My apologies for mispronouncing Ronova name I've always struggled with mixing words or even reading words that arent there its been that way since I was in middle school and its so natural to me I dont even catch it while editing 😅 I am sorry if it ruins your experience with the video just know I'm constantly working on it!
I would say it’s a difference in volume like I had to turn up my phone on your older videos so I could hear you better now. I don’t have to have it as high.
What you said about Columbina perhaps being the source of all the intel the Fatui have about the world feels very in line with what Arlecchino says about Columbina: "She is a very special Harbinger. Pose her a question, and the answer you receive will be entirely unpredictable". Perhaps these unpredictable answers she gives are forbidden knowledge, like "the sky is fake", "we live in a simulation", "nothing is real", etc.
In the Aranara quest chain it was mentioned that the Seelies are the remnants of a race that once coexisted with humans, it was said that the Seelies were born with a curse: ¨if they fall in love with humans they will lose their wisdom and power, and their bodies would degenerate¨. I'm sure Columbina is a surviving angel, but I wonder what exactly happened to the angels to receive that curse, there's a lot of lore we're still missing.
Let's not forget that we know an outlander and a seelie were married in the court of the lunar palace, witnessed by the three moon sisters, before calamity took place
1. What I think about Columbina is that she was the Shade of Death and went by the name of the 'Ronova'. But then, the Heavenly Principles found out about her using the power of Death to write the rules of Natlan and create the Night Kindom, and when they demanded an explanation, her 'excuse' of "that treacherous Xbalanque stealing her power" didn't satisfy them and they kicked her out and she became a fallen angel after she died out of 'self-pity'. Somehow, she was found by the Tsaritsa, who gave her the name of 'Columbina' and either promised her vengeance on the Heavenly Principles or she simply sided with the humans, since Angels loved humans a lot and she fell in love with someone(Xbalanque.) 2. As for the Captain, he might've been sent on his journey by Columbina who promised him 'death'. So, my guess is that Capitano will seize the Pyro Gnosis again and then venture into the Night Kingdom, using the Divine Throne's power again, to overwrite Mavuika's death sentence and die in her stead.
@@TheGamerChronicles999 1. It could be that the seat of the "Shade of Death" was given to Ronova after the dethroning of Columbina. 2. Ronova was the original Shade that died in self pity which made her resurrect as a fallen angel Columbina using the system of the Ode of Resurrection in some similar way... I mean she controls death and only the Heavenly Principles can gain an upper hand in that domain... So I think that after she died, the Heavenly Principles went into their slumber because of their battle with Nibelung and she used this as an opportunity to come back to life by using the power she has over Death or with the help of another Shade(of Life) and ultimately became Columbina we know today.
I think she still is the shade of death and has the same power, that’s why she is as strong or stronger than a God. Harbingers often get new names after becoming Harbingers why not Columbia too to cover up her identity. Plus we never actually heard Columbina speaking we only heard her sing in the Fatui trailer.
@plexycraft4136 she spoke in the fatui trailer. "I must say you're looking very young today doctor" "So, where's the Segment in the prime of his life, then?" Those were her only voice lines beside her singing.
Spoiler/leak ahead if you dont mind Columbina is leaked to be a strong necromancer, so having someone talking about columbina giving the gift of death to capitano fill me with joy. Maybe it is correct. I would love if it did
Mic sound very good! Definitely an improvement. Your point about capitano sacrificing himself in place of Mavuika is something i didn't think of but sound very plausible with how honorable he is and his condition like you said. Good stuff!
Also, Columbina is the one singing over Signora's coffin. She's singing and "mourning" her death. This is just a small observation, but I think it could also be yet another hint that she's related to the shade of death in one way or another
Another thing I forgot to add is that, the Wayob Manifestations' wings are EERILY similar to the wings on top of Columbina's head. Maybe this is a stretch, but I find it interesting
Why would she be the Shade of death if shes the 3rd fatui habinger and it has been stated in-game that the fatui harbingers are ranked by strenght... The shade of death, literally gave Xbalanque the original Pyro Archon's power, so Columbina cant be Ronova. Shes powerful but doesnt transcend power itself like the shades do
A very Important detail that was missing in my opinion, is the fact the Shade of Death got described exactly like Columbina's Constellation. "She did it out of love" Columbina's constellation is a heart. "She succumbed to self pity" Columbina's constellation is Crying/Weeping, Connected to Angles/Seelies, Banished from Celestia. Columbina definitely either serves or is an reincarnation maybe of Ronova, whatever the case, we know It's 100% Confirmed they are somehow connected after This.
hmm it will be crazy if she turned out to be devolved form of ronova hmmm...she could be a seelie or ronova? or ronova in next gen. reincarnated/stored in the body? since she did use a heck lot of power
About the new mic: I’m an audio engineering student and I’ve spent a lot of different time with different mics. I hear a difference, it’s much smoother and more well-rounded, and I don’t hear as much sibilance or popping. Out of curiosity, what model is it? My gut says SM7B because that’s the PSL of podcasting mics, but I also don’t want to jump the gun. About Columbina: I was rewatching the Fatui trailer the other day, and I was noticing just how colorful Columbina is compared to the other characters. Blues, reds, grays, and black seem to be the color palette for most of the Harbingers, and those make sense because those colors are often used with positions of power or royalty, but Columbina is the only one who uses pinks. I’m probably overthinking this, but while pink is most commonly associated with love and youth, it also represents a lack of willpower, self-worth, and self-reliance, and it can also indicate an overly emotional and overly cautious nature. I don’t think Columbina is lacking in willpower or self-worth-she did have the stones to take a jab at Dottore-but I do think the emotional aspect of pink is going to play a part. I think she’s going to have some sort of power over emotions. It would explain why Childe doesn’t fully trust her and why Scaramouche thinks he could put up more of a fight than us.
