I ordered a hybrid XLT lux pack in cactus. The lux pack is SUCH a good deal. But then, of course, I dropped the lux pack so that I'd have a shadow of a prayer of getting it built this year
The hybrid comes with a Full size spare as well. I live in New England and the XLT Hybrid is perfect. You only need to buy 2 snow tires for the winter and extend your All Season tires that much more lol
@@MoneyShift Have you considered a tonneau cover for the bed? If so, which ones are you looking at? I'm curious to see which brands fit best and keep it watertight.
It's a personal choice, BUT wanted the Lariat for the better looking, easy to clean seats and more importantly for those pre autonomies driving features ( adaptive cruise control with stop & go and lane centering), the B&O sounds system and Sirius availability with the full Sync 3. Believe it is not as glitchy.
After having spent similar time with both systems, they are both on par with each other when it comes to crashes. That said, SYNC 3 definitely is more vibrant and packed with more!
I got hybrid lariat, no lux pkg , leather plus 18" wheels I have a set of brand new tires from 2019 Ranger . what is 18's so when I need tires I could use it .
Color wise like Alto Blue with some ceramic coating it has a deep mirror look. Know dark colors show the dirt way more so a trade off and respect your color choices. It is two colors deep blue and black for the price of one color. Do not like the sometimes Orange look of the Hot Red Pepper.
I agree with everything you said. I have a bit more to spend and had to really think of getting lariat lux is worth it and decided it is! the price goes over 30 but i felt like it was the ultimate daily driver. was also wanting to get a lightning pro but i really dont need that much capability. and need to see the pro interior if it is to work oriented for me.
I chose the hybrid Lariat Lux for the same reason...affordability. for $33500 I have a maxed out truck...that is much more affordable than a maxed out truck of most any other type.
Can’t argue there! As someone with the Lux right now, it certainly is nice. I just think for most, the XLT Lux is the perfect blend of features and pricing.
@@MoneyShift i just did lariat with lux package, i felt like that is the ultimate daily driver with nice sound and ACC. price was pushing but the value was still great
The primary reason I am looking at the Maverick is its ability to tow 4000lbs (My current vehicle tows 3600lbs.) Since I live in a cold climate the XLT Luxury (Heated Mirrors, Seat & Steering Wheel) is a great add on, with the 4K towing package (So the ECO Boast 2.0L and AWD are required.) This is not a Work Truck, but a Tow Vehicle, so the Hybrid is out of the question. So far the only other options are the Jeep Cherokee and Hyundai Santa Cruz. Both have better towing capacity, but are more expensive, with poor non-towing fuel economy.
In Canada ford Canada website stil allows building and ordering a Maverick to this day. Some dealers are telling me the offer books are still open for 2022 and some say they are closed. I will be ordering ecoboost at end of June but not sure if I should expect 2022 or 2023 model.
Here in the states our order books open August 16, 2022. That said, I expect the 2023 model year to bring forth some new trim levels and packages, and if you can afford to wait till August....it might be worth it. That said, if there is a current spec that you just ADOREEEE, go for it!
@@MoneyShift you really think they will new trim packages already? that’s pretty exciting. i’m going for the Hybrid XLT and hopefully more trim options will indeed be available.
@@rsngrl There is the potential, ya! We have seen they already have multiple vehicles being tested (off-road variant, sporty variant), but also can look at other models of Fords to see how they could increase the trim levels offered. Not a guarantee, but a possibility worth waiting for imo.
@@MoneyShift I wouldn't expect major changes to 2023 model since there is no incentive for Ford to do it. Also price will probably go up by $1-3k like we've seen with F-150. I would want 60/40 rear seat split in back, rear seat vents and under trunk storage like Ridgeline. Can you repeat again about how to add on cruise control to XL model. That's the only reason we are looking at XLT no lux pkg but would like to keep costs down.
I’ve got the Lariat Lux which I love, but I would agree that the base is probably the sweet spot with this truck. I’d have to think long and hard about my build If I were doing it again today instead of 9 months ago.
I'm getting excited since I may be getting my build date fairly soon on my Maverick Hybrid XLT with Lux pkg in area 51. I was going to go with Cactus Gray, but decided Area 51 would be a little bit nicer of a color to go with.
Still waiting for my xlt hybrid with lux package &sunroof in cactus grey to be built. So freaking excited. My 04 escape is on its death bed lol. Hope it comes soon.
Just one man’s opinion! I wouldn’t fault anyone for adding it, and do believe the larger point of XL for gas and XLT Lux for hybrid is the most crucial!
Area 51 or BUST. lol jk jk but definitely agree on XLT with a nice XLT lux package. I have mixed feeling with towing capacity on these. 4k is just a little low but possibly good for the average joe. Not sure I would want a XL as my daily but work horse I guess. Not sure where I would go but New frontier tows 6K @ 30K sticker, Tacoma @ 33K.. not sure.. Great video though
Fair play Kevin, I however don't value Adaptive Cruise enough to have to step it up all the way to the Lariat lux. That said, I wouldn't fault you if you did!
In my view, while the blind spot and cross traffic is nice, I don’t value that at $650. Some folks do, and it is a nice feature to have, but I’d save that money.
Hey T you don't need the music found it too loud and you're entertaining enough.
Thanks for the feedback John, noted!
I don’t mind this music in the background, but this ends up in the forefront a bit too often. Very informative video! Thank you!!
Does the XLT have lumbar support for the drivers seat in either the base or lux package?

My order is XLT, Luxury, 4k, and FX4. Still waiting on production date, but hopefully I hear something soon.
Got my fingers crossed for ya.

Cactus gray xlt hybrid with lux package was exactly what I had ordered :)
Genius!
Me too 😁👍... Hopefully I get it before I die.
Love the videos! Thanks as always!
Thank you for your consistent support Alex!

Your logic is spot on with the Hybrid and Eco builds. The Co 360 is a personal/insurance convenience item.

This is good information but I could’ve done without the music so I can hear you more clearly
Ya, noted, thanks Michael. Trying my best to make the videos as appealing to all as possible.
i would love to order at the time of this video, however the books are closed until mid august.
i will not-so-patiently be waiting until then lmao
Hahaha just trying to help so you’re fully prepared come August!
Now that millions more know about the Mav, you better have your finger on the send button. My bet is 2023MY sells out in weeks, not months this time.
I didnt pic lariat because they don't have front passenger power buttons for sest adjustments
Fair move Jolly, fair move!
UH, THE "BACKROUND" MUSIC MAKES IT A LITTLE HARD TO HEAR YOU, THANASI, SORRY!!
No worries Chas! Fixed it in the newest video!

Lose the music
Thanks for the feedback Robert! Definitely will in the future
