The part that describe about secondary slot of ssd should use one single side is very useful, great & thanks
Have recently recieved the Legion 7i Gen 9 PRO (RTX4090) The internal layout is a little different, the 2nd SSD slot has a battery underneath and can fit a dual sided SSD, mine now has a Crucial 4TB T700 in it
I get raised eye brows when I upgrade my laptops using branded memory and SSD, they angrily ask “why?!” Some people. Great video, always good to see upgrade videos.
what do u mean by branded memory sorry if its a stupid question
@@glimmerz3464 anything not OEM
i bought a yogs i3 with celeron years ago in 2017 and put 1`6 gb ram and a 2 tb ssd even though it said it could only take max 8 gb ram and also i used rams that had higher hz rate but the worked fine, as did 32 gb. so i dont believe the companies, they just say it to make you buy the more expensive one instead of upgrading yourself
even the wifi card is upgradable! Nice!
Just bought this laptop on cybermonday sale at BestBuy, its got the 1TB SSD and 32GB Ram. Will be looking to upgrade it and this video helps. I wanna go up to 64GB and at least 4TB SSD
same here 🤣 I'm going to steal my m.2 from my old brick
well you can just add a 4tb to the second drive and keep the 1tb as primary if you want to make your life easy :)
Same here. Great deal for $1400 at Lenovo, pickup at Best Buy. I’m gonna do the SSD 1TB/4TB combination initially. The base 32GB RAM is good for a while.
Thanks yal, I'll be doing the same. Just picked one up too ✊️
Came for the review. Left with a lasting impression. Subbed.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Do you have the fresh install guide out yet? Just got my laptop in and want to upgrade both ssds but I'm not sure how to.
Love your videos!
Thank you! just checked out your channel, you have some great videos too 😃
This video is better than ever
Great demonstration! Thank you very much.
Do a game test in this beast push its limits
OMG! I got this Laptop thinking 32 was the max allowance!!! Thank you Sir!!!
Thanks for uploading. This will replace my legion y520 which has served me well for almost 8 years. Knowing i can do this, this laptop will probably last me even longer
thank you for this, just added a 2tb drive to my own legion7
Great walk-through. Thank you. Do I really need to move the black wifi connector wire going over on the second empty ssd slot at 4:35? Also, does the ssd's on your referral link come with a mounting screw for the SSD? If not, can you share a link to purchase? Thanks again.
Got a LOQ 15ARP9 last week... Quite satisfied with my purchase so far, but yet to upgrade the SSd and RAM😢😢
You mentioned you will provide guide on how to install new system and clone?
know right. was also looking for the link but couldnt find it
Love this beast got mine 4 days ago only few problems I have is the heat. Feels warm to the touch often while gaming.
where is yours getting warm?
@@MashITTech near the power button the most. The wasd key are not hot, palm support on the sides of touch pad also not hot. But near the power button it gets hot.
I returned mine due to the heat issue and fan noise. The middle of the keyboard was always warm to the touch, and the finger scanner got toasty - as others have reported. THe keyboard was still functional, but it just wasn't a nice experience to type on such a warm keyboard. I bought a Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i instead, which offers superior, built quality, screen, speakers, fan noise, webcam, keyboard hit, at the sacrifice of 0-20% decrease in gaming FPS.
@@kasperkorea well it depends on person to person and how u use it. When I m in Ac room and the back of the laptop is raised up a little….i did not notice that much heat and also the temps while playing Witcher 3 at 3.2k with dlss etc was around 75-78
@@kasperkorea yoga pro 9i was my 1st choice also but sadly it’s not available in India. I wanted G16, but even that wasn’t available in India. So this was the best option within my budget and requirement.
Hi, thank you so much for your videos, beautiful. Do you know if linux Ubuntu works well on this laptop?
Oh sorry mate, I haven't actually tested that
@@MashITTech Don't worry, thanks anyway
It does. You should have no worries. Every Lenovo runs Ubuntu fine.
Thank you very much
Thanks for the video! just received my Legion 7i (i9-14900H/4070/32/1TB) last week and my hands are itchy for upgrades. One question though, for the secondary SSD slot, looks like the single sided SSD is placed on top of the Wifi kit cable, will the heat and/or pressure from the secondary SSD damage/ melt the Wifi kit cable? thanks in advance! P/s: looking forward for the drive cloning video.
