No it´s not. The panel is very good, yes. But here´s why it´s not worth it: You can use the dual mode with 480 Hz with various resolutions, but there are some specific resolutions not supported by 480 Hz or 240 Hz. For example: I play CS2 4:3 stretched on 1920x1440. This resolution supports only 144 Hz. The other 4:3 resolutions look like absolute dogshit on this monitor and make the game literally unplayable. If you´re playing RPG or graphically beautiful made single player games and want to play it on 4K, yes you can do it. But for competitive shooters there are a lot better options out there. I guess I´m going with the MSI WQHD QD-OLED in 32" when it´s available. It has lower resolution and only 240 Hz max, but it delivers this refresh rate over all resolutions and does not lock certain resolutions out.

This guy completely fried his cpu with no power limit, buddy, you need to have pl1 and pl2 with 253w limit, and should also undervolt by about -0.100v, do that and you will have better performance and better temperature.

like Jaytwocents mentioned in a am5 presentation, the 7600non x and x version is very very hard to argue buying it for!you have to buy premium hardware in all for it!high watt psu, fast ram and not so cheap motherboard, also a good cpu cooler untill you learn on how to undervolt it! then the most expensive thing of the bunch.... the gpu!

I hate how 7800x3d fluctuates clocks! Why can't I 100% of the time lock the clocks to 5050+mhz constantly!!! I'm never close to hitting PPT, TDC, or EDC. Why must AMD force this nanny state PBO boost algorithm down my throat? It makes me really dislike the X3D.

I'm settled on the idea of I have enough when SWAP isn't thrashing when I'm saturating my 3950x. I don't know if 64GB is, 32 isn't and that is what I have. When I run handbrake with all the stuff I do in the foreground a lot of SWAP gets occupied. It's hardly noticeable since it's on a SK Hynix Platinum P41 but I worry about write endurance.

Just unlocking the fequency should give 9800X3D about 10% more performance than 7800X3D, hopefully AMD doesn't hold back and actually gives us the absolute best silicon on Zen5X3D, otherwise the entirety of Zen5 is a dud.

One benefit of PBO is the clock offset functions. For example if you have a good chip, the up to +200MHz option often helps far more, especially in gaming since while games will use multiple thread, the workloads across all cores are often low enough to allow PBO to boost 1-2 of the cores to above the stock max boost in some cases. While it will not benefit a demanding workload across all cores as much as a manual all core overclock, depending on use cases, the tradeoff is worth it as you get a good balance of improved multithreading and improved lightly threaded (when the fit curve offset is applied).
