    I am 34 years of old. I have fished most of my life. I have taken some time off due to a 8 year habbit. I am 3 months sober now and like most addicts I turn my addiction into another, FISHING and I LOVE IT!!! I went out and got my self a decent Abu Garcia Low Profile Pro-Max Combo with a 7' medium heavy rod. I want to thank you and fishing for keeping me passionate about something thats truly wonderful. You are a great teacher and just subscribed yesterday. You are a master at your craft sir and keep up the good work. PS Froggin is my LIFE i am always down to DTF (Down To Frog)

      BamaBass. Since your the Professor of topwater action. I thought you might be able to help....I once had a cross breed between a popper and spook. It had a face like a popper but the bottom side of the face came to a point. Almost the shape of a heart...if the top side of the heart was rounded off.. (}

    not only did I like this format it is the reason I subscribed, with so much bass info online these breakdowns help viewers to remember the overall use of each piece of gear/technique.
    thanks for doing this

    Thankyou from Southern Africa.
    We have serious heat here in Summer. 40 degrees C at times.
    I find top water does well for large mouth over here.
    Really enjoy poppers on flat water without wind.
    Really love this Bass fishing.
    It’s incredible stuff man

    Man, what an informative overview. I watch several of the you tubers I consider more informative that the run on the mill people. But watching this, I had no idea how ignorant I was about these topwaters. I know have to watch every one of your teaching vids. Teaching vids are my favorite. I am much more informed and less ignorant that I was, when I took up fishing again in April. Wow but a long way to go. Thanks for your help, and love the blow up vids. If you had a printed area, where i didnt have to take notes so fast, lol. But I wouldnt give all my hard work away that easily either. I you travel to Louisiana, and fish any of the lakes arount North East Louisiana, let me hear from you ..............DS toledo bend, caddo, and it puts you close to Texoma, Lake of the Pines, Sam rayburn, and Lake fork. Good look and thanks .......................... educational.................. yeh

    The 5 part series would be awesome! 3) Understanding Big Bass and 5) Cameras and filming would be the two I would mostly be interested in especially if you can recommend cameras. The blow up videos are awesome! But I really enjoy your educational videos because out of all the guy I watch you hands down catch the biggest fish on a consistent basis and I really like to know how you do it. One more thing I just received my first Whopper Plopper from you guys on Monday. Took it out Tuesday morning and caught 13 in about an hour...awesome lure!

    This was really helpful, thanks. We normally fish trout but found ourselves at a lake with massive stripers jumping all around us. We were throwing every type of lure at them and only caught Croppie, so clearly we were using the wrong lure for the conditions. Looking forward to trying out your recommendations next time!

    Can't say enough about the quality of your videos and how much info they provide. They have changed my game and shortened my learning curve. Also, I appreciate the fact that you portray your wife in the videos. She really looks like a sweet lady who loves to be with you and loves to fish. She has been a great example to my own wife, whom I love dearly, and whom I love to have in my boat. Question: your opinion on wake baits and when they are most productive(Ozark lakes?)

    Also the weight of lure is important too. Now you can get cheap lures from ebay or aliexpress but they are lightweight than more expensive lures. Weight helps lure to sink and once you pull it it makes better popping sound. So more expensive lures in most cases does better job.

    do an educational series. I'm learning to fish because my 3 year old wanted to fish. he is hammering bluegill with a mickey mouse rod, a safety bobber and hot dogs while I am trying to learn myself. I've been using Texas rigged senkos and crank baits and have been catching small bass. just bought a small frog and spinner bait to try. I think a series with an A-Z for beginners would be killer. rod/reel setup, 3-5 lures for beginners and how/when to fish them, what kind of line to use, how to tie knots, tools of the trade like needle nose pliers and clippers/scissors, how to bank fish and spot good areas etc