I'm about to purchase the same laptop. What's your thoughts on it after using it? Thanks.
that makes absolutely no sense. why would they have designed it that way?
@@EthanSkinner-vb9ww I'm more than impressed and happy with my purchase! been my primary laptop ie work, gaming and photo editing. looking for a better (compact) power supply though since the power brick is massive.
@@farishahkmzn8072 thanks for the reply. I received mine last week, and agree an absolute beast with a sharp resolution.
@@farishahkmzn8072 Lenovo Legion Original C140 140W GaN USB-C Type-C PD 3.1 Charger I bought it on Ebay, works perfectly and is ultra portable, totally recommend it. For context, I own the same Legion model you do. Hope this helps!
I installed a p3 in slot 2 and it's not showing in device or disk manager , wtf did I do wrong?
Got mine coming in next week 😎 I'll be doing the RAM and SSD upgrades you've shown here 👍
Not seeing the links to the guide for the fresh OS install that you're mentioning in the video or the cloning link - any chance you could get back here with those???
Cheers!!
Sorry, I completely forgot to create teh fresh install guide. I have a new T14s with no OS arriving later this week, I will use that to create teh guide.
@@MashITTech Cool 😎
Hey there great video. Just got this laptop for cyber monday. Do you happen to know if either the CPU or GPU uses Liquid Metal?
Thanks for this video! Just purchased a no os lenovo legion 7i, could you make a video how to set it up?
I have a new T14s Gen 6 arriving later this week with no OS, I will try and record the process and upload it for you :)
@@MashITTechthank you so much! :)
Hi @MashITTech Any news on that Lenovo fresh Windows install tutorial?
i know right. was also looking for the link but couldnt find it
What do you recommend for this laptop as a more budget option than Samsung 990 pro? Single sided, and with DRAM?
Great video! Can you do a benchmark comparison between Kingston Fury and CORSAIR VENGEANCE 64GB DDR5-5600MHz?
Exactly the video I needed and wanted. In the market for a new laptop, thinking about a MacBook M3 Pro Max with 64 gigs and 2 tb, but I just cannot justify spending that much cash. This is my next choice and I want to upgrade to 96 and 4 or 8 tb, so thank you,
Yeah, Macs are already massively expensive but when you add apples crazy upgrade prices then the total cost becomes criminal! This is one area widows machines always win and I always buy base spec and upgrade myself. Plus this legion looks and feels amazing plus has good ports and a full SD card. If you get one make sure you get the upgraded screen option as I am guess you are using this for creative work if you were considering a MacBook
@@MashITTech Correct, I work for a Dutch television quiz, which, apart from making the questions themselves, involves making videos and imagery accompanying the questions and for that I use After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator.
And the 16 gig 13" M1 Pro I got from work doesn't cut it, so I do most of it on my own pc, which is getting a bit long in the tooth with its 8 cpu cores. And since I freelance a bit as well, I would like a good laptop of my own. So it is either this one and an eventual upgrade to the insides of my pc, OR go ballls to the wall on an MB Pro Max and keep the pc just for fun and games and not upgrade.
But I do like tinkering and upgrading my gear myself 😉
And the thing about having a gaming laptop instead of a Mac is that guess what you can actually game on it. And the CPU gets similar benchmark scores to a M2 MAX on battery. Of course you won't get 24hour battery but you'll get 6 to 8 and in my opinion that's good enough for the power it provides.
@@joshuagarcia2868 well... gaming is not my aim with the laptop. At least hardcore fps farming, because I get that on my pc. And I do really like the ridiculous efficiency of the mac.
But the price... in the Netherlands it is even more expensive than in most other countries. The config I would like cost 5600 euros here. But of at least I have tax deduction. But the Lenovo it will probably be.
Great video. Thanks.
Although I don't see the promised links to the fresh install
That’s not quite finished, will add link soon
I own this same laptop and the MAX RAM specification is 64GB set by Lenovo themselves on it as they made the motherboard. 96GB is NOT compatible on this board. I ran the WMIC command line that directly polls the motherboard for the RAM and its results are the following:
"C:\Windows\System32>wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices
MaxCapacity MemoryDevices
67108864 2"
So when you tried out the 96GB RAM, it was way way overspec for the machine and I am surprised that your attempt did not fry the RAM chips and/or the machine in totality and is probably why it was worse than 64GB because it was not made for 96GB.