I has this observation regarding Chlothar Alberich. Remember Eula'a voicelines about Yanfei during the time when Yanfei was unknowingly escorting goods for the abyss from DORNMAN PORT, and was endangered for having a look into it, tahts when Eula saved her . The inportant part was most probably that thing she was supposed to escort was the Lost Statue of Seven that we later se hanged upside down in the We will be reunited quest. But if this is true we know that Chlothar was the one who ordered the Abyss to steal the Statue. So that would conclude that Chlothar didnt die 100s of years before but died very recently maybe 2-3 years ago and the one responsible to break his immortality curse was whatever he did to the Upside down Venti Statue that was flooding with Abyssal energy , remember even the Grand thief we saw kneeling down was killed. Most probably there was someone else involved in awakening something taht would revert the curse. Maybe Vedrfolnir was involved. Maybe if you remember in the Caribert Archon Quest in the end Dainsleif says that the one in the Crystal has most probably seen us traveling through our sibling's memories . That would mean Vedrfolnir is still active and maybe not in the form of a crystal but an actual body. But one thing that i didn't understand was how did Traveler know there was something was buried at the back of Chlothar's house did he see something else not shown in the quest?
Man I love your videos. Last night I watched your Teyvat's False Sky video which is 1 hour long. I thought I would fall asleep somewhere in the middle of the video but I was so invested on the video that when it finished I said "wait, that's it? I thought this is 1 hour long what happened?" lol. Keep doing what you're doing man.
Thank you for all your hard work in making these lore videos. Genshin's lore is so vast and so rich, and it is thanks to people like you that we can appreciate the details of it. Your new microphone is definetly an improve, I hear your voice much more clearly (the other one wasn't bad either, that's why I think you didn't notice a huge difference, but the new is undoubtly better).
the voice quality is so much different and you can notice it it's so much clearer now just open a this video in a tab and an old one in another tab and try the difference is big enough for you to notice
@@TheGamerChronicles999 in Comedia del' arte she is often the smartest/Most knowledgeable person in the room amongst the Harbingers, It would make a lot of sense for her to have the most knowledge of the outside world since she us related to Celestia...but maybe it's possible that she got memory wiped, maybe just like how Kheanrians have a curse if they leave, This also applies to Celestia?
Honestly i think capitanos symbol is the dove so far the confirmed symbol with a tear ( pierro) is a survivor of khaenriah. Doves are symbols of purity and righteousness and it being it the shape of a heart could be meant to symbolize a pure heart. Along with capitanos story is about his immortality being specifically less eternal life and more of a prolonged death. Also with biblical references im not sure what the 3 nails of the next symbol on the wheel could mean in relation to capitano BUT for columbina it could be a direct reference to jesus and the knowledge he brought from god.
Intriguing connection! I like the points you brought up and it sent me on a direct reference to Jesus as well as there are many Messianic motifs at play! I personally think his symbol is still the nails but interesting to see if there is any overlap as certainly his role and interactions are at play regarding the Shade of Death and Lord of the Night: Whether or not his icon is the dove or nails, there are some biblical references that come to mind: Especially considering Capitano's gilt ribcage featuring a heart motif, his wound "in the side" received from Mauvika, similar to the one received on the cross by Christ to confirm his death (however Capitano survives), his shrouded helmet and attire appears like Coptic/Byzantine symbols and relics of preserved saints (look up preserved skulls/bodies of martyrs/saints housed at Catholic cathedrals and there is a striking resemblance, especially considering his apparent immortality, role with souls and death, and sense of ethics beyond aesthetic connections), and to me, the three nails provide even stronger Christology references, referencing not only the trinity but also given that Jesus was pierced in the wrists and knees (technically three nails/wounds) and regardless of those specifics, the three nails appear to me to represent Christ's crucifixion and in regards to Capitano, perhaps referencing his willingness to sacrifice himself for the nations and stand in place of Mauvika's life (weight of sin/paying the cost of death, one owed specifically by Mauvika for using the Shade of Death's power and which Capitano knows about in advance), and ultimately if the plot progresses *ideally* I want to believe somehow he will preserve Mauvika's life, that of Natlan, redeem K'anriah, and resurrect himself - ah the possibilities! Then again on the Genshin Impact fanpage regarding their etymology and inspiration from the Italian theater the Harbringer's roles were inspired by, Columbina's name references "Little Dove' whereas Capitano does seem to be the nails and what's more interesting is that his operatic character trope's inspiration is stated to be a "braggart who weaves tall tales about himself," and who is "cowardly, greedy, and opportunistic, with little loyalty shown to any side" - which is exceptionally fascinating given the Captain's apparent more gallant and self-sacrificing nature, unless he truly has been lying and deceiving us this entire time. Whose to say at this point, I certainly hope he survives and is playable! Onward for further theory crafting~
@dear_totheheart genshin has used inverted version of the operatic characters themes so it makes sense hes more righteous. Also thinking about it more ive noticed capitano has a heart motif going on with the literal heart of gold on his chest, got an injury over his heart, and a curse that forces his heart to keep beating. I also partially feel the dove has to be capitano at this point in the story if he doesnt die (somehow) or release next he wouldnt really make sense given his story prominence.
1. Excellent work noting that the nation of death is under the jurisdiction of the shade of death. Totally makes sense! 2. Columbina being an angel and her constellation being a mourning dove has become popular theory, thanks to you guys. So, thanks! 3. Nabu Malikata advising Deshret, being used to foreshadow Columbina advising the Tsaritsa and the Masked Fools, works brilliantly. I'm working on a theory that covers this. 4. Capitano has his own reasons for fighting for Natlan's salvation, as Mavuika admits, and it's connected to his final foe for whom he seeks Yohualtehcutin's help. I'm also working on a theory that covers this. Best to mention that it doesn't take away Capitano's sense of justice, as Ororon keenly evaluated. Capitano has his secrets. 5. I think Columbina will join Natlan's plot in order to check on the Captain as he burns to cinders for a dream. But enough guessing, we'll find out soon because her constellation is next after Arlecchino. Just subscribed!
