Brought back a lot of memories....spent time in my room because of abusive parents and drunk father , things were not good at home but with my door shut and my headphones 🎧 on....in my room , my parents didn't exist.....just Billy Thorpe and "my room" thanks Billy.....
I miss Billy, he gave so much but had lots left, I'm sure. i wanted so much for there to be more of The Zoo, if you never heard the Shakin' The Cage album you need to, great from start to end, like Billy!
uuuuuuuhhhhhhhh...... Thanks sooo much for this post. Heard this last in 1983 (sophomore year in high school) and had only dreamed of hearing it again until now.
I finally found one of the songs off of the 21st century man album! If anyone can find the rest of the songs or the album 21st century man please let us know! Thanks!
The Bio at the top omitted Billy Thorpe's guest appearance on the USA Sci-Fi series "V" in which he was also the music director. The appreance was avery short as they broke into tfe studio where hevwas wailing on guitar and killed him. He was however musical director for much of the series I believe.
Billy Thorpe and The Aztecs version of "Poison Ivy" was their own arrangement and had nothing to do with The Rolling Stones version, except The Stones did their's first. Check out both of them and then give The Aztecs due credit for a great record.
love this song over children of the sun but what a great era for music I just love how music was about space you have prism space ship super star Montrose space station # 5 and more list goes on
I am quite intrigued to realise that most of the comments on this page are from Canada or the US. LOVE how Billy does have many dedicated international fans. Thought you may enjoy knowing a bit more of his really interesting story that l have put together in this Playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PLo0tzmnlxcWkk_yUX9DEHxe4c_wuLQFg7.html l, as an Aussie, wasn't aware of this particular recording, until l discovered this video. I didn't realise it was from recordings that he did in the US, in the 80s. He did have one successful single here from the same album.
Awesome

Does anyone actually understand ALL of the words that run together at the end of this song? It would be great if these were included in the lyrics.
