  • one of the more difficult trails on Mt.Ida. I rate the trail as 6/6 difficulty because of the added danger factor.

    Motivating! Just got my 2016 AT and can’t wait to ride some gnarly terrain that some would say the Twin doesn’t belong😁

      It will just keep on surprising you with its capabilities as your riding progression allows more difficult terrain.

    Bold and impressive riding.
    Clearly not the “average” guy when it comes to throwing a heavy adventure bike around.

    That was crazy good! Also a good video for all the WR250 and DR650 riders to watch after stating anything larger than said bikes are too large for single trail, without stating "for me" afterwards 😅.
    Have you changed the gearing on that AT?

      @@thatguyonanafricatwin I've got a Africa Twin 1000L Adventure Sports and I did modify it a lot! It's an awesome bike and I do nice offroad as well. But I'm always carrying my camping gear to sleep outside, so it's a bit heavy.. All the best for you! Where are you from?

      @Franz_Schmid 2 місяці тому

      @@thatguyonanafricatwin dude, I've got the same modifications like you! ADV Camel front fender kit and Outback Motortek complete crash bar system. Are you talking about the wheel bearing, at the beginning of the video? That broke with my bike as well.

    • @thatguyonanafricatwin
      @thatguyonanafricatwin  2 місяці тому +1

      @timmbo with camping gear is how the bike is meant to be ridden I think. I am out of BC in Canada, how about you?
      The bearing in this video is the sprocket carrier bearing. There are 3 in the rear wheel. The Sprocket carrier gets a lot of torque on it by design. And, it is one of the worst to fail if it does.

      @@thatguyonanafricatwin hey men, thanks for your reply. I wish I could touch you with one finger at your shoulder, I would never was my finger again! 🤪 You're a very good looking men and so sympathic, the way you talk. I wish you all the best for anything which comes in your mind! I'm from Switzerland, in Europe. You know that country? I've been to Canada in my own, with 11, 13, 28 years. 2 times Saskatchewan and onces in BC! Awesome country. I just googled sprocket carrier bearing, that's exactly the thing which broke, while offroading hard! My whole bike was wobbling around in the back and I drove to the next car repair shop. The guy was able to change it for me, somehow it wasn't a special size or so. I don't remember, how many kilometers I had on the bike, very stupid that I didn't write down a note. But what do you think, should I change it again? What's your opinion on it? Or do you say like, "I change mine like every XXX kilometers to be sure"?

      If you watch a video thats just been uploaded, UA-cam server is still converting the file to all the different resolutions, starting with 360p and each larger size is next in the que.
      A long video may take hours to get to full resolution after upload.
