I get you wanted to do something different but you can't just skip those games. (And the Witcher 3)
Oof, Lenovo really is cooking something. That IPS is the dealbreaker though, I prefer the Zephyrus G16 over this. However, I need to go with the Omen Transcend 14 which is tiny cuz of the Asus controversy. I’m good with my fave, the Yoga 9i 16, Spectre 16, and what I have, the Envy 16 😐
@@ginglee4199 I just like the form factor of the Zephyrus G16. Furthermore, 32GB is already considered as a superb capacity let alone 64, but who needs 96GB? Even PC builders would prefer a better GPU or CPU or even additional storage in a pc. 8TB storage is an overkill
Sir please make a detailed review on lenovo loq i5 12450hx rtx 3050 and is it better for video editing ,coding and other productivity tasks or should we go for i5 13450hx with rtx 4050? ?
Does anyone know if the screen is gsync capable? That’s the one thing I cannot find info about, some people say yes, some say no. Overall though I love the look of this computer and am looking between this exact model in white, Rog Zephrys 16/14, or Hp Omen Transcend.
Well they perform the same. If you can get your hand on a legion 7slim on rtx 4070 from 2023 at a bargain go for it. Now the i9 processor got a slight advantage but basically potato potato
I bought black instead of white and I don't regret ❤
Black is a great choice!
The white colour is just gorgeous
White one is more popular for sure!
@@SoulOfTech indeed, black looks good too, but that white colour one was just beginning me to buy it, which I eventually did😃
@@devkabra992probably won’t look very nice after a year of use 😂
@@mtadc1545 well people have used white laptops for more than 2 years and luckily it's still the same😌
@@mtadc1545yuppp that why I would go with black that white will turn yellow sooner or later
Anybody else love watching these types of reviews knowing they cant afford it?😂
😫
Here is to hoping one day in the not so far future you can!
M buying it
Present 🤣
Next year, I'm promised to myself to by a laptop gaming next year🫡
thanks you for reviewing this color instead of popular glacier white
My pleasure!
Yes thank you, literally every other video out there is showing the White one!
unpopular opinion. I do prefer the black version. The white looks plastic. + In france they had rgb only on the black version so i picked black 🖤
@@bryce2fadeway I agree, also I think white will be hard to keep clean and go yellow.
@@TwentyEightySevenit won't turn yellowish cause it's aluminum
What's the difference with the pro7i ?
Thank you for the review!!!
My pleasure!

Just bought it, super hyped.. but I can’t find any videos on UA-cam showing in game fps, kinda weird
4:59 you made a typo for the cpu, it says Intel Core i9 19400HX instead of Intel Core i9 14900HX
Thanks for the review!!
You bet!
What's the difference between legion pro 7 and pro 7i? I'm a little confused 😕
7i = Intel Variants, 7 = AMD Variants
Hope this helps!

Zephyrus g16 with the soldered ram while the lenovo 7i can even take up to 96gb of ram and 8tb ssd

The omen looks like a toy😂

@@DDG_IN47 I was considering that one too, but need a much solid and professional looking laptop. Plus Legions are much more powerful in general
Could anyone say which color should i buy the white one or black
What colour really is the Eclipse Black? It looks dark Black in some lighting angles and others it looks more like an Apple Space Grey.
Definitely darker than space grey by several shades. The subtle gloss on the aluminum is what makes it look brighter than it actually is.
@@SoulOfTechOK thanks, I was just hoping it wasn’t too dark so it looks like Black plastic or something 😂

@@bryce2fadewayThe Best Buy option is way too expensive, and from Lenovo's website is sold out, so there are not great choices. 😢
yes

Needs 4 vents on the side like previous model and ports shoukd be at the back they went back to an old design that stupid

Great review and insight! What would you say are the Legion 7's top competitors?
HP Omen, ASUS ROG Z 16 and Dell Alienware series all compete in the same space.

I love the specs but my God it's SOOO ugly.
Lmao dramatic much?