man u cooked so crazy on this 1 i think u maybe leaked the natlan plot right here bc Mavuika will have to pay the price but on the other hand she will be playable!! cant wait for the story to continue and mic quality sounded alot better to me btw! nice upgrade
I am in love with this lore!! Ronova, Seelie- I mean Angels (finally) are so so interesting so me. I love finding lore in-game while exploring, and even reading the Bible to find connections
My favorite character got a new video ^^ That she is some kind of angel or linked with death was always an obvious answer, but due to the new lore it’s practically confirmed that the points are right. I think that they are about to bring a huge lore bomb not only with the Seelies and Shades but also and most importantly Columbina. They are about to bring the character in a light i personally always wished her to be. Besides, the point that she is linked to Snezhnaya makes really sense. The shade of death needs to be connected with said nation because it’s the nation of ice, ice and water are the Elements that stand for death. Water is in nearly all cultures a medium where souls traverses to the afterlife. Water and with it the sub element ice is also other than fire mostly only an element that brings destruction and the end. Fire on the other side is also destructive but mostly enables life, there is a reason that fire is the best invention we humans got, enabling better food and warmth that enabled us to evolve better brains and conditions. With that said i think that we will find all Informations to the Shade of Death and Columbina in Snezhnaya…
This theory has some merit and potential truths… because venti said he is substantially weakened but do we even know why I have a suspicion that he used istaroth’s power to reset the time stream back to a point where the traveller us woke up sure it’s from a fan animation from Hoyofest but that got me thinking what if venti summoned the power of istaroth to rewind time
My current theory is that the 2nd descender alied with the first as a form of manipulation and then took the Heavenly throne after the third Descender returned to teyvat and was defeated and made into the gnosis. Most of the archons arent even aware this change because the whole war to crown the 7 happened after the switch and by that time the 4 shades began enacting a plan to dethrone the 2nd descender whilst pretending to Follow them, Time by allying with venti and helping Ei Evade the Heavenly Principles through the Sacred Sakura to survive the Removal of the hyjacked irminsul through the sacred Sakura. Space by Preventing the Traveler and their twin from Leaving teyvat planing to leverage the power of a Descender against the current Heavenly Principles whos struggling to push down the original order of the world. Life through the creation of Ageria whoms inheritor deatroyed the Hydro Throne and Returned the authority to the hydro dragon even if its a risky Gamble if they can get the dragons on humanities side (which we know the original heavenly principles was a huge fan of) then they can both allow Humanity to Survive and more importantly try and bring back their creator even if hes no longer the primordial one because his goal on stealing the Throne was creating Hunanity. Death, Gave Ruels and provived a way through which the current throne can be perceptual weakened by removing death from the Kingdom beyond celestias Gaze and specifically i belive they're setting up for them making life possible to bring back in order to Resurrect and Purify the Original Dragon King (specifically i believe the climax of natlan will be the rebirth of a just barely alive Nibelung whom is massively depowerd since the 2nd descender has his authority and he just has his body and will The following is just how i would handle natlans storyline so far and how i think 5.0-6.0 could be way Bigger then we think as a journey. (To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if they made Natlan Deliberately smaller then previous nations in terms of land space Because theyre planing something like oh you thought you had to wait a year to go to the cryo nation nope were going right now Like imagine 5.3 we Get acts 5 and 6 of natlan and in the 5th act we prepare and have the final battle of natlan against the abyss and in act 6 we get the burning of irminsul and resurrection of The dragon king nibelung and the Awakening of a Heavily weakened Hevenly principles (2nd Descender) and we get 5.4 as another off patch(Framed as Preparing for the Journey ahead of schedule then in 5.5 instead of going somewhere new in natlan like we Expected we are Instantly Heading to snezhnaya (Cryo nation not sure in spelling of its name) since weve gotten our pyro element and with all the crap that just happened in and we have to adjust ourselves to the nation of Cryo (having to prove ourselves to the Tsaritsa in order to get the power of cryo). And following this new patch cycle we go 5.6 Cryo acts 3+4 5.7 off patch 5.8 cryo act 5+6 5.9 off patch 6.0 celestia or khanriah im just not so sure on the 2nd one (to be honest i believe we have to ascend to the peaks of the heavens before we go to khanriah which is why its act number isnt shown, specifically i believe a hypothetical celestia chapter will end up restoring Khanriah. For this i am Assuming both Natlan and the nation of cryo are smaller landmassess then the Previous nations and might not Need As Much Map expansion For the Main Story and we could place these Map Expansions between acts of the celestia Storyline and could even be contextualised as a forced Look back on where you've been. Specifically im imagining Celestia will likely be formatted as some form of Divine Trail to ascend the Heavens and Reach the Throne which the Heavenly Principles is doing everything to protect themselves from your assault with the fatui also i specifically believe celestia will be 1 act per patch at least for some patches. Such as 6.0 celestia act 1 6.1 A Return to mondstat (Venti SQ Part 2)(but i can actually see this being in 5.9 instead just like how mondstat is the prologue chapter and not a chapter in of itself ventis act 2 is a prologue to a celestia chapter(the alternative if the 2nd case will be in bracket text lime this(or Geo 6.2 celestia act 2 6.3 Return to the Nation of Geo(or Electro 6.4 Celestia act 3 6.5 Return to Sumeru (Nahida story quest?)(or Fontaine) 6.6 celestia act 4 6.7 Fontaine return (or natlan Return) 6.8 celestia act 5 6.9 Celestia act 6 Of course these are just assumptions and guesses Also i think the captain will survive and thus Prove the Rules Fallible
My other guess is we attempt to go to celestia after teaming up with the tsaritsa only to be Booted out near the front Door and after reaching the sky/stars of celestia we fall into the Abyss, Khanriah and then we manage to claim the power from beyond that which leads into the whole their are those who dream of dreaming thing and to be honest after the Cryo nation I still don't know how we get to Khanriah I'm just throwing out less confident guesses since they tie into the more confident earlier ideas and the semi confident idea of them having the relevant part of the nation Be Less Space so we can add More to the Nation Later and combine both Cryo and Pyro Traveler since they're phenomena are both connected to energy one removing and the other adding Scientifically and if a dragon like nibelung does get resurrected If we have 4 patches to wait around before heading to the Cryo Nation at least to me that Heavily undercuts the impact of the story
@@yoriichitsugikuni3743someone didn't read my guess at a potentially accelerated patch cycle where they cram both pyro and Cryo into 5.0-6.0. Of course that's just a guess based on the anomaly of 5.2 being an off patch and guessing what if they keep following the off patch cycle Ultimately if that theory is incorrect then all the 6.0 theory stuff in the original comment becomes 7.0 but I also don't think we're going to get an 8.0(unless we go to Celestia Before Khanriah) because of Genshins known usage of gnosticism and several other sources of inspiration where 7 is usually seen and because of the repetition of the number 7 I can only see it being logical that in either 7.0 or 6.0 we go to celestia and end up down in the abyss, with it being 6.0 we have the Ideas that it wasn't yet the proper time for us to fight the Heavens and with 7.0 we have the idea that it's the fate ordained by the divine. And if Celestia is 6.0 range territory it could also be instead of just the entire patch cycle being celestia focused we complete all of snezhnyna with the last act of the Cryo Nation archon quest being loss rather then a victory. Leading us into 7.0 which symbolically represents completion
How Traveler would become a Pyro Archon if Mavuika will live? I mean, Traveler does gain a lot of connection to Natlan, for example getting crafted an ancient name, tying them to Natlan Also Pyro Archons are mortal, powered up humans but destined to die so the next one would take their place. Traveler and their sibling are not a mortal Unless they decide to break the rules of Pyro Archon throne
Well, finally someone addresses this possibility? Why else would they highlight her self pity if it's not linked to Columbina's weeping dove? How would Capitano be acquainted with the rules of Ronova? It would be interesting to run voice analysis of the singing from fatui trailer and her voice from Xbalanque's memories.
