World class single track on the Africa Twin

I had the pleasure of riding some of the best trails I've ever ridden on Vancouver Island. There was a little bit of everything. It was big bike unfriendly, which is my favorite! I was led by with Mladen on his 790R Rally.

Good on ya man. I'm too old to take mine on anything like that lol. I plan on picking up a CRF300 next year for the single track. Living on PEI, we say "Dirt is for potatoes" :)

I'm sure the 300 will take you lots of great places 🤙I also hear there isn't a whole lot of elevation on PEI.

Epic riding my friend! Would you mind sharing where this is on the island? I live in Shawnigan Lake (40 minutes north of Victoria), and while I'm not even in the same ballpark of skill as you, I'd love to hear about any spots you'd recommend that might be semi-approachable for a newbie... Or just any spots in general as I can't seem to find much on my own. Cheers!

That is Shawnigan lake. I didn't track anything but the early trails are near the highway. I'm sure poking around in there would yeald results. The only other place I've ridden was Whiskey Creek. It also had some doable trails. 🤙

Absolutely, just get out and ride! If you can find the quarry haul road there a few trails off of there. That's what I remember.
