My E class just opens navigation. I need the voice command to make calls but cant find how to. I have the standard Garmin screen.

hi video very successful multi-purpose .. 2 hand 2015 mercedes c200d blutech amg 1.6 amg and then went to the car immediately after watching the video but I do not have sd card .... I do not want to give only 300 euro map .... volume control is activated if I get the sd card ?

I did not find it in the settings it is only on the steering wheel why ?
While this was helpful the elevator music in the backgrond was really annoying.
What is the voice command for REPEAT if you miss the nav announcement?
Does the voice control allow to pick audio albums, artists or certain songs to play from your pendrive or SD card ?

Mine too, only opens navigation. I yhink we have basic screen.
Do I need a special package to use the voice command system? I had impression the voice command worked regardless of package. Dialing a phone via voice command is super basic and should not require a pkg. But when I push voice button I get a message saying I don't have nav card.

@@FletcherJonesMotorcars HI Fletcher can't leave #. Called dealer and confirmed I don't have it. It's only part of multi media pkg. No one told me this. I would have selected this pkg or purchased another car altogether. I'm still shocked and dumbfounded that a brand like Mercedes wouldn't have as a base in every car. It's like not having a radio. But I get to look at a button that does NOTHING! I specifically didn't get another brand of car because they only have moonroof a d it doesn't open in any of the trims! This is my first venture into "luxury" vehicles and I gotta say I'm pretty surprised. None of these come close to infotainment options of American cars. I was already compromising in that for sake of big picture and all of the options and the great drive and handling. But to not have voice command. I asked them if I could trade back in for a car that had it. That's how much I can't fathom paying this much $& for a car and not having that very basic and common feature that EVERY OTHER car company provides! Sorry for rant I'm just so over the top stunned. First world problems huh.
@@kc4091 I know how you feel. I have been looking for a Merc for sometime and i have a list of what I wanted it to have eg. side mirror going down when reversing and when I lock it, seat memory (as some don't have it), electric tail gate. So I have 14 things on my list. Guess what voice control is not on that list. It was not on it as I thought it has the picture on the steering wheel so I thought it's there. I had an old 2008 BMW and has it. I can't believe that they would have the icon on the steering wheel and yet it's not standard. I feel like you do trying to return the car and get one that has it. It's also annoying that the 2016 C250d I have cannot be updated to apple car play. I should have had research more. WHAHH!!
@@tcmartespina681 yes I was quite shocked. Ive been making due by using Android Auto. But it's super messy with phone being plugged in and when you want to switch between apps on Android auto to the car radio, all kinds of buttons to push. I still to this day think about switching out car. But the sales tax is what is a killer. Don't want to pay that again so soon. The 2020 year has all of this. If sales person told me 2020 around corner will touch screen or at least that I needed media pkg for voice commands, would have given me more options. On the plus side the car drives like a dream. Amazing handling and power.