The fact that we are finding out that the shades are basically locked going against celestial makes me think about a theory video I once watched where they speculated that de PO is being impersonated by the SWC. They speculated that it was weird how the PO who “loved” humanity was suddenly doing harsh stuff and basically neglecting humanity and because a lot of stuff in the history of teyvat is not adding up. Allll of this is very SUS. I hope that if we meet Colombiana we might figure out what really happened..
I think it might actually be as plain as Capitano said in that Columbia may actually be Renova. That’s why capitano said he was sent by the ruler of death being actually sent by columbina.
Hmmm the thing is Columbinas eyes are hidden so I can't determine what era she is from, she might be from the Eclipse Dynasty or the Crimson Moon with the traveller being the Sun. I think Teyvat is a moon that had the reflections of earth cast down on top of it. Since shadows can be interpreted as a play or the once watching it as an audience this fits Teyvats world decription. It also fits the ending of the Archon quest were pieces of a moon could be seen. Arlecchino probably has information about Columbina but I think Pierro has done something to her memory and I think she knows that he stole parts of her memory. The reason is because when she is questioned parts of the questions are missing entirely. He is obfuscating Arlecchino's fate for whatever reason but I suspect it has to do with the eyes. Since Khaenri'ahns have the Primordial gemstone symbol in their pupil means Arlecchino is the opposite of Teyvats world structure. Here comes the twist what people think in Teyvat becomes reality because of the nature of Irminsul. So for instance if people think pitch dark means that a nightmother appeared it does. Similar to the people think gods have less power they do. This is dangerous since Teyvat has no real knowledge of how the universe operates so everything they try to find as an explanation becomes real, and since it becomes real they believe it even more, this creates a spiral that goes haywire. However this can be fixed with forbidden knowledge of the universe but ultimately it would lead to Celestias demise since the power that archons draw from is the belief of it's people. You could say the goal of the game is to create a modern society that believes in humans own ability to shape their own fate. So Teyvat went through 3 phases A Solar Eclipse, A Lunar Eclipse and a total Eclipse the shadows are guided by the stars in game called constellations. Shadows cannot move on their own, so this is not certain to be some evil mastermind thing Celestia is doing to control fate, it might just be a consequence of the prior events. Since Teyvat is a reflection of earth everything is turned upside down it's pretty cool. It's sort of a mirrored image of Earth. According to many old ancients legends a blood moon was related to evil being birthed so this is the point were I think the NIghtmother appeared in Teyvat. As it is related to everything turning dark. This would have been described almost like a fairy tale since people in Teyvat seem to have no knowledge at all about space or what is outside Teyvats borders. "A chariot crashing" is therefore the traveler the first time it happened and it was recorded the only way Teyvat can perceive reality as a story since it was a story so became the traveler a suspect in finding the true culprit to the murderer. If the sky opens up the mind palace breaks and the "old world" becomes visible once more.
If it means anything, the Goddess of Flowers, an Angel/Seelie on par with the Archon-level Deshret and Rhukkadevata even in her explicitly degrees from, was a dancing servant for one of the Moon Sisters, which suggests that they are either a Shade, or someone on that tier of power..
great video, but... you forgot a key detail. one that could mean collumbina could still be the shade of death. morax, is it's name and so is zhongly. barbatos is it's name and so is venti. belzebub is her name and so is ei. if the gods that are archons have more then "one" name for themselves... why not the gods that are shades? ronova may be her name, but... what if so was collumbina? ;-)
If she still ends up being shade of death I would be pumped cause it would make my old video age even better but I'm mainly basing this off the fact we heard both speak and they have completely different voices along with the fact that she would be insanely more powerful then the number 3 spot, To me there is far more to suggest that she isn't since we met Ronova in 5.1 but this is genshin where anything can happen and I'd be happy to be wrong gif she does :)
well, capitano is said to be stronger then gods. maybe it applies to not just archon but shade as well. as for dotore, the only thing we know of his powers is that he's shapeshifter. we know he's stronger then archons, but he may also be stronger then shades. this could mean collumbina's rank, among the fatui, if a shades fits with theirs. as a shade, she's supposed to be stronger then archons but as a shade, she may be weaker then other god killers. also, collumbna is said to make an appearence, later, in natlan. there were mentions of ronova, but no mentions of collumbina... unless these 2 are one and the same. collumbina, if the shade of death, coming to natlan would easily be justified by the depth of "death" that need to be paid. if a shade, she could come to natlan, for this very reason. so, although it IS possible that she's an angel, i'd say the possibilities of her being the shade itself are just as high. i relly hope your theory about her being a shade is true. her being a shade would probably make her the most interesting of all of genshin impact's characters, lorewise. there's only one character that's more mysterious then her, from my point of view... the 10th harbinger... whoever it's supposed to be. i have my theory about it's identity, bu... that's just a theory... a GAME theory. XD
I wonder if Zhongli and Columbina know each other due to them both being from an earlier era, or since both of them are related to one of the shades (space/death respectively)?
12:02 hmmm interesting so would you say the shade of life being represented by a flower could actually be the goddess of flowers? Also what if paimon is also an angel because she wears a halo?
