Hey bro, thanks for taking the time to have this video. I have a 1987 YJ Wrangler and the pump just went out. I used a cheap electric to get by, but then that went. Anyhow, I like your additional detail on the machine! I see this was 3 years ago, I hope you haven't been bored. ;)
Some engine have a removeable spacer block. If that is disturbed, then the second gasket will fit behind that block. The block is between the pump and the engine block.

This is a 4.0 yj? I do believe the 2.5 is in the gas tank with sender unit at least mine is on 1990 2.5, unless the prior owner moved it.

you forgot short bolt / long bolt.............to hold push rod in place....................
I cut mine with the tank in and it was fine
