  • Today it’s all about unicorn bubble bath! By far the best bubble bath I’ve ever made! I’m going to show you how to make the following: [bubble] bath bomb pieces, bubble bar stars, and how to assemble the bubble bath in a jar!
    BUBBLE BOMB PIECES: I colored recycled bath bomb powder that I had. {If you don't have extra bath bomb powder, mix together 1 cup (250 grams) baking soda, 1/2 cup (100 grams) citric acid, 1/4 cup (30 grams) corn starch + 7.5 milliliters fragrance oil, 5 milliliters polysorbate 80, & 5 milliliters cocamidopropyl betaine}. I used 1/2 cup per bowl (color). Then added 1 teaspoon sodium lauryl sulfoacetate & 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) liquid bubble bath to each. *** You may also add 5 milliliters fragrance if the powder is super old. Mix it up (mixture will puff up), then lay mix flat in a mold or pan. Pack it well & make it flat. Dry for 24 hours. Once dry, break up into pieces or chunks. I then separated chunks but this is optional. BUBBLE BAR STARS: 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/3 cup sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, 1/8 cup cream of tartar. 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) fragrance oil, 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) liquid bubble bath, 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) polysorbate 80. Mix all ingredients together & form a dough. Divide dough to make multiple colors. Roll out dough. Make sure to coat with corn starch so it doesn't stick. Cut out shapes. I highly suggest plunger cutters to cut the mini stars out bc they have a spring back that pushes the shape out for you! Dry 24 hours! ASSEMBLY: Just remember to throw in a few break layers, a few sparkly stars, & maybe some colorful salts & I don’t see how it cant come out perfect! RESULTS: This bubble bath definitely exceeded all of my expectations. I’m assuming bc all of the materials had a bubble bath element to it, even the bath bomb pieces were loaded with it…. I’m just so surprised bc not even my actual bubble bars produce bubbles this great!!!!

      Thanks so much! I know right? Its funny bc the videos that I think are going to do good, really don't go anywhere (like this one). And, the videos I post that I don't think much about, those are the ones that blow up! It's just odd how that works. I just never know!

    As always, super pretty and fun! I was wondering about your micas. 99% of blue and green micas are not bath tub water safe because of the chromium oxide green and ultramarine blues. Do your blue and green micas meet that FDA standard? I’ve been searching for tub safe blue and green micas for a long time but so far have only found one moss green mica that is tub safe. Thanks for always being so inspiring!

      Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear that you're inspired! I'm not sure about your inquiry concerning the blue & green micas. What I can tell you is that the micas & glitters I use in my bath & body projects are deemed "100% safe, non-toxic, eco friendly, biodegradable" & they're specifically marketed for "BATH BOMBS, soap, & cosmetics (face, eyes, lips, etc.)". Perhaps I am taking a more laid-back attitude towards this, but, if it's eco friendly, biodegradable, & marketed specifically for bath products & cosmetics, like eye shadow & lip gloss, I generally accept this as "safe" for use in the tub. I understand your hesitance & skepticism. I also try to be vigilant in my bath purchases; I purchase only from reputable & established companies, I always read their information offered on the purchase page, & read their posted reviews. However, I don't request FDA certificates from the sellers so I cannot give you the specific information that you're after. But, if you're not 100% sure, don't use it! There are always organic & natural substitutes for color! For example, green, yellow, rose French clays offer color. Granted, colors aren't as bright or beautiful, & have NO sparkle - but it's 100% safe, natural, & organic! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

    Hi, Dora! I'm from Brazil, starting my products and I love all your tips and recipes!! Thanks for sharing all these!!! I have a question, if you can help me please: what is the correct way to use this product? Just toss the content into the bathtub or try to get a little bit of each layer because of the different elements and textures? Thanks once more!!! Kisses!!!

    This is so pretty! I made it in Unicorn Farts and it smells soooo good. I get really good bubbles when the water is running but they don't last long once the water is off. Tips for increasing lasting power of bubbles?

      Thank you so much! You should give it a try! For the embed bath bomb recipe: Simply hit the icon button in the video & itll take you to the “hidden embed bath bomb (Valentine’s Day bath bomb). There you’ll find a recipe for the recycled bath bomb I used in this video. It’s a standard bath bomb recipe (the one I’ve used for almost all my other bath bomb videos). Sorry, I didn’t realize this would be confusing. Hope this helps!!

      @@CreativeBathLab if you sell these how would you label the ingredients if you use a bubble bath that you purchase off amazon? It might be easier to label if you use coco b? BTW thank you so much for sharing these are awesome!!!!

    • @CreativeBathLab
      @CreativeBathLab  3 роки тому +3

      Thanks so much! I don’t sell my products, but, if I did, I’d list the ingredients as I use them in the product. I’m not sure I see the problem in listing liquid bubble bath as an ingredient? Regardless whether it’s from Amazon, Walmart, etc. Or the difference in listing liquid bubble bath vs coco betaine? In my opinion, if you have a great product, ingredients are secondary & shouldn’t really matter (as long as they’re not harmful).