I too was thinking that The Captain may be trying to have his place swapped with Mavuika's for whom needs to pay the price of "death". We know Mavuika is gonna be playable but there's not certainty about Cap being ever released as a playable character (although it would be great since he looks so cool). The other possibility could be that the Traveler's presence may allow for breaking or circumventing those rules (as hoped by Citlali) established by Ronova. I have a feeling Mavuika may be trying to bank on that after asking the Traveler to join her for the "final battle". Also, I'm not sure it's the last we will see of Guthred. I feel like we ought to hear a bit more about him and the Captain. Regarding Angels, that's from a while back but, remember that the Hypostases all have Hebrew letters as names, I've seen people say that's "Holy script", aka the language of angels (plus a few other interesting things about them elemental cubes), vs all the "Gods" (not just the archons but past gods such as Decarabian as well) being associated with Demons. Also, speaking of "biblically accurate angels", the statue of the Omnipresent God in Inazuma (iirc which is supposed to represent the shade Istarot), with all them visions embedded into the wings, does remind me of them. Something else that caught my attention was the 7 elements being compared to how the light of the rainbow separates into 7 colors and the 7 elements of Teyvat are similar to that (that would also support the theory of the existence of the Light and Dark elements). And to continue with the number 7, associating each nation of Teyvat with one of the 7 Deadly Sins (that theory is floating around somewhere too). There was something bothering me during the "Heroes Assemble" bit though is that each tribe represents 1 of the 7 elements + the Archon represents Pyro. Each tribe seems to have more affinity with a specific element (Children of Echoes as Geo, People of the Springs as Hydro, etc) but the Cryo element was not represented at all (it would have been if Citlali was chosen to represent the Masters of the Night Wind but Ororon was and he is Electro). Maybe I'm reading too much into that one.
1:07 "we obviusly know that she is not the shade of death, Ronova his" it is not obvious, Ronova could be her real name and Colombina her harbingers name, like Childe/Tartaglia-Ajax, Arlecchino/Peruere, ...
@paulamblard3836 columbina was singing in fatui trailer and talking to dottore while irminsul was burning and we heard ronova at the end of 5.1 talking to first pyro archon with a completely different voice
About your mic, there is kind of a quality ceiling for UA-cam bcs of the audio compression when uploading that may be the reason why you don’t rly hear a difference. It sounds great either way tho.
As i replied to Another comment i believe this to be the case. It's no secret she gave the fatui all of the forbidden knowledge they have today, because in the Comedia del' arte, what the Harbingers are based off, Columbina is always the smartest/Most knowledgeable person in the room, this makes perfect sense. Combined with the Shade of death being described perfectly in a 1 to 1 refference eith Columbina's constellation and their connection are obvious.
I definitely agree with alot of this. I'm curious tho if capitano does sacrifice himself who will take the gnosis back to fatui land. I only see two options with this. 1 another fatui will show up probably Columbina. 2 the traveler will take it with them to Snezhnaya as a bargin chip or something
Idk if it's just me but i feel like all these hints is pointing towards columbina being the shade of death. First it seems like she is accustomed of death. Second, shade of death has connection with the fatui and currently the most likely angel that we know that have connections with fatui is columbina. Third it's stated that shade of death order captain to come to natlan and honestly i feel like the only people who dare to order captain would probably be jester, columbina, and tsaritsa. With columbina being the closest to being an angel which shade of death is also one of the angels. Fourth, it's stated that shade of death fell into self pity and columbina honestly fit the description of someone who fell into self pity. Fifth i feel like ronova kinda fits with columbina idk why it's just intuition.
Not many know this but doves are also symbols of Ishtar in middle eastern mythology. Doves also got some pretty interesting symbolism and meanings in many cultures but most famous is dove being symbol of holy spirit in Christianity and Jewish culture. Its quite interesting and why partly im far more interested in Columbina over Captiano.
Shes probably the highest ranking angel or a very powerful one beacuase of the fact that shes not a seelie. Shes probably also the only seelie with a human form
Just dont jump to conclusions now we dont know what hoyo do just like capitano some theory say he is dragon sovereign some say he kills dragon sovereign but he is just like dain and Piero so we cant say much about her also
bro true but it is true he is from khaneriah he is a general he confirmed it but his story or his goals might change a bit since he has a weird aura we know that mavuika herself felt... so he can get arlechinnofied and may turn out to be complete diff. character knave did lie to us saying she if from fontaine
Is she is the Shade of Death her power must be sealed because if doesnt make sense that she is the third fatui below Dottore and Capitano. Maybe the ribbons she has are a kind a chains that contain her true power in a way to reduce her deathful nature. Remember that one leak said that she doesnt control her strenght.
Regarding Deshret in particular, from my understanding, his civilization didn't collapse because he rebelled against the will of the Heavenly Principles. Or at least the correlation isn't that direct. Rather, it seemed to have collapsed because he couldn't let his one crush go and went into the abyss to find a way to resurrect her (and restore her honor as an Angel but I digress), which resulted in the mass Contamination. The Heavenly Principles seem to be completely disconnected from that incident, and as a matter of fact they did not even curse the Desert Folks like they did with the people of Khaenri'ah. You could argue the Heavenly Principles (might have) killed Nabu Malikata themselves and that's what caused Deshret to ultimately go insane. However, there actually is no proof of their direct involvement in her death, nor do they seem like the kind of fools who would risk the destruction of Teyvat with Abyssal contamination just to punish Deshret.
no i think after he used fk he was corrupted that made him go crazy and there was some internal politics as well that made his city fall but! it is true that hp dropped a nail since the tornado is always glowing witha blue power which is from nail and nothing else also since he was and his city was corrupted by fk would make alot of sense
i have been a lore nerd since 2021, especially about celestia. I WAS RIGHT… IT HAS ANGELS. ITS HEAVEN, RIGHT?? this quest had me on the edge of my seat i swear
am i the only one who think that she is gonna use a light element or new element. because she is the only one that didn't go in the dark side at that time and the fatui formation is not in the light. and she got the spot "light". and why is the night so bright at that time and also she have the primordial symbol on her hair. and the bright light at the formation of the fatui there is same as columbina hair color matching with her keychain at her cloak
i have a theory about the extra culi we have 1 left in our bag afterall from each nation while typing this we had the same thought of the travller being a standin archon for natlan too because of they leaks saying pyor traveller is the strongest and that we might need the tribal chronicles to skill travller up
20:07 im typing after hearing this, i also have this sacrifice theory, i have 2 accounts the the second one is catching up so i played chasm, and remembered that capitano was mentioned there, his men were given orders to help the qixing there and most stayed in a "martyr" ish way and then in the 5.1 abyss war on the other account I played to save the northern area of the stadium first, there you will find all the fatui dead, with a hydro gunner blocking a mother and daughter from dying from rift hounds (another hotspot choice wipes everyone in this area)
the microphone sounds about the same, if you didn't say it i wouldn't ever notice nothing but i'm not the best when it comes to describe audio or paying attention to it
My apologies for mispronouncing Ronova name I've always struggled with mixing words or even reading words that arent there its been that way since I was in middle school and its so natural to me I dont even catch it while editing 😅 I am sorry if it ruins your experience with the video just know I'm constantly working on it!