WMIC Command you need to know for more vids in the future is "wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices", this will poll the motherboard for that purpose. Please refrain from going overspec on motherboard RAM slots in the future as it is NOT worth the risk!
Nice to know, what about the ssd? Is there also a limit there?
@@MarioLariosOfficial That I do not know, but I would suspect that 4TB may be the limit here, which is an educated guess based upon ownership of older laptops that were capped at 2TB max in 2022-2023 with 2 NVME slots
Ouch! I thought 96GB would work well on this machine. But Lenovo’s website lists the max RAM as 32GB. I’m not sure if that’s per slot or the total capacity. Do you think 64GB would work just fine? Now I know I definitely need to avoid 96GB.
@@nij3433-k6m I got this on my Legion 5 i7-10750H 17" RTX2060, but i've been running 2x32GB Kingston Fury for over a year now, no problem or hick up's what so ever;
PS C:\Windows\system32> wmic
wmic:root\cli> memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices
MaxCapacity MemoryDevices
33554432 2
...next machine of mine is gonna be a 128GB RAM one 🥰
Did you run crystal desk after changing the ssd? If yes, can you share results?
Two quick questions:
If I have a Gen7 Legion, could I upgrade to a Samsung 990 Pro, or would it have to be a Samsung 980Pro or 970 Evo ( I think it is)? Do I need the added heatsink version for a gen7; beneficial or no? And why would you need 96gb of RAM? Would it even make that much of a difference going with that much over 64gb?? Apart from speed, which is only slightly better with the Cruucial 96BGB
love your videos man. but is it possible to max it out to 16TB (8TB on each side)???
exactly
Both Crucial and kingston modules support XMP to reach 5600, please confirm if you have checked the BIOS advanced settings to enable the XMP profile properly.
Hope they bring on oled version of this out 😻
Great update.. But there are faster ram kits now and i would live to see ssd gen 4 vs ssd gen 5..
Oh, I hadn't noticed faster ram kits releasing! I will go and take a look. And good point on the Gen 5 ssd's I should have got some in
@mashittech Hi, another question: can you use the i7 in clamshell mode? Or does that get too hot.
at the end of the day does it matter which brand to get crucial or kingston? looking to get crucial 32gb ddr5 5600hx for the exact same laptop
Dave, Hello! If you have time, I have an off-topic to this video question regarding your S300 rtx4070 build.
I will be traveling and living in different countries for the foreseeable future, but I really do not want to give up the PC experience for my work and games. I was thinking about copying your S300 build, however i have to know - do you feel like the GPU and Cooler are mounted secure enough to pack that PC into a suitcase and take it by plane, or will I have to disassemble it, and wrap the GPU individually every time I have to get on a flight? Thank you for your answer in advance, please don't feel like you have to respond, i understand if you do not have the time
🙏
If possible I would try and get a small bag to hold it and peripherals and take it as carry on. If you do put it in suitcase it should be fine if you make sure it was all well screwed together and you pack clothes etc around the case to give it some padding. I have seen the way they treat suitcases which is why I would always go the carry on route
Does the laptop come with 1 stick of 1 TB SSD installed and one free slot or 2 512 GB SSDs one in each?
Curious why you chose the slower SSD for Games?
had the same question, like aside from rendering video, games need speed more any other application
Did you enable XMP from bios to recover the speed? If yes what was the result?
Is the WiFi card also upgradable? The standard Realtek 8852CE is not performing at all.. constantly loses connection or not making connection at all..
It is upgradable. I just upgraded mine yesterday. I had the same issue as you had with Realtek as well. I could connect with other wi-fi networks but my home one was intermittent. It was very frustrating. I just purchased an Intel Wi-Fi card and it's great. No more issues.
I've Lenovo 7i 15Mgh05, on specs wrote can upgrade max to 32gb but I dont know if as per slot or on total? Same with M.2 storage say max to 1tb but dont know if per slot or total?
where is the link for the fresh install guide?
So are there any kits that you know of that will actually register 5600? Because I’m not taking a step down
Thanks for the vid, The 8tb works?
I didnt have one to test but it may work in the right slot. it wont fit on the left as its too shallow for the rear chips
Hi!, do you happen to experience any stuttering for this model? I'm looking into buying a reliable good laptop and really like your reviews! Could you possibly do a comparison for this with Razer blade 14/16 and Asus strix?
