I must post. I made these last night i used Mike's hot honey left out the pepper flakes. Without a doubt the Best Grilled Shrimp i ever had. Thats for this awesome recipe!
Hola Mike, I made this last night, I added ingredients to my taste and substituted other ingredients since I did not have your suggestions on hand. I added 3 very large garlic cloves I tasted them, and they were very hot, or I would have added more (now, I love garlic;), rather than parsley I used cilantro, which was what I had on hand fresh, rather than hot sauce (need to make some mostly out) I used chopped jalapeno. I marinated the shrimp for an hour and then cooked them. Once done, I found that the shrimp did not take on the flavor whatsoever rather boring, since the shrimp cook fast, I took them out of the marinade than further cooked the marinade. So, for my purposes I will not marinade the shrimp I will just cook them and further cook the marinade removing the shrimp. They were ultimately YUM! I love your recipes! 🥰
Just came back to this video to say THANK you!!! Honestly I made this marinade already sooooo many times and it is just so simple and good even without the salt (I am on a low sodium diet). Love this and thank you so much for sharing it and having a such a clear video!
This looks amazing! I will be trying it today for Mother’s Day in my country. Just stumbled upon your channel and loved the combinations of flavor and heat.
Thank you so much. We love to listen to you you were straight into the point and your recipes are fantastic. This has been our go to my husband has not wanted me to switch since I first made this. I love that you can tweak it and no matter what it comes out good whether it’s a little sweeter a little spicier a little richer it’s still delicious every time. Thanks so much!
Great video very informative right to the point professionally. A lot of videos nowadays are total Time Bandits they got this 15 minute long presentation in the beginning it usually takes him 5 minutes before they say anything is worthwhile and then it's just a show about their personality not with you my man your professional rights of business man appreciate your video
This looks delicious! The recipe is for approximately how many shrimp? I'm trying to see how much to mix for about 4lbs of shrimp. Thank you for your assistance and posting such delicious recipes
This recipe is beautiful .. I will cook this in your own version .. sure it will taste so delicious of all spices you added .. thanks for sharing .. have a blessed Friday .. cheers
@@ChiliPepperMadness thanks. I'm going to pan sear mine on my grill, right near the end of the cook, thinking about throwing a bit of tequila in the pan to set on fire.
Joseph, 1 hour tops is best. Overnight can make the shrimp mealy. For the sauce, I use my homemade Louisiana style hot sauce: bit.ly/4bBp48c, but you can use your favorite one. Use something like Crystal or Tabasco, really for a nice kick.
Heat the grill to medium-high temperature before adding the shrimp. Grill the shrimp for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and fully cooked.
@@ChiliPepperMadness Thanks. I have been doing 2mins then 90 secs on other side. With a Weber Q covered gas grill. But not marinated. More just a rub of sorts. I'll try this recipe.
Hey, Daniel. I like to marinate about 1 hour for shrimp. You can go longer, but I wouldn't recommend over 8 hours. The shrimp can start to break down and get a bit mealy.
What's your Favorite Way to Cook Shrimp?
Shrimp scampi, and also pan fry with Almond meal and Coconut oil. Delicious! Thank You so much for this recipe, Stay Healthy my friend!

That marinade looks really nice. I've experimenting with more citrusy, acidic marinades and I really love them.
Thanks! Yes, very fun to experiment and come up with delicious combinations.
Plans for this weekend, thanks again Mike.

Hi Mike. Great marinade! I use some ancho chili with sweet paprika as a substitute for smoked parika.
Sounds great! I love it!
I see shrimp tacos in my future. This recipe looks incredible!

Excellent! If you don’t mind me asking the temperature of the grill? Thank you!
Thanks! I heat to medium heat, maybe medium high.
Hi Mike just wondering is that your UA-cam kitchen or your home kitchen? And keep up the great vids!
Thanks! It's my home kitchen, actually.
very nice kitchen! must be a joy to cook in, nice layout too. Would love to see a kitchen tour.🌶🌶🌶
Great video.
Regards from Brazil.
Thank you very much!
Is it ok to make the marinade the night before and keep it refrigerated until time to marinate the shrimp?
Yes, you can do that, Andrew. Time saver!
@@ChiliPepperMadness thanks. I'm going to pan sear mine on my grill, right near the end of the cook, thinking about throwing a bit of tequila in the pan to set on fire.
@@angrygnomecst Enjoy!!
@@angrygnomecst get that flambe going.. that would be a great touch if you're doing it in a pan 👍🍻
Nom nom... tacos await.
Yes!!!!
Massive respect for using extra virgin olive oil and not heart clogging canola, soybean or vegetable oils.
PS it’s so good! Great recipe matey! Thanks
Hey how much time for the grilling. Thanks
Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, depending on the size. Shrimp cooks up very quickly. Enjoy.
@@ChiliPepperMadness thank you, just tried it. Were amazing
great recipe, subscribed
Thanks!
Can I marinate overnight?😊
I don''t recommend that. 15-30 min or 1 h at the most. If using lime juice instead of lime zest, keep your marinating time to 15 minutes or less.
Nice! How much marinade for 1.2 kg of shrimps? Double your recipe?
Double should be fine for 1.2 kg. Enjoy!
How about marinating it over night, or is that too long, what kind of hot sauce ?

Ok, thank you for letting me know and for the recipe.
I think I would swap honey with soy but seems like a real nice recipe
Go for it!
How long to cook them on the grill and at what temp?
Heat the grill to medium-high temperature before adding the shrimp. Grill the shrimp for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and fully cooked.

I like your speak
Yo Mike, what's your thoughts on letting the Marinade, you know Marinade for maybe a day.
Hey, Daniel. I like to marinate about 1 hour for shrimp. You can go longer, but I wouldn't recommend over 8 hours. The shrimp can start to break down and get a bit mealy.
Would double the recipe be enough for 2lbs shrimp
Yes, should be just fine. Enjoy!
1000👍👍👍
don’t be shy add soy sauce
Go for it! Your recipe to play with.
It is gonna ruin the color of the food.
