UPDATE 3 Years Later-SOLVED-Craftsman V20 Weed Wacker String Replacement-Cap Replacement

It's still running fine after five years! Please hit the subscribe & like buttons and leave a comment. Be advised that the replacement line feed cap lasted me three seasons in Ohio. This repair takes a few minutes; BUT the replacement spring has too much tension, so don't throw away your old one. I bought this trimmer in 2019 for $99.99. Amazon sells it (it went up in price to $139 when I checked today). The replacement line is $7.50 on Amazon (.065 inch diameter). I don't recommend buying the pre-spooled line replacements, because you can do the line spool yourself for a lot cheaper. The cap and spring replacement is also sold Amazon for $5.79. I have the same trimmer, CMCST900, my spool housing (part #10) keeps slipping down. Not all the out, but loose. I can push it back in place, but it won't stay. Any advice on how to fix this? If not, no worries!! Just thought I'd ask :) thanks!!
