    Now I understand why it’s expensive! It’s a beautiful art combined with science! Amazing!!

    You really should gently spoon in your slsa and cover it up with the other powders until you add your wet ingredients. That cuts way way down on the airborne particles

      Exactly why I used a respirator and why I stressed using a respirator is important.

      @@sudsysoapworks I agree! One of first things in your video was using a mask and respirator. But I totally understand that concern ❤

    I love this! I hear if you put polysorbate 80 in the mix it will help to emulsify the oils with the water to avoid slippage

    Thank you for this recipe!! I for the first time in my life!, just made this bubble scoops with your recipe, since I had all the ingredients at hand. The fragrance I used is Mango Papaya. They came out superv!! The colors orange and yellow with the Lakes dye. I did put the SLSA first in the mixture of ingredients to avoid the dust, and it worked, there was no dust when I mix all the ingredients with a spatula. Just in case anyone want to try it this way. Thank you again, I'm very proud of how they look!!

    What an amazing recipe! I bought one from someone on Etsy and it was horrible, never dried and the amount of SLSA was insane. I made this one yesterday and they were dried in less than 24 ours. My son LOVED it. Do you have a "by me a coffee" by any chance? Thank you so much!

    Can you use arrow powder instead of the cornstarch and baking powder?

    • @sudsysoapworks
      @sudsysoapworks  Рік тому +1

      You could sub arrowroot powder for the cornstarch but not for the baking soda. The baking soda would need to stay in the recipe. Hope that helps!

    Why cornstarch AND cream of tartar? Can the cornstarch be substituted?

  • @celestialchronic3572
    @celestialchronic3572 Рік тому

    Do you have to do the Kaloi Clay? If it can be replaced with cornstarch or cream of tartar do we just need to double that measurement in the recipe? Or would it just be a tsp of cream of tartar instead of doubling? I hope this makes sense. Love that someone else was also having the same issue I was with bubble bath bar recipes. 😭🥴

    Do you think if it’s layed flat on a pan to dry then kindve broken up like a chocolate bark type of look? It would still be solid and work well?

      I would leave this recipe as is for a humid environment! For me in this video the dough was a tad bit dry but still worked, and right now it’s pretty dry here.

    • @sudsysoapworks

      Hello, you would need to replace with another powder surfactant to keep the amount of bubbles. You could use SCI powder or SES powder as a replacement 😊

      You can eliminate the kaolin clay and replace with corn starch or cream of tartar. I wouldn’t eliminate the cream of tartar because that’s what helps harden the bar! 😊
