You forgot to add the 4 cups of beef broth to the recipe. Looks great, we ate this growing up as a kid, esp after church…SO GOOD!!! Only soup I like to add okra to, delish. 🙏 This soup is great to freeze! Just make sure to use Yukon gold or red potatoes bc they hold up the best without crumbling, esp when freezing. Making tonight with some cornbread 😋
OMG...I started a pot of deer burger-vegetable soup 2 hours ago and sat down with my laptop, pulled up UA-cam, just to see how other people cook theirs. I almost can't believe how similar our approaches are!! I started with 3/4 lb of ground deer meat/venison, added a chopped onion as the meat browned....then some finely chopped celery, a tsp of minced garlic, about 1 Tbsp "W" sauce....let brown and simmer for 10 minutes. Then I added a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes, a 15 oz can of tomato sauce....simmered for another 15 minutes before adding one large carrot, chopped fine. After that I poured half bag of the same mixed vegetables Nancy uses, plus about 1/3 can of whole sweet corn. Seasoned with some Cajun shake, a few splashes of Crystal hot sauces.....OH MAN!!!! GREAT VIDEO!
Nancy, thank you for this easy and super delicious hamburger soup recipe; my family absolutely loved it. My 5 year old great grandson think every time they come by I'm suppose to have this soup for him to take a bowl home. And thanks for the paper towel tip works excellent. Blessing's to yah!
Thank you for sharing your recipe! I didn't have cayenne, so I used red pepper flakes instead....and used tomato sauce with basil garlic and oregano...it was delicious
Grand Rising, I Appreciate Your Hamburger, Soup And I Made Some Last Night. It Was So Delicious😛 I Did Everything, You Said To Do. And Made Some Cornbread Thank You! Queen 👑 GOD Bless You.
Ty for the tip about cutting up vegetables and freezing them. Unfortunately I’m not smart enough to have figured that out 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍. I’ve thrown out too much old produce.
I wanted to ask you because sometimes I do have to throw out my vegetables and I hate that I grew up so far and I do not like to waste food I still am poor but I do have a meal every day and I think God for it but I was wondering when you put the vegetables in the freezer though are they going to get mushy or should I just use them for soup because they will I was just wondering will they still have a crisp does any buddy to tell me at appreciate it thank you I can’t wait to make the soup p.s. I forgot to ask can you put all vegetables frozen or no tk u

@@KitchenNotesfromNancy I did do a hamburger soup it turned out great and just what I needed on a couple of cold days.
I like more hamburger meat, usually use 1lb and half, sometimes 2 lbs. That's just my choice, everyone is different.
I cook my meat & drain the grease before i add my onions & peppers
great
Extreme lack of beef
You don't have to scream, we can hear you loud and clear.
