If Eaglemanina is ever in the Harrisburg area again: (1.)And east of the Susquehanna River you should look into MDT instead of CXY (the side of the river matters). (2.)I would look into going to a show.
It was nice to hear your agent talk about people leaving their difference at the theater door. I was just telling someone how general aviation is the same way. Great video again!
Awesome again, John. Great pilot, great drummer. Quick comment for your viewers on your crosswind calc. It’s intuitive to think that a 45 degree crosswind means half is xwind and half headwind, but that’s not the case. It’s a trig. calc. In this case with your 50 degree crosswind we need to take the Sine of 50 which gives 77% of the wind as xwind, so your cross wind component was actually 13G19 and potentially in excess of your SOP. Good thing you got rwy 30! A xwind of only 30 degrees will yield half the value as xwind (sin(30)=0.5) while 45 deg = 70%! Thanks for another great video. I look forward to each new release. Safe travels.
Nice job as always. Very different (in a good way) from others. Great content regarding weather planning and decision making, very methodical and safe. As a fellow pilot (Cirrus SR22) always looking to improve my own flying experience. I appreciate the work that goes into the videos !
I love the videos- I came here for the flying (I’m a pilot). But now I’m interested in coming to your show. I live in a suburb of Chicago and I noticed the April 17th booking in DeKalb, Illinois. However, according to eaglemaniaband.com the DeKalb, Illinois show will be at the Palace Theater. I am unable to find that theater in DeKalb. Any ideas for me? Has that theater changed names since the booking?
Good catch!!! We recently updated our website and the designer made a few errors when he moved everything over and I thought I had caught them all!! Its the Palace Theater in the Wisconsin Dells. www.dellspalace.com/ Thanks for reaching out and glad youre enjoying these!

You are SO correct! My bad!!! Thank you and thanks for watching (and the truth is that the Meridian can handle more than 17kts of crosswind)..
