Also, knowing Otto saw the Dvalin in Teyvat not too long ago, it is safe to assume that the timelines are not too distant from one another. If they ever wanted to connect Genshin to the other games or have more collabs, making the timelines really distant would kill that business opportunity. So I can safely tell you that it is VERY likely that the hi3, hsr, and Genshin worlds exist simultaneously, just really far away from eachother on the tree

But in 5.1 we got two more pieces of data confirming this view and negating the idea that the Abyss has always been a part of Teyvat, or is older than the Primordial One. First the new KFC wings that confirm that the 2nd Descender or 2nd Who Came or 2nd "customer" is the world devouring demon that is the Abyss. Second the comment by Mavuika with Yohuatxxxxxx where Mavuika says that the Abyss invaded Teyvat around the same time as the war with the 2nd. "Invaded" meaning coming to Teyvat from outside. So the idea imported from the Honkai games of an Imaginary vs a Quantum doesn't exist in Genshin, and if you insist on matching a pair up like that then it would be Celestia as the Imaginary and Abyss as the Quantum. Havent completed the vidoe yet so this could be mentioned later, but I would like to note that the Vidiyahadara do not reincarnate if killed before getting to an egg, Vidiyahadara also do not reincarnate, so unless the permanance left minor differences in all of their species, the fact soverigns do reincarnate after death, even after their bodies are destroyed or even taken by them to create other lifeforms (I believe Neuvillete's previous incarnation's bones were crushed and birthed into smth but I forgot what it was) is a major difference, also Vidiyahadara can't reprodouce, idk if soveriegns and vishaps can tho, but they probs can considering Apep made those little things
For the sake of both games I hope HoYo doesn't really link them like that, why? They didnt come from the sky like How you would in Reality.. Bc you would need spaceships.. Even the Advanced civilisations of HSR cant travel like that. LOVE this theory! Ever since we got introduced to the Vidyadhara and Long in Star Rail I've been so sure that there's a connection to Genshin. I think it's really fun that we can find lore in one Hoyoverse game that could relate to the lore of another Hoyo game. I'm guessing it's intended since it's called Hoyoverse after all. My biggest question with this theory which I really enjoy is Zhongli. Because if I remember correctly is also a black dragon and theorized to be a descender. How would he fit into all of this and would he have the same power as the “natural” dragon sovereign’s? Especially since the geo throne is still in place and he doesn’t have the gnosis?

Ok ok, crazy thought, but please hear me out … the Katzlien bloodline is a Dragon lineage. Do I have any evidence behind this? Are you crazy, of course not, I just like the absolute idea that Diona (and every Katzlien Descendant, heck, even the other Animal Characters probably) is a descendant of a Dragon. I mean, we know humans were made by Phanes … but what about the non-humans?? Did Phanes want to make the Katzlien Race, the Yokai, we know that the Jinn and Aranara race were made by gods, even the Fontainians. Venti was an elemental Lifeform, so those can apparently gain sentience. We even see the Dendro Sovereign make that Fungi Species thing that I’ve forgotten the name of. So, a Dragon Sovereign is capable of creating life to some extent, even the Primordial Elements of the world can shape humans, it just needs a Dragon Sovereign to turn the Primordial Element into Blood- Oh!! With that being said … was the Katzlien bloodline from a Cat species that wanted to live like a human, and was granted this desire by a Dragon Sovereign? If this is the case, there should be a Dragon Sovereign who isn’t that upset with the human species if they had enough of an understanding to accept such a desire.

LOVE this theory! Ever since we got introduced to the Vidyadhara and Long in Star Rail I've been so sure that there's a connection to Genshin. I think it's really fun that we can find lore in one Hoyoverse game that could relate to the lore of another Hoyo game. I'm guessing it's intended since it's called Hoyoverse after all. Ok ok, crazy thought, but please hear me out … the Katzlien bloodline is a Dragon lineage.
Do I have any evidence behind this? Are you crazy, of course not, I just like the absolute idea that Diona (and every Katzlien Descendant, heck, even the other Animal Characters probably) is a descendant of a Dragon.
I mean, we know humans were made by Phanes … but what about the non-humans?? Did Phanes want to make the Katzlien Race, the Yokai, we know that the Jinn and Aranara race were made by gods, even the Fontainians. Venti was an elemental Lifeform, so those can apparently gain sentience. We even see the Dendro Sovereign make that Fungi Species thing that I’ve forgotten the name of.
So, a Dragon Sovereign is capable of creating life to some extent, even the Primordial Elements of the world can shape humans, it just needs a Dragon Sovereign to turn the Primordial Element into Blood- Oh!!
With that being said … was the Katzlien bloodline from a Cat species that wanted to live like a human, and was granted this desire by a Dragon Sovereign? If this is the case, there should be a Dragon Sovereign who isn’t that upset with the human species if they had enough of an understanding to accept such a desire.
