An expert top water fisherman says to count to 3 after the blow up before you actually set the hook. Apparently it gives them time to actually get it inhaled properly.
I always have trouble when i use braid on my bait caster. Could you possibly make a video about the braid you use, and how to keep it from nesting up? Or am i just thinkin too hard about it? Lol

I took a friend of mine who had never been fishing before in his life and his 40 years old fishing for the first time high tide on the Ozark trails version of the patroller and pointed to a spot just off of a windblown point and told him to cast there and reel it back he did what I said and on his first cast he caught a 6.3 lb largemouth bass. Is very first fish he ever caught was 1/2 lb bigger than my personal best largemouth. Unfortunately not too long after that he got hit by a car and is not physically capable of getting to any of the fishing spots anymore. I'm just glad he got the thrill of a topwater blow up before he got hurt. Maybe someday he will be able to go fishing again because I know he got the taste for it on that bite.
Plan on filming some challenges next week! Any ideas? 🔥💯

let the bait moving slowly sometime, you will catch more.
Is it bad if I’m right handed but I prefer left handed because I’m more comfortable fighting fish with my right?