I would say it’s a difference in volume like I had to turn up my phone on your older videos so I could hear you better now. I don’t have to have it as high.
@tracepowell5541 I got a new mic my old one was on it way out I felt that I had to talk louder before to even hear myself but thats good
i think youre Mike is good....all though i don't see a massive improvement.......
also olz make a vido on paimon...
i mean who is she
@@prattaydey2603They have several videos on that topic.
It’s all good! I always know who you’re talking about anyway. Doesn’t affect the video quality!
I hope columbina allows us to find seelies with a passive ability lol
That would be so cool
Next update, the compass will show them with timed challenges
That would actually be so perfect for a replay account
I hope u lose your 50/50 every time
Or if she could somehow interact with them
Like nahida with sumeru NPCs.
Even if all of them say the same thing it would still be nice.
If Columbina has a form of Biblically accurate Angel or Seraphim, I would be terrified, and Amaze as well.
Warp reality
What you said about Columbina perhaps being the source of all the intel the Fatui have about the world feels very in line with what Arlecchino says about Columbina: "She is a very special Harbinger. Pose her a question, and the answer you receive will be entirely unpredictable". Perhaps these unpredictable answers she gives are forbidden knowledge, like "the sky is fake", "we live in a simulation", "nothing is real", etc.
Arlecchino: The weather is quite nice today, isn’t it Columbina?
Columbina: The sky is fake.
@@k3nt0b3nt0 exactly how I picture her interactions
THIS REMIND ME OF:
Someone: is that water or vodca?
Columbina: VINEGAR
@@k3nt0b3nt0 now it makes a lot of sense lol
true she knows
In the Aranara quest chain it was mentioned that the Seelies are the remnants of a race that once coexisted with humans, it was said that the Seelies were born with a curse: ¨if they fall in love with humans they will lose their wisdom and power, and their bodies would degenerate¨. I'm sure Columbina is a surviving angel, but I wonder what exactly happened to the angels to receive that curse, there's a lot of lore we're still missing.
Thats interesting and ya think we're going to now start getting alot more lore on the angels and seelies what exactly happend
maybe thats why columbina eyes are closed, so she wont fall in love with any human
Let's not forget that we know an outlander and a seelie were married in the court of the lunar palace, witnessed by the three moon sisters, before calamity took place
We already knew that since the start of the game, dont remember the name of the book
So that's why she blindfolded herself, so she can't fall in love?
The Angel of Death, putting everyone to sleep permanently.
Somehow, she was found by the Tsaritsa, who gave her the name of 'Columbina' and either promised her vengeance on the Heavenly Principles or she simply sided with the humans, since Angels loved humans a lot and she fell in love with someone(Xbalanque.)
Thats interesting! The Ronova we heard talking is a different one or replacement then? Since we heard both talk and have different voices?
@@TheGamerChronicles999
"I must say you're looking very young today doctor"
"So, where's the Segment in the prime of his life, then?"
Those were her only voice lines beside her singing.
Spoiler/leak ahead if you dont mind
Columbina is leaked to be a strong necromancer, so having someone talking about columbina giving the gift of death to capitano fill me with joy.
1:09 Ronova could be Columbina's real name, since "Columbina" is just her commedia dell'arte name
Columbina definitely either serves or is an reincarnation maybe of Ronova, whatever the case, we know It's 100% Confirmed they are somehow connected after This.
hmm it will be crazy if she turned out to be devolved form of ronova hmmm...she could be a seelie or ronova? or ronova in next gen. reincarnated/stored in the body? since she did use a heck lot of power
oh ya here we go crazy being here after your first video ever on this channel
Crazy indeed haha
Columbina my beloved arrive in Natlan I am saving every primo in existence for you
finally, somone talks about Columbina!
felt so many times in this archon quest like watching your videos gave me little spoilers already but was so hype to see it official
Best genshin lore channel just dropped a video ❤
When I saw COLUMBINA I clicked so fast
Keep doing what you're doing man.
Hahaha I do the same thing to fall asleep but happy you enjoyed it 😊
Thank you for all your hard work in making these lore videos.
I want to encourage you about the mic: your higher register is coming across with less tinny-ness, and that is a goooooood quality to have!

Colimbina is the Seele that fell in love with the Outlander and was memory wiped
You think she forgot her past?
@@TheGamerChronicles999 in Comedia del' arte she is often the smartest/Most knowledgeable person in the room amongst the Harbingers, It would make a lot of sense for her to have the most knowledge of the outside world since she us related to Celestia...but maybe it's possible that she got memory wiped, maybe just like how Kheanrians have a curse if they leave, This also applies to Celestia?
Maybe part of her memories
sounds pretty good coming out of my phone, your mic. i think it’s got a but better clarity
Another great video and honestly sounds better!
