The saw is an awesome creation that’s awesome! Great video I like the way you presented the video. You made a ridiculously awesome last ditch kit here! You have some cool stuff I haven’t seen yet in a kit!
As a matter of philosophy, there is too much redundancy in this kit for my preferences. YMMV, and obviously does. I presume you are well practiced with some version of all these supplies. Obviously some of the vacuum sealed items can not be pre-used. And the folded aluminum foil is pretty hard to refold after it has been used. The lack of any kind of sheath for the fixed blade is a little concerning. It is hard to carry a naked knife safely. Perhaps something improvised with the gorilla tape would be helpful - you can still use the gorilla tape, while keeping the blade covered. There is a lighter, matches, ferro rod, and fresnel lens. There are tinder items, candles, Go Fire packet, and alcohol pads. While I understand the importance of fire, this is an emergency kit. One (or maybe two) dedicated, specialized items is likely a better option. Either you can add other items, or carry less weight/bulk in the kit. There is cordage on the improvised jigsaw blade, wire, kevlar cord, fishing line, Technoa (sp?) cord, and brass wire. Again, a little bit of a lot of choices. Having more length of fewer cordage types might be more helpful - depending on what you are planning to do with all that of course. I prefer to have some zip ties for making quick lashings in an emergency situation. The Rx section is a bit light. Two pills of three types is not even a 24 hour dose of anything. There is no caffeine in the kit - if you are accustomed to that, it might take more than one does of NSAID to get you through your time out. If you need an antihistamine, add something like that to the kit.
Some good points for sure but like you said the kits need to be tailored for your needs and supplement what you may or may not carry on your person. The reason for no knife sheath in any of the small tin kits I make is just simply the space it takes up and it is designed to stay inside the kit. But trust me I would prefer a sheath but the gorilla tape will get one made for you for sure
Damn nice lil kit
Thank you

@@Bushcraftnbaseballalright man that sounds great! I will be happy to go over and test this kit out!
Nice
Thank you
hell of a kit b&b
Thanks Tom
Good stuff thanks
Thank you
Nice kit! A little bit of leukotape comes in handy if a blister pops up.
Thanks and good point Brian. Certainly better than using gorilla tape on one which makes it worse
Cool kit man!
Thank you man
I think that's a decent little kit. Most of those I see aren't that well thought out, imo. Well done, I'd say. 👍🏻
Thank you I appreciate it
