I had a Sucrets tin survival kit back in the day before Altoids took over the world. It was more pocket-friendly than the classic Band-Aid tin. Mini-Survival-Tins is a good channel for info on building personal tin kits or ones to sell as he describes the size & price of potential contents. His knife info is always good. Opening comments is a challenge because some people forgo all manners when typing remotely rather than speaking face-to-face. Great review as always!!
Absolutely I agree. It’s nice to see some good comments pop up on videos. Some people will never say anything nice but it’s something you have to adapt too. I’ve told people before that every comment is a helpful one because no matter good or bad it gets it farther into the algorithm
That's a really nice little kit. I like the cordage he has in there and the amount he includes, not just a few token feet, but a real useable length. It looks like Berkely Gorilla braided fishing line. I use the same stuff and love it. Those little lights are pretty good too, and something I do, is add some duct tape for repairing a plastic water bag, and to tape the light to the brim of your hat for a makeshift headlamp. It's not going to light up a path for 50 feet, but it does free up your hands while providing light in the immediate area in front of you. While not really relevant this time of year, those perfume sample vials are perfect for refilling with your favorite bug juice to get you through a night in the bush or just changing a flat tire on the road. Keep up the great work.
All great ideas! Ducktape is awesome so many creative uses for it. Having a light is a priority for me for an overnight I’m stubborn and am probably going to walk till after dark so I need one to do anything.
As one person said these should be supplemental kits. You can't use them alone but as a backup. Have you made a tin? I don't remember seeing one. With all you have reviewed it should be a useful kit.
I have my own built that I have been using for a few years now and I actually have 4 more that I’m going to sell. I’ve been testing out the components in it. It will be a later video that I put out later on I have it with me right now in Ohio I’m spending a week out here and it’s hooked to my main pack
Not very well thought out tin, 2x matches and 2x cord makes no sense and could be replaced w something more useful, loose meds + a rather bulky knife (which at that point you should have/carry in your pocket if you're going to make a 'survival tin' 😂) which could also be replaced for more useful stuff. I believe that these 'tin kits' should be supplemental to what you're already carrying. I built mine around what I already use in a way that just expands the use case / scenario for multiple items beyond their original use (e.g. 4x aaa doubles up as a firestarter w a foil wrapper and flashlight battery replacement)
That’s also a good way to look at it some people are looking at it as if they only grab that kit they would be ok but I do like the idea your saying also by making it an Extention of your edc. Like I typically carry a knife, multitool, flashlight, pow pow, wallet, phone, etc. sometimes I carry more stuff but that’s a general edc. Then you build yours to supplement gear you don’t have in your edc. I like it.

Very nice and useful little kit
Yea I think he does a good job making them up he uses a lot of different items
Nice small tin 👍
Yea it’s a pretty cool one
Not a bad kit
Yea I thought it was pretty good for how small it is.
Thanks!
Thanks again I appreciate it!
nice, but I would put the medicine in a small bag and ad sone zip-ties
I always get the single serve ones that
Have two tablets in them of each medication that you want
Like it 👍🏻
Yea I think it’s a pretty good kit for how tiny it is it wasn’t too bad to pack back up either

It’s been a few videos but you got it again! This must be a good time for you

Just curious but does he sell these?
He was thinking about it if they caught enough traction in the future.
Are sucrets still around?😊
I think they cease to exist. No more but a memory. 😆 it’s cool to see the tin though.
Actually I was wrong I guess you can still get them at Walmart 😂 I just looked it up
Loose meds bad.
I typically get the single use two packs that you see in the white cabinets in offices and job sites
I always get the single use packs. Like the ones that are in the white cabinets in offices and job sites
I don't like his channel or his kits. And he's afraid of criticism. He blocks all comments on every video I've watched.
Yea I think he got tired of dealing with negative comments or something. Sometimes it’s good to hear them so you know how to improve.
@whitetailsurvival2430 exactly. I learn from criticism