I updated the BIOS and now it is lagging on webpage scrolling while being on 240Hz 😢
What to do?
I got the 7i legion 4060 8gb RAM....will these upgrades work for me too
Hi, have you ever upgraded a graphics card in the Lenovo Legion laptops?
They are soldered to the motherboard so cannot be changed
Any chance of the drive in second slot burning up the wires underneath?
I saw that you got the Realtek Wifi Adapter, any issues on connectivities? Im not so sure of returning mine due to it is impossible to use due to that constant stutter, like it completely disconnects and reading on the event viewer it disconnects de whole adapter for some reason. I got it like a few days ago and everywhere i read they said about changin that adapter but idk
Will the 6400MT/s Kingston Fury work as well?
is it your daily driver?
give us some thought about battery life, thermal (on body), fan noise?
is it even workable from the lap? heard many rumors that it is too hot for this
No it is not, I use a Thinkpad as my daily driver. I wouldn't want to be working with a large laptop like this on my lap but if you did you would want to switch to quiet mode for lower temps but even then it will heat up on your laptop as you will be blocking the in take vents
@@MashITTech got you. thanks)) thinkpad is awesome my favorite style laptop, but is way too expensive, i am on m1 max 14" at the moment, but thinking to switch to Samsung galaxy book 4 ultra, or Asus Zephyrus G16 / g14, but i dont know would i be able to use it as macbook, lying in bed / on the lap))
i have a question my default where does the ssd slot is place for 1 tb by defualt and should i buy 4tb is it onsided no sure can you help me
Man, the white version looks so good, but we all know it would get dirty very quickly.
Can I just leave the stock OS drive and add another one in the spare slot for expanded storage?
you absolutely can, I only change it to show its possible
I recently bought a new Legion 7i gen 9 (32GB, 4070, 1TB), because my HP Pavilion Gaming laptop 15ec from november 2020 was beyond repair. This HP contains a 1TB SSD. It's a WD 1TB SSD PC SN730 NVMe SSD / 1TB M2.2280-S3-M. Of course I can buy a new SSD for a lot of money, but is it smart to place this SSD in the second slot?
You absolutely can. The sn730 is a gen 3 drive but should still work fine in the gen 4 slot 👍
@@MashITTech Thanks for your fast reply! I guess this SSD is still in perfect order, so I wil install this one. ;-)
@@MashITTech It worked, but I got a few problems with the WiFi+BT connectors. The small connectors came loose. Was a lot of trouble to reconnect them. Not very reliable connectors ...
If I get the SN850 with heatsink will it still fit? I’m asking because with the heat sink it’s $50 less. Hoping to buy soon because of sales rn
Sadly it will not, the heatsink is too thick. 😢
@ ok thanks for the speedy response!
Is there a speed difference from the Factor 1T Drive vs the SN850X drive?
What about Upgrading with i9 14900hx
I think 98GB it can handle 5600mhz
Some SSD questions: Does the Samsung 990 fit in the secondary slot? Does the included SSD fit in the secondary (so could we just swap spaces with a new WD)? Thanks. Great video!
Yes to both questions. The Samsung 990 pro without heatsink will definitely fit in either slot. Although the Samsung 990 pro with the heatsink will probably not fit.
Would it be possible to move the original SSD drive from the main slot to the secondary slot? I was thinking of buying a SN850X to put in the main slot as it can fit properly and still utilize the orig SSD in secondary.
you absolutely can do that. I would take it out, install windows on the new drive, then when you are happy it's all working put the original drive in the second slot and format it. Oh unless you wish to keep windows on the old drive and use the sn850x as a secondary, that is also fine
@@MashITTechyour video just said the SN850X doesn’t fit in the secondary as it’s a double sided SSD. That’s why I was thinking of moving the original over to the secondary slot
Yeah I sort of realised that half way through answering :)
@@MashITTech All good! Your videos are very helpful in many ways. Is it possible to confirm the original SSD drive fits in the secondary slot without issues? It would be tremendously helpful 🙏🏻
I still find it quite silly for Lenovo to have an important wire over the secondary SSD slot.
Great video! Been waiting for this one. Quick question though, would the WD SN850X SSD with heat sink variant fit in the primary drive slot?
My guess is the heatsink will be too thick as it is for the majority of newer laptops.