You do sound better, clearer than previously imo
I personally think his symbol is still the nails but interesting to see if there is any overlap as certainly his role and interactions are at play regarding the Shade of Death and Lord of the Night:
Whether or not his icon is the dove or nails, there are some biblical references that come to mind: Especially considering Capitano's gilt ribcage featuring a heart motif, his wound "in the side" received from Mauvika, similar to the one received on the cross by Christ to confirm his death (however Capitano survives), his shrouded helmet and attire appears like Coptic/Byzantine symbols and relics of preserved saints (look up preserved skulls/bodies of martyrs/saints housed at Catholic cathedrals and there is a striking resemblance, especially considering his apparent immortality, role with souls and death, and sense of ethics beyond aesthetic connections), and to me, the three nails provide even stronger Christology references, referencing not only the trinity but also given that Jesus was pierced in the wrists and knees (technically three nails/wounds) and regardless of those specifics, the three nails appear to me to represent Christ's crucifixion and in regards to Capitano, perhaps referencing his willingness to sacrifice himself for the nations and stand in place of Mauvika's life (weight of sin/paying the cost of death, one owed specifically by Mauvika for using the Shade of Death's power and which Capitano knows about in advance), and ultimately if the plot progresses *ideally* I want to believe somehow he will preserve Mauvika's life, that of Natlan, redeem K'anriah, and resurrect himself - ah the possibilities!
"I am not even gonna try to pronounce her name, forget it" 5:27 lol
I know that the shade of death is ronova. But what if Columbina is ronova? I have a long ahh theory that I may write down later! Anyways, great vid!
Ouuu another video about best girl❤❤❤
man u cooked so crazy on this 1 i think u maybe leaked the natlan plot right here bc Mavuika will have to pay the price but on the other hand she will be playable!!
cant wait for the story to continue and mic quality sounded alot better to me btw! nice upgrade
I am in love with this lore!! Ronova, Seelie- I mean Angels (finally) are so so interesting so me. I love finding lore in-game while exploring, and even reading the Bible to find connections
My favorite character got a new video ^^
That she is some kind of angel or linked with death was always an obvious answer, but due to the new lore it’s practically confirmed that the points are right.
You nailed it
the mic definitely sounds a lot better to me
thanks that's good to know!
Most of the archons arent even aware this change because the whole war to crown the 7 happened after the switch and by that time the 4 shades began enacting a plan to dethrone the 2nd descender whilst pretending to Follow them,
Time by allying with venti and helping Ei Evade the Heavenly Principles through the Sacred Sakura to survive the Removal of the hyjacked irminsul through the sacred Sakura.
Death, Gave Ruels and provived a way through which the current throne can be perceptual weakened by removing death from the Kingdom beyond celestias Gaze and specifically i belive they're setting up for them making life possible to bring back in order to Resurrect and Purify the Original Dragon King (specifically i believe the climax of natlan will be the rebirth of a just barely alive Nibelung whom is massively depowerd since the 2nd descender has his authority and he just has his body and will
The following is just how i would handle natlans storyline so far and how i think 5.0-6.0 could be way Bigger then we think as a journey.
(To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if they made Natlan Deliberately smaller then previous nations in terms of land space Because theyre planing something like oh you thought you had to wait a year to go to the cryo nation nope were going right now
Like imagine 5.3 we Get acts 5 and 6 of natlan and in the 5th act we prepare and have the final battle of natlan against the abyss and in act 6 we get the burning of irminsul and resurrection of The dragon king nibelung and the Awakening of a Heavily weakened Hevenly principles (2nd Descender) and we get 5.4 as another off patch(Framed as Preparing for the Journey ahead of schedule then in 5.5 instead of going somewhere new in natlan like we Expected we are Instantly Heading to snezhnaya (Cryo nation not sure in spelling of its name) since weve gotten our pyro element and with all the crap that just happened in and we have to adjust ourselves to the nation of Cryo (having to prove ourselves to the Tsaritsa in order to get the power of cryo).
And following this new patch cycle we go
5.6 Cryo acts 3+4
5.7 off patch
5.8 cryo act 5+6
5.9 off patch
6.0 celestia or khanriah im just not so sure on the 2nd one (to be honest i believe we have to ascend to the peaks of the heavens before we go to khanriah which is why its act number isnt shown, specifically i believe a hypothetical celestia chapter will end up restoring Khanriah.
Such as
6.0 celestia act 1
6.1 A Return to mondstat (Venti SQ Part 2)(but i can actually see this being in 5.9 instead just like how mondstat is the prologue chapter and not a chapter in of itself ventis act 2 is a prologue to a celestia chapter(the alternative if the 2nd case will be in bracket text lime this(or Geo
6.2 celestia act 2
6.3 Return to the Nation of Geo(or Electro
6.4 Celestia act 3
6.5 Return to Sumeru (Nahida story quest?)(or Fontaine)
6.6 celestia act 4
6.7 Fontaine return (or natlan Return)
6.8 celestia act 5
6.9 Celestia act 6
Of course these are just assumptions and guesses
Also i think the captain will survive and thus Prove the Rules Fallible
Nah I think we are going to get to Snezhnaya before Celestia or Khanrieah I think both of those will be after Snezhnaya
@@yoriichitsugikuni3743someone didn't read my guess at a potentially accelerated patch cycle where they cram both pyro and Cryo into 5.0-6.0.
Of course that's just a guess based on the anomaly of 5.2 being an off patch and guessing what if they keep following the off patch cycle
Ultimately if that theory is incorrect then all the 6.0 theory stuff in the original comment becomes 7.0 but I also don't think we're going to get an 8.0(unless we go to Celestia Before Khanriah) because of Genshins known usage of gnosticism and several other sources of inspiration where 7 is usually seen and because of the repetition of the number 7 I can only see it being logical that in either 7.0 or 6.0 we go to celestia and end up down in the abyss, with it being 6.0 we have the Ideas that it wasn't yet the proper time for us to fight the Heavens and with 7.0 we have the idea that it's the fate ordained by the divine.
And if Celestia is 6.0 range territory it could also be instead of just the entire patch cycle being celestia focused we complete all of snezhnyna with the last act of the Cryo Nation archon quest being loss rather then a victory.
Leading us into 7.0 which symbolically represents completion
@@sebay4654anything after 8.0 would be of a new world aka Genshin impact part 2
How Traveler would become a Pyro Archon if Mavuika will live?
I mean, Traveler does gain a lot of connection to Natlan, for example getting crafted an ancient name, tying them to Natlan
Also Pyro Archons are mortal, powered up humans but destined to die so the next one would take their place.
Traveler and their sibling are not a mortal
Unless they decide to break the rules of Pyro Archon throne
Being a mortal is not a rule
Welll at least that would explain how Traveler could get the Pyro Element
Well, finally someone addresses this possibility? Why else would they highlight her self pity if it's not linked to Columbina's weeping dove? How would Capitano be acquainted with the rules of Ronova? It would be interesting to run voice analysis of the singing from fatui trailer and her voice from Xbalanque's memories.
