Oosh, I beg to differ on the end can point. Standard can is straight through so when I had mine I just did a decat and ran the standard can, it sounded amazing.
I have a 2021 Yamaha MT 10 with a two brothers S1R decat system with an ECU Flash and it sounds badass. The factory seat you might as well throw in the fire pit and the comfort seat honestly is not that much better. I purchased a custom made seat tailored to my height weight and inseam which cost me $750 from Corbin. I would recommend this seat to anyone that has this bike. I was only able to ride about 50 miles before I had to get off my bike when I had the factory seat but now I can run the motorcycle out of gas and if it had twice as much fuel capacity I could run that out as well. One’s broken and it is much more comfortable.
Am getting one in new year a 2023sp all ready got parts for it and not even got bike yet but got full akrapovic exhaust carbon front mudguard al have it stickerd to match some real nice oil cooler and rad guards had them made look the nuts 🤪 might start doing them once next year
Hey man, got it mapped by John at JB motorcycle services. Here’s the link to his FB: facebook.com/JbMotorcycleServices I can’t fully remember about the headlight covers but I think maybe here: www.slipscreens.co.uk/product/yamaha-mt10-2016-headlight-protector/
I have a 2022 MT 10 and I can't stand the colors, difinately going to repaint it! The only other bitch I have is that I can't find a good touring wind screen! All the ones that are available that are specific to that model are all to low, they don't even come up to the height of the mirrors. Does anyone know of one thats specific to the 2022 model thats higher than the mirrors???
Did you keep the stock air filter , I've been really thinking about the long term engine life of the bike and want to keep stock one as the mesh racing ones let a lot of dirt through which is fine on a race bike that gets rebuilt more but on a road bike I wouldn't mind loosing one or two horses to keep the engine cleaner , what do you guys think 👍🏼
I have the standard air filter in mine, to be honest I think the air filter is a very minor modification which in reality you’re aren’t going to notice much if at all. If your bike is standard not really worth changing to a race one anyway!
I would like to cat delete for the weight but I refuse anything that makes the bike significantly louder. Bur I cant find really big and quiet end cans ....anyone know of such? Ya know the original FZ1 etc did not have cats they had just huge muffler (end can) so I mean obviously it is doable
all the talk about de catting them is bullshit. they have a high flow sports cat in them anyway. as standard. when i got mine tuned my tuner told me all about the BS regarding the de cat on these bikes. i just put a Pro race end can on mine and it sounds amazing
I am from England yes, as far as I’m aware it’s illegal to modify an exhaust after it’s been ‘type approved’ for road use. So a straight up race can wouldn’t be for road use. I believe the police here use a tester up to 90db depending on engine capacity. I’ll be honest though they seem not to really bother unless your exhaust is very excessively loud. Also the fine for a loud exhaust is £50 I think so a lot of people risk it.
I’d ring up some specialists. Mines running Woolich software, and had it installed/custom mapped at John Barnes Motorcycle Dyno. If you’re local to him, I’d thoroughly recommend him. 👍
@@elvisthewart670 I went and tried the new MT10 2 weeks ago and there were a number of things I didn't like on it. I did 60 odd miles on it and when I got back, I thought, would I change this for my 2018 model and the answer is NO. I also don't think the new model looks as nice from the side. Just my opinion, of course. I hope you enjoy yours.

That is true, but I’m always choosing a Akra/pipewerx/arrow over a standard one! As long as you get the noise out I suppose 😂
yep, get all the sliders boiz. also get a progressive steering dampener - it'll save your life - it saved mine.
Finally bought my mt10 2022 :) got heated grips and comfort seat exhuast is standard atm kinda sounds nice as is
Great stuff! You like it? They do sound great no matter what the exhaust is I think!

keep watching your vids trying to push myself to buying a mt10
I have Instagram too if you really want to tease yourself 😂. Only you can decide dude! Try one out?
@@BikeLikeMike92 i had one after a bike accident they let me use it for 3 weeks but it had to go back lol been wanting that ich scratched since =)
Sounds like your mind is already set then… 🙃
@@BikeLikeMike92 ye I'm on a gsxr 750 atm so kinda miss the upright riding style :)
Good video, someone with an mt10 rides past my work every day and they just sound filthy. One of the finest exhaust noises about with an end can
My mate used to ride past my house every day and I thought exactly the same thing 😂 probably what hooked me the most. Thanks for watching 😊
@@BikeLikeMike92 Exactly the same with me. Had mine 4 1/2 years now. No, you don't need an end can.
@@RichardASK just a decat pipe 😈
Which quadlock Mount do you use for that positioning? Just the standard one as I know evotech sell one which looks similar to this?
Yea standard handlebar mount, just took off the lever bit, added a vibration dampener and that’s it! Just central on the handlebar.
Hey buddy where did you get your mt10 mapped and also could I have the link for the headlight cover ?

Are u from England? So using a racing muffler is not a traffic violation in your country?