Sadly not, the SN850 with heatsink is designed for desktops and way to thick to fit into laptop. Plus the base has thermal pads that touch the SSD when you put the base plate back on so you cannot use any heatsinks on this model nor do you need to :)
Thanks for chiming in Cueball981, you are spot on.
I order a new legion i7 GEN9, but i want to have extra capacity adding a new SSD disk.
Question: It's better to install a secong SSD before the first windows start/configuration, or... after the first windows configuration?
after is probably easier. But it's only a case of going into disk management after you are in windows and initialising the second drive. takes less than a minute :)
Hey @Mash IT what would you prefer between pro 5i and 7i. Both @i9 and 4070
just to confirm did you mean this 7i or the pro 7i? it gets confusing with the naming scheme. If you meant this 7i then I would choose it every time, its a fantastic machine with way better build quality, better screen options and I like the SD card slot
@@MashITTech should I get the i9 version of 7i (new slim) then ? . How much of an upgrade is the i9 when compared to i7 ?
I would get the i7. The i9 has a few more cores which may be useful if you do heavy CPU work. But for gaming higher clock speeds are better than more cores and because the i7 has less cores to power it can boost each core as high or higher than i9
@@MashITTech I plan on doing coding work . Very less gaming . Is the i9 better in that case ? Looking for speed here
Another great video ! That 90+ GB RAM killed me 😂 would it affect thermal stability?
Thank you mate and surprisingly I didn't see any extra heat with the 96gb kit! Legion do a good job on the thermals and even the ram bays had thermal pads and the shielding
That's awesome ! I am planning to upgrade RAM on my Alienware M18 R2 but wasn't sure which brand I should go for or even if I need thermal pads or something. Thank you, I love your videos❤
I am wondering if it can run 6400 kits? By all specs it should be compatible even if not official.
I upgraded both ssd slots with 990 Pro 4TB. As far as the RAM, I’m going to wait until I see actual game run time with the Fury 64GB kit.
Is there a chance that 990 pro with heatsink will fit in these slots? Any idea? I am guessing that you are using the without heatsink variants.
Hi. Could you, please, test it with the external 4k 120Hz monitor. I'm wondering will it work over the DP with 120Hz on both integrated (for office work) and dedicated graphics.
And the second request may be more complex. If you don't mind, could you install one of the modern Linux OSs (Ubunu, Manjaro, Fedora) in order to show whether all the parts of the laptop are working as expected (sound, 165 Hz inner display, wi-fi, external display, switching the power modes, etc.). I'm considering to buy it firstly for the work and only at the second for the entertainment.
Ah, and you did not say anything about the keyboard. At least in comparison with the ThinkPad's keyboards. From the perspective of work -- key travel, preciseness, multi-press (4 or 5 simultaneous pressing). Also could you shed light on the Right CTRL key (its absence).
I think I'm not the only one considering it for work. It is likely that the answers to these questions will be of interest to others and make the review more complete affecting more categories of likely users.
Should i Upgrade it because i only got it with a 4060 and the 4070 was out of stock so is it still a worthy Upgrade?
The 4060 is still a solid card and if it plays the games you want then yes, upgrade it especially if you are running low on storage. Ram wise that depends on what you use the laptop for and how much you currently have
I think i have the same laptop but the secondary ssd seems to only fit in a smaller m.2 ssd. according to the documentation i read on the lenovo website about the laptop i have, it mentions m.2 2242. I'm wondering if you have tested a 2242 m.2 ssd or 2230 ssd yet?
thats odd. can you give me your model number?
@@MashITTech sorry i checked it again, it is a 2280 slot but 2242 m.2 was also mentioned in one of the documents for this model on their website. I have a legion 7i gen9 16irx9.
Which one was C drive and D drive? I just want to upgrade the storage drive not the os drive
I think both drives will work well but , if that would be my case i will choose the wd black for my data
Can you do this on the 9i Gen9 ? for the SSD ? I contacted lenovo UK they said max is 1tb on each slot. Im not sure if they know what they were saying, are you able to confirm this ? Thanks and nice video.
haha they never do. Yes you certainly can. There is a BIOS battery underneath the SSD bays so full double sided 8tb drives may not fit but 4tb single sided and even the 4tb sn850x with some chips on rear should fit fine.
What would a crucial 4tb t705 do in a pro 7i?
I have put a T700 in. My layout is different to the Mash IT one. Fits double sided SSD in 2nd slot
Juicy. I have a Gen 8, default 32 GB 5700 RAM But added a Samsung 980 2 TB to the one default 1 TB Hynix. I'm fine enough for now, but this config still makes me drool.