No cause how does capitano know ronova is he someone close to her 🙁
The fact that we are finding out that the shades are basically locked going against celestial makes me think about a theory video I once watched where they speculated that de PO is being impersonated by the SWC.
That’s why capitano said he was sent by the ruler of death being actually sent by columbina.
the mic sounds better! btw nice video, i love columbina!
Oh my you cooked with this one 0.0
once the last part of natlan archon quests drop, Please do a new teyvat timeline video with all the new knowledge we have from fontaine and Natlan
If it means anything, the Goddess of Flowers, an Angel/Seelie on par with the Archon-level Deshret and Rhukkadevata even in her explicitly degrees from, was a dancing servant for one of the Moon Sisters, which suggests that they are either a Shade, or someone on that tier of power..
about the mic, I dont think the clarity is changed much but it def sounds smoother to the ear, not a drastic change but still is a positive one Id say
great video, but... you forgot a key detail. one that could mean collumbina could still be the shade of death.
morax, is it's name and so is zhongly. barbatos is it's name and so is venti. belzebub is her name and so is ei.
if the gods that are archons have more then "one" name for themselves... why not the gods that are shades?
ronova may be her name, but... what if so was collumbina?
Finally another Columbina video!!!
1:07 "we obviusly know that she is not the shade of death, Ronova his"
it is not obvious, Ronova could be her real name and Colombina her harbingers name, like Childe/Tartaglia-Ajax, Arlecchino/Peruere, ...
Well we've heard Ronova and columbina talk they have a different voice so that would be misleading if they were the same person
@@dashhound8974 when we heard her ? don't we only have reported information from the Lord of the Night ?
@paulamblard3836 columbina was singing in fatui trailer and talking to dottore while irminsul was burning and we heard ronova at the end of 5.1 talking to first pyro archon with a completely different voice
I do think your mic sounds slightly better when I compare it with several weeks older videos, it sounds more "consistent" in volume
About your mic, there is kind of a quality ceiling for UA-cam bcs of the audio compression when uploading that may be the reason why you don’t rly hear a difference. It sounds great either way tho.
nobody has cooked about Columbine like you but makes sense to me at this point not sure where else she would be connected to as a 3rd harbinger
I'm nervous her or the captain wont be playable which would be such a waste but good video tho
Welll at least that would explain how Traveler could get the Pyro Element
The new mic isn’t too much different but the audio is a little bit crisper. It’s not drastic but does sound better. ^.^
Wait didn't Tsaritsa fought against Kaenri'ah before turning cold and rebelling against the ideals of Heavenly principles?
Ya doesnt mean shade of death wouldnt be aiding her columbina could be that aid
Fifth i feel like ronova kinda fits with columbina idk why it's just intuition.
great video andd ur voice sounds alot more smoother soo good purchase lol
Thanks good to know
Not many know this but doves are also symbols of Ishtar in middle eastern mythology.
I really hope she shows up soon I can’t wait to see what she knows about the fake sky
I didn’t notice a difference in your voice or the quality of the sound
Amazing content🎉
I really hope columbina will appear in the 5.3 trailer
Ngl the last video was slightly simmered, with this one you BARBECUED
5:23 never give up
When was the False Sky put up? Because I remember in that scene of Traveler running through K’haenriah, the sky was blood red too.
I am sure she's the Ancestor Seelie who fell in love with an outlander.
And will columbina be Playable???? Bc I heard she would in maybe between 5.7-6.0
i have been a lore nerd since 2021, especially about celestia. I WAS RIGHT… IT HAS ANGELS. ITS HEAVEN, RIGHT?? this quest had me on the edge of my seat i swear
its sound more clear with the new mic
After years she finally makes sense
Mavuikas throne looks like her gnosis
Also, we all saw 3 seelies, right, maybe just a coincidence
am i the only one who think that she is gonna use a light element or new element. because she is the only one that didn't go in the dark side at that time and the fatui formation is not in the light. and she got the spot "light". and why is the night so bright at that time and also she have the primordial symbol on her hair. and the bright light at the formation of the fatui there is same as columbina hair color matching with her keychain at her cloak
SOUND QUALITY SMOOTH BUT ITS SAME IN OTHR WAY
After watching
do hope she appears or gets mentioned in 5.3
Imagine columbina becoming a boss fight and her second form is a biblically accurate Angel 😅
i have a theory about the extra culi we have 1 left in our bag afterall from each nation
while typing this we had the same thought of the travller being a standin archon for natlan too because of they leaks saying pyor traveller is the strongest and that we might need the tribal chronicles to skill travller up
20:07 im typing after hearing this, i also have this sacrifice theory, i have 2 accounts the the second one is catching up so i played chasm, and remembered that capitano was mentioned there, his men were given orders to help the qixing there and most stayed in a "martyr" ish way
and then in the 5.1 abyss war on the other account I played to save the northern area of the stadium first, there you will find all the fatui dead, with a hydro gunner blocking a mother and daughter from dying from rift hounds (another hotspot choice wipes everyone in this area)
so generally capitano and anyone under him does have a degree of selflessness, given its by capitanos orders, they still lay themselves for others
New mic sounds the same to me
I dont remember if dainsleif was mentioned outside of his quests
So according to my memory (not sure) that would be the first time
this is the first time he was mentioned outside of his quests.. also paimon was the one who asked hmmm she has brain!
"Comubina is the daughter of Xbalanque and Ronova." - Mythus
the microphone sounds about the same, if you didn't say it i wouldn't ever notice nothing
but i'm not the best when it comes to describe audio or paying attention to it
What if he is not looking for death for himself but for the khanrian souls that possibly reside whithin him?
Thank you for the video can you do a lore video on wuthering waves &zzz
about the new microphone : i also don't hear any difference.
so it is fine.
what if she was besties with the original Cryo Archon but then she d worded so now shes with fatui
How did she even retained her original form and didn’t devolved. Has that something to do with angel rankings?
Crazy theory but what if the higher ranked seelis give better chest
i legit said this in my theory to lol BUT NOONE WATCHED IT used SOOO much time💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
This also increased the chance that Paimon might be an angel since she has a halo
