    How your tFAW is 32 when your tRRD_S is 10
    tFAW = 4x tRRD_s , so either set tFAW to 40 or drop tRRD_S to 8

    • @ChamberTech
      @ChamberTech  2 місяці тому

      That is true. Should’ve been set to 48. Thanks for pointing that out

    • @Ben-ld1qi
      @Ben-ld1qi 2 місяці тому

      You can also set forget tFAW to 16 and but it won't perform at less than tRRD_S * 4. Haven't seen any regression doing that but yah it should generally be * 4 as you said.

    You’re spot on with the A vs M die. Their qvl for XMP only goes to 8000 for A die, but it goes all the way to 8600 for M die

      @@ChamberTech gotcha. I know M die clocks higher because it’s easier on the memory controller. Does A die usually have tighter timings and lower latency? Or why do some people recommend that instead

    Who still use VST!! VT3 is way better version and catch errors that VST can't
    Had an OC that is stable on VST for hours but fails VT3 in 10min
    Not i use VT3 and when I'm stable there I'm extra stable in VST since it's way more forgiving

    • @pwrcowfeeder
      @pwrcowfeeder 2 місяці тому

      yea for my 8000 on the 7800X3D (much more consistent memory controller than raptor lake) I ran over 6 hours of VT3 and a bunch of Karhu after that

    its has always been better ram ocers than atx boards. itx has always had more layers and better shielding and waaaaaaaay shorter traces between the socket and dimms compared to atx even atx with two dimms. The only thing that the high end ocing atx boards can have advantage over itx is bioses for ocing. but even that is not really that exclusive for the most part(that I have seen) when it comes to certain models of boards, as the brand will often release new bioses(pretty much the same one) for many of their boards at the same time.

      @@Decki777 well iv got a 14900ks and i can max out my 4090 in a cpu bound situations (1080p). For example high settings on MW3 in 1080p im averaging around 700FPS. In-game benchmark shows FPS for both cpu and gpu to be around the same. No bottlenecks. This is the same for other games i play.
      The only reason you could even claim CPU's are not quick enough is at lower resolutions. Otherwise the load will be put more on the GPU and wouldn't matter as much which CPU you have... Unless its a CPU intensive game. Not many are...
      FYI your 13700k is not close to a 14900ks. You are clearly not taking into consideration all factors here. If you look at the IMC list on OC net for the 14900ks's You will see the average IMC is over 80. I went through 6 14900k's are returned them all. The KS has good IMC's generally because the silicone is good. This is generally the case with better silicone comes better IMC. Regardless my point is. Im running 8600 cl34 stable. On a game like COD thats another 20 FPS each 200mhz step up in the in-game benchmark. Compare that to a 7600/8600 ram thats another 100FPS. The CPU is also much faster.