But I didn't notice the "vast difference" in the RAM speed. Did I miss something?
Hey @MashIT
I updated the BIOS and now it is lagging on webpage scrolling while being on 240Hz 😢
What to do?
I am assuming you rebooted the laptop and it is still doing it? if it is constant get online with support ASAP, they will need to know and can probably issue you an alternate BIOS
The Kingston Fury ram module KF556S40IBK2-64 was not in stock so I just ordered two KF556S40IB-32. Is there any difference between these two ?
sorry, I missed this one. buying 2 singles is exactly the same as the kit so no problem there at all
Can you pop 2 8TB MVME SSD drives gen 4 in to an 11gen i9 Acer predator
this is literally exactly the stuff I threw into mine!!!!
Hiya, when upgrading the ram to 64GB, is there anything else to do other than unplugging the battery and putting the new sticks in? When I try upgrade to 64GB of ram, even after a 10 minute wait, the laptop does not boot. Is there anything I can try do regarding this?
You have to boot it by plugging in the charger.
Why not use the faster drive for the games drive?
because IMHO it only helps load times on the odd game and its marginal at best. The OS drive on the other had is getting constant calls from OS, Apps and software so seems to make the system snappier
@@MashITTech Sounds good, though, when i went from a Hard Drive to a SSD i was able to then play games that were previously unplayable, seems like storage speed is a helpful thing with gaming.

you can use your baby’a suction cup bowls to pry backplate off
Use your both hands to lift up the ram plate, thumb and index. Take it slow.
And yes you have to unscrew the screw to put it the sad just like the other ssd

yes, definitely, I should have mentioned that for this that enabled it
@@MashITTech what is bitlocker? i have the same lenovo 71 with the 4070 240hz and plan to upgrade the ssd down the line, i want at least 4tb

This laptop in stock is 32gb ram can it be upgraded to a dual channel 2x32 gb of ram (64 gb ram)
Yes it can, just remove the current 32 and replace with the new 2x 64gb. I recommend the fury I linked, they work perfectly and have good latency lomings
Does the upgradability also work, even if I get one with 16GB pre-installed?
yes you just need to remove the 16gb and replace with the kit you want (unless you have 1x 16gb stick then you could just add a second)
@@MashITTech Can the laptop still be upgradable if it has one 512 GB SSD stick and 2x8GB RAM sticks?
I just upgraded to 64gb kingston fury ram kit brand new but my legion 7 pro gen 9 keeps doing blue screen of death randomly... please can you tell me the reason cause the rams are brand new
did you buy the 5600mhz ram kit? I haven't tested this years Legion pro gen 9 but it worked fine in last years gen 8! when does it blue screen? does it give you an error code?
Can someone elaborate what 'Boot on mains' means in this context? Just booting up without being on charger or...?
sorry, plug in the charger and turn on. If you try and turn on the laptop whilst on battery after upgrading the laptop it will not power on
this laptop vs Alienware, which do you prefer?
That is a hard question. The x16 can go up to 4090 but the dim screen, soldered ram and core ultra being less powerful than 14th gen means I would probably take this. That Alienware keyboard though.....
I dont trust the thermals system in Alienware laptops anymore as me n a friend found out that they use cheap azz fans in them, which is sad for the money you pay for them. The Lenovo Legion 2024 is pretty easy to clean too... had mine for 3 weeks and NO DUST came out of it on the first run!
I already own a macbook pro and I need a gaming laptop for Architectural 3D rendering and gaming too, can you tell me at least 3 laptops for best option which is around $3500
same here
Thank You!!!!!
Guide for fresh install pls!!!

@@MashITTech thank you! Love your videos.
@@MashITTech thank you! Love your videos.
works that on lenovo legion 7 pro?
sure does but you have ssd heatsinks to remove on the 7 pro. I also did a video on upgrading a 7 pro if you have any concerns :)
@MashITTech oh thanks for the info that helps me a lot because I want to increase the ram and the ssd
Recently got the Legion 7i, but the WIFI is quite slow, I wonder why?
Maybe upgrade the wifi card. It's not the most powerful from Lenovo's model. The killer wifi card is on the 7pro and 9
It's best to upgrade as I did. It's simple to replace and no further problems. The Realtek just doesn't work well.
