Reminds me of a story a coworker told me about his grandfather who raised him. The man was a boxing champion in the navy. Coworker said he never saw his grandfather lose a fight, one of the strongest and baddest men he ever knew. One day he was in an altercation with a neighbor which led to a fist fight in which the grandfather got his ass whipped. My coworker said his grandfather stewed over the loss for days. One day the grandfather went across the street and knocked on the neighbors door, said he wanted to try again, they went to the neighbors back yard, the grandfather again lost, stood up, shook the man's hand and said " I just needed to know", and that was that.
The grandad should have tried more ten times to be certain. One guy I knew went 0-89 without a win. Yes he lost 89 of his fights but he wasn't bothered because He thought to himself his opponents were not tough enough to kill him if they did they should have killed him. Despite bad jokes about his lack of ability to fight he eventually oh yes got better and became ferocious and vicious He maimed 30 of his previous conquerors badly. Sadly He became nasty and violent man. He avenged all of his 89 loss plus some. He went unbeaten for long time before the the bullet ended his weird career . One of the toughest guys I met was a guy named Rick N. at my old Karate dojo in Hemet, CA. He was about 6'4" and about 300lbs but could kick at head height and wasn't really fat but wasn't really skinny (thick). He feared no one and would tell stories all the time about his street encounters, past and present. He wore glasses and had a red beard and hair. I think most people wouldn't see him as a "tough guy" but if you did decide to try him, you would be in a WORLD of hurt! Lol My Karate Sensei told a story of Rick's Black Belt test and having to fight / spar like 3-4 guys at once. Rick manhandled all of them, almost throwing one guy through a wall. One of the head Sensei's conducting the test remarked, "I think this guy has done this stuff for real before!" Lol

Lmao!!!, I love Chael's exit line,... "Apparently, he knows somebody else",...
My favorite fighter off all time. Always a pleasure to hear him speak as well.
Chael A+...Your content and delivery is solid. Keep up the good work. Hard to believe you're an athlete when i hear you speak. Many interviews i hear on tv with athletes make me wonder how they passed grade school. You on the other hand are very polished.
Chaels comment section is the funniest i have ever seen.
*Chael's stories are so goddamn memorizing*
Hard to forget them
Chael from one blue eyed German to another , I love you man, don't ever stop !!
I was at only one UFC event live...UFC 9 in Detroit. I feel honored to have been there live for Mark Schultz's one and only MMA fight...which he won. :-)
Chael is so tough he drinks his beer with the cap still on
so does my 87 year old grandma, not like they are super secured. She can uncap one with her fake hip lol.
Chael: The toughest guy I ever met is a guy named Les Gutches
Me: Who the fock is that guy?
You should learn...bad dude.
A total badass. Head of wrestling federation here in Colorado
I lost to his little brother Justin at a tournament in highschool, ugly beat down.
@Les Gutches You're a legend
This is the guy I was telling you about, the guy, the singer.
Been tough is supporting your family and and been the best parent you can be . That's tough
Chael is the absolute best story teller, I love listening to the guy
The baddest guy I know was my high school wrestling coach, Michael Porcelli... he has wins over Randy Couture and Kurt Angle. He used to tell us on the regular that Dave Shultz was the baddest man he knew. So I'm going with Dave too. It's settled.
Legend has it, Dave Schultz wears Chael Sonnen pajamas and thinks Chael is the toughest man ever
